Rented Kelly's place for my sister and her husband for a little get away. They had a wonderful time. Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Only good things to say.

Many years ago I was captivated by images of this beach house in various interiors magazines. To me it encapsulated everything a perfect beach house would be, light and airy with a wonderful indoor-outdoor connection, having a calm, barefoot luxury vibe and immersed in nature with a spectacular view of the ocean. Little did I know that fifteen years later we would be living in Africa, have been lucky enough to visit Grotto Bay several times and now to have spent a blissful few days staying in this amazing home. This was an experience that we will remember forever and for me something of a dream come true.

Location is superb! It's 30 min from town and other activities we wanted to do and 45 min from the airport. 2 min walk to the beach ! Lovely community and area.

We loved this house right on the beach. Very comfortable beds, beautifully clean linen and towels, and beach towels. Easy to use space, with lots of different areas for sitting and looking at the amazing view. Lovely walks along the beach and a very cold swim which was wonderful.

Very beautiful place to stay, felt at home right away. Has loads of space. Very peaceful and quiet. Didier was very helpful and responsive. Awesome property!

Regina was a very nice host, was there to meet me and guide me. Big bath tub, great for kids. There's a grill and nice outdoor space with a trampoline. My dog also enjoyed the place, it's fully fenced. There was 2 friendly tortoises as well, which my daughter liked. Upon my request they also recommended a lovely maid. Thank you

Staying at Gintara’s place was awesome! The place was super clean and comfy, and communication was on point – he made everything really easy. Gintara also helped us plan some cool excursions and got us some great deals on them. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we really appreciated all the help. It's also within walking distance to Big Bay and a short drive from Melkboss :)

I rented the house for my wife, two kids and some friends. We had a very great stay and a good time at the house. Everything was as expected and described by the owners. We had a very good communication with them before and during our stay. They are so lovely and helpful. Restaurants are close, also grocery store and a mall. The beach is just 7 minutes away by car and around 20-35min to downtown depending on traffic. Also once a week the house is cleaned with no extra charge. All together 5 Stars from us! Thank you very much.

We’ve stayed in quite a few Airbnb's over the years, but this one stands out as our absolute favorite. From the moment we stepped inside and were greeted by a breathtaking view of the turquoise Atlantic Ocean stretching endlessly before us, we knew we were in for a truly special experience. The location is simply spectacular—perched perfectly to take in the stunning scenery, yet conveniently close to everything we needed. The amenities provided seemed endless, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure comfort and convenience. From plush bedding and top-quality furnishings to well-equipped kitchen facilities and little extras that made a big difference, everything was of the highest standard. We even got to paddle in between the dolphins that frequent the bay. The entire setup of the home exudes relaxation. Whether it was enjoying morning coffee on the balcony with the sound of the waves in the background, unwinding in the cozy living space, or simply soaking in the pea

WOW - where to start!! Jane's place is a complete sanctuary and heaven on earth. The pictures do not even come close to doing the actual home and farm justice. Within the first few minutes, you can understand why this home is highly rated in ever aspect. You are completely secluded in the most incredible surrounds, with the most beautiful hiking trails on your doorstep. We did a fair bit of exploring on foot and in the car around the farm to watch the sunset at the top of the mountain and it was breathtaking. The garden was a highlight for us as that's where we spent most of our time bouncing between the grass and outdoor tables. The house is stocked with absolutely everything you could possibly need and Jane was SO helpful and communicative throughout. We feel so incredibly blessed to have spent such a beautiful weekend together as friends, spending quality time together under the sun and stars, making lasting memories. We will DEFINITELY be back!!! Thank you, Jane!!

We had a fantastic stay at Mieke’s Cottage! Lovely little pool and the farm animals and little playground were a lovely touch as well. Our daughter loved it. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

The house was perfect for our family which included 2 adults, 2 toddlers, and 3 grandparents. Everything in the house you can need as if you were in your own place. Short walking distance to great beach for kids to play on. Great braai and kuier area. Yzerfontein the town and area is a gem on the West coast and worth a visit.

We absolutely loved this place! The interior was stunning, the views from the roof amazing, the beach was perfect to spend days with kids and we really enjoyed having a casual but good restaurant right next door, went there occasionally for breakfast, lunch and dinner but also enjoyed the very well equipped kitchen.

Tanya was thee absolute best ,a perfect host ,very helpful aswell as her helper ,the place was easy to find and I must say the pictures don’t do it any justice it’s a beautiful place clean and the kitchen has everything we needed for our stay ,the pool kept the kids busy as it was so hot ,she even gave us an extra day 🌸I must say she was one of the kindest individuals that have ever hosted me ,I appreciate all she did for myself and my family ..

We loved our stay. Really nice and spacious apartment that has everything you will need. Quiet area with nice supermarkets close by. Will come back when we have the chance to.

This Air BnB completely met and exceeded my expectations. Not only was it conveniently located and VERY walkable to Sunset Beach, groceries, restaurants etc, the house was fantastic and Doris was simply amazing. There were no issues and was fantastic with response on questions, checking in on us, and responding super fast. This is definitely a place that I would recommend and happy to stay at time and time again when travelling to Cape Town. Simply Fantastic!!!

An amazing stay with large social spaces both indoors and outdoors. The pool was appreciated by everyone and the opportunity to have our own space. Friendly neighborhood with lots of wine yards nearby. Looking forward to next time!

I had a fabulous solo trip at Karin’s place. I felt safe and comfortable. The home is cool in summer so that was lovely, and I very much enjoyed the peace and tranquility on my farm walks. Karin is a kind and courteous host. Highly recommend!!
