I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful villa in Gerlodswil, Switzerland, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The villa's location was fantastic, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, yet conveniently close to shops and restaurants. The accommodations provided the perfect balance of comfort and luxury, with a private swimming pool and a balcony offering stunning views, which became our favorite spots during the stay. What stood out the most was how everything was exactly as advertised, making it easy to enjoy both the tranquility of the area and the local amenities. Nadja, the host, was exceptional. She was incredibly kind, supportive, and always available to ensure that our stay was perfect. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful retreat in Switzerland. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Stefan was a great host, very responsive and mailed the keys out as soon as I shared my address. The location is great with a short walk to train station and bars/clubs!

Superb view. Great location. Easy public transportation to Zurich and all of central Switzerland. Convenient parking. Patrick, as host, is gracious, responsive, and very helpful with activity suggestions.

This host was so gracious with us when we got the arrival time message mixed up and showed up early! The place was just perfect for the 8 of us, all adults! Loved the hot tub and pool! And the washer & dryer was such a bonus! Thank you!

A perfect stay in Zurich! We really appreciated the well stocked apartment. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, dishes, etc. it was very clean too. We really appreciated how easy it was to get a tram or even walk to the center of town. Thank you!

The stay was very pleasant, everything very straightforward and clearly described. The surroundings very quiet and beautiful! It has everything you need to recover in the area. The kitchen is well equipped. Our highlight was the fire outside in the evening with the very cozy sitting area by the fire. Thanks so much for the hospitality 🙏

We were a group of 8 friends who felt very comfortable in the place. This one was very comfortable and had everything you needed! As a big plus: The view on Lake Lucerne in the Hot Tub is unbeatable. I highly recommend this place as you could enjoy a relaxing and quiet break. In addition, the communication with Yvonne went smoothly. We'd love to come back!

We were very well hosted by Theres, very nice cottage, very nice view, the kitchen is well equipped, rustic but very pleasant to live in. The rooms are big. We'd be happy to come back.

Fränzi was super communicative at all times. The apartment was spotless and everything we needed for our family!! The views are stunning and the surroundings were very peaceful and relaxing. If you want to stay in a traditional historic Swiss farmhouse this really is the place for you. Yes, the floorboards creak and the ceilings are low, but nothing you wouldn't expect in a building of this age. It is well described and accurate. The views across the lake to the Rigi are breathtaking. It would be possible to simply sit all day and look out of the window. The accommodation has a lovely modern bathroom, is well equipped and as described. It is up a small private road which would be easy to miss if you didn't follow the clear instructions. Highly recommend a stay here. Jürg is lovely and the surroundings are simply gorgeous.

Perfect home for us to stay in while We explored Bern and the surrounding areas with our two young boys. The hosts were very clear in their directions, responsive to any inquiries we had, and friendly. They are very accommodating to your preferred bedding setup. The place is located in walking distance to a nearby bus stop for public transport, Bear park which takes you into the old town, and a short walk to the beautiful Rosengarten restaurant.

Thank you, Julian, for offering affordable accommodation in a fantastic location. Although there were six of us we felt comfortable, cosy and had everything we needed, a perfect stay.

Correct accommodation and owners respectful of guest privacy

The house was perfect. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Super close to a tram stop which made it easy to get into Zurich. Safe and quiet neighborhood. My mother in law ended up having emergency surgery while we were there - the hospital is a 3 minute walk from the house. Thomas and his family were so kind and helpful during a stressful situation. While the vacation did not go as planned, being in such a beautiful space made all the difference! We would love to come and stay at Thomas' home anytime!

The spacious appartement is beautiful and very clean. We had a great stay to explore the winter wonderland in Lucerne, Pilatus and Oeschinensee. Rita was very kind and helpful.

We ( a family with 8 adults and three children) met at Sarah's place, came from different corners of Switzerland to spend a weekend together. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Sarah welcomed us in a very friendly way with a beer for a chat. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend the rustic house.

Yves is a super friendly very helpful responsive person he went way beyond to make my stay so comfortable & very memorable he's one of the most thoughtful host I ever meet before. We had a wonderful stay in the spacious apartment, which provided all the comfort we needed. Everything was perfect, and the hosts, Klara and Paul, were incredibly welcoming and lovely. We would love to return during the summer!

Right upon arrival we thought we'd love to come back here a second time when it's warmer outside. We really appreciated the tranquility and space and the space and you can be anywhere in the Emmental in a short time, even to Burgdorf it only takes a little more than 20 minutes. The reception was friendly and the apartment well furnished and lightning clean. Wifi works well, and great views into the distance!

They were both flexible and very communicative. The view from the deck is gorgeous. Is definitely out of the city center. Great market is about a 10 min walk through residential neighborhood. Kitchen has everything for cooking you need.
