I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful villa in Gerlodswil, Switzerland, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The villa's location was fantastic, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, yet conveniently close to shops and restaurants. The accommodations provided the perfect balance of comfort and luxury, with a private swimming pool and a balcony offering stunning views, which became our favorite spots during the stay. What stood out the most was how everything was exactly as advertised, making it easy to enjoy both the tranquility of the area and the local amenities. Nadja, the host, was exceptional. She was incredibly kind, supportive, and always available to ensure that our stay was perfect. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful retreat in Switzerland. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

The property and views are very nice! It's a bit difficult to get there, but with Kurt's directions, it works great! We were 11 adults and 2 children and had a very great time.

It was a very nice apartment and the host was helpful and met the need. I recommend staying there and dealing with the host.

Superb view. Great location. Easy public transportation to Zurich and all of central Switzerland. Convenient parking. Patrick, as host, is gracious, responsive, and very helpful with activity suggestions.

Amazing! We stayed for a week (April 2025) and the place was incredible. Exactly as advertised!! Great house, plenty of space and immaculately clean on arrival. Well stocked kitchen, fantastic pool and hot tub, and rapid responsive host. We loved everything about our stay, thank you. 5 stars plus!

Joys Apartment is like time traveling, it’s originally 70/80ies but extremely well kept - everything is working perfectly despite being obviously heavily used over the years. It was also extremely clean, never seen auch a clean Airbnb before. There is a bar in the basement but 100% quit. What is not so quit are the neighbors that kept running through the staircase all night. But this can be different for every stay since this is a boarding house. The only downside I can think of is the sometimes slow and somehow random communication with Joy. It was not always easy to get a helpful answer right away. Nevertheless Joy was very nice and let us stay a bit longer on our departure day which helped us a lot. Thank you Joy! Until next time!

Amazing views. Great layout for a big family.

the scenery is outstanding. truly what we expect. i recomend Theres place to anyone who prefer enjoy and feel like the local. The house is very accomodating especially the kitchen very very complete. we felt very homey and love the place but the place only accessible by car i think. if you walk/using public transport this place will be quite a walk.

I stayed with my dog for 2 nights in the apartment and we felt right at home although it is of course ringing, which is logical with an old house. But it didn't bother me The bed was comfortable and the duvet nice and warm and I slept wonderfully.

if you are after a pleasant great place to stay definitely is Miss Kate's place. peaceful surrounding and immaculate place and everything you needed was there and amazing couples. Friendly and helpful and great knowledge of area and recommend us the very beautiful places. Definitely recommend there to anyone and we are going to back there. Thanks Miss Kate and lovely husband.

We traveled as a family: mom, dad and 2 small children aged 1.5 and 4. The place was prepared with double bed, baby bed and with 2 single beds with fallout guard, so we could freely choose how it is best for our children to sleep. It should be noted that the blinds do not darken the rooms very well and it is quite bright in the rooms because of the orientation of the windows, especially in the evening in spring. Unfortunately, a roller blind in the master bedroom was broken, which did not disturb us as parents for sleep. The kitchen was super equipped with everything you need, including spices and tea, etc. The bathroom is quite small, only for one person, but a second person can shower in the large shower during this time. The location on the Great Muristalen is super quiet and beautiful. From the window you have a beautiful view of the old town through the trees. The 12 bus through the old town and to the train station runs almost right around the corner.

We spent 3 nights at Julian's place. He was a terrific host, helpful and ultra responsive. The place is in a great location and is well connected by Basel's amazing transport system, (bus and tram). The apartment is exactly as listed, very nice retro feel and a little quirky which made it feel that bit unique. Julian gave us great hints and tips and was kind enough to lend us some bikes which we used to cycle along the Rhine. The Basel travel card which Julian supplies is a real gem and makes navigating the city so much easier.

Staying at Silvia’s Bee House was amazing! She was very helpful by picking us up from the train station and very kind. The views were beautiful!

The house was perfect. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Super close to a tram stop which made it easy to get into Zurich. Safe and quiet neighborhood. My mother in law ended up having emergency surgery while we were there - the hospital is a 3 minute walk from the house. Thomas and his family were so kind and helpful during a stressful situation. While the vacation did not go as planned, being in such a beautiful space made all the difference! We would love to come and stay at Thomas' home anytime!

We ( a family with 8 adults and three children) met at Sarah's place, came from different corners of Switzerland to spend a weekend together. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Sarah welcomed us in a very friendly way with a beer for a chat. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend the rustic house.

This place is absolutely stunning extremely tasteful stylish & loving furnished with very beautiful mountains views. Yves is a super friendly very helpful responsive person he went way beyond to make my stay so comfortable & very memorable he's one of the most thoughtful host I ever meet before. I truly loved my stay I felt very comfortable, safe without of a doubt I will book this place again in my next visit to Moutier. I highly recommend this Wonderful Unique Place. Thank you Yves.

We had a wonderful stay in the spacious apartment, which provided all the comfort we needed. Everything was perfect, and the hosts, Klara and Paul, were incredibly welcoming and lovely. We would love to return during the summer!

Spacious apartment with good and extensive equipment, it still has ingredients, spices and household paper in the kitchen. Even shower detergent was ready and there are plenty of bath towels in all variants. Highly recommended.

They were both flexible and very communicative. The view from the deck is gorgeous. Is definitely out of the city center. Great market is about a 10 min walk through residential neighborhood. Kitchen has everything for cooking you need.
