Our stay at Louise’s place was amazing, the flat is even better than on the pictures. The terrace is really nice with the hammock. We loved the bicycles to visit the island, this was the best way to move around and very kindly loaned by Louise. We wish we had stayed longer!

Stop looking and book this! Safe, private and peaceful. We loved our stay here and were sad to leave. It is even better than the photos. The jungle setting was so peaceful and had so much wildlife, which thrilled our family. The hosts are great communicators and attentive. No issues with directions or check-in. All rules are reasonable and easy to follow. Location felt safe and secure. We had rented a car and the location was absolutely perfect for all the activities on our itinerary. Cenotes, beach, snorkeling, restaurants and stores just a short trip away. This Airbnb was exactly what we were looking for and did not disappoint. Would definitely stay again!

Ileana met us on arrival, responded promptly and the house was just what we expected. Near good restaurants, and easy walking distance to strip. Always felt safe and it was quiet.

What a delightful stay! We booked this so we could be close to the airport. The host met us at the gate and gave us a quick tour. Once we settled in, we went for a walk to one of the restaurants the host recommended (I second their recommendation!). A 5-10 minute walk from this home are a bunch of shops and street food. It is clearly popular with the locals, and we were the only tourists in sight. The home is so charming. It had all of the space and amenities we needed, and so many thoughtful touches. We spent hours on the terrace with a glass of wine in the evening and coffee in the morning. Although it is a guest house on the property with the main house, we never saw another person the entire time. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a pleasant one-week stay. David and wife are friendly, helpful, and accomodating. Groceries, pharmacy, fruit and vegetable markets, and restaurants are all within short walking distance. Always felt safe in the house and neighborhood. The home is is described and we would gladly rent again.

We had a wonderful stay at Flor's place. The place is small but very charming and it's perfect for 1 or 2 people. The glass ceiling really gives it a unique feel. What really shines are the 3 amazing terraces with all kinds of plant life. A lot of thought and sweat equity was put in to create such a fine and peaceful place. The dipping pool is an added bonus after a day of walking around in the Merida heat. One caveat: the spiral staircase requires that you are mobile and not too wide. The location is a 5-minute walk from the Santiago Market and 12-15 minutes from Santa Lucia Park or Plaza Grande. As for hosting, Flor was very helpful and quick to answer all messages we sent and in person, she is truly a delightful person and her family is as well. Our conversations with Flor were always a pleasure. She is the kind of person that you would want to have as a friend. Additionally, she has a fantastic eye for design as can be seen by the way she decorates both inside and out.

All has been super easy with Alejandrina. You can't imagine such a place on the street. It's really green. The end of the street on which the accommodation is located is not necessarily reassuring at first, especially when you are walking. However, we can see that we are really a 10 minute walk to the San Bernardino Monastery and the beautiful Rue La Calzada de los Frailes. Despite the high number of dogs in this area, the nights were very quiet, we slept very well!

Nancy was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and generous with her spectacular home. Our casita had all the little and big extras to make us completely comfortable. We were combining relaxing and working remotely and had excellent wifi speeds and the ability to take a break and swim some laps in her 25 meter pool! Nancy is so generous with her space— it almost felt like we had the whole gorgeous property to ourselves!! And she introduced us to a local Mayan liqueur that we now love — thank you for everything, Nancy!!!!

The place was just like the pictures, they had everything for a pleasant stay, Nicolle and her husband took care of us in a very nice way. We would definitely come back.

A very nice, cozy and quiet place. It is not in the center of Cancun but there is very easy access to get anywhere, business is nearby to buy food. Jose was very attentive and friendly and explained how to move within the city. The dogs are very friendly and playful. We would stay here again.

Pino and his family were welcoming and very helpful. His place is walking distance to centro and other parks, which is lovely. There are a lot of amenities nearby and if you’re working, there’s a little table area in the room to set up a laptop.

Had a wonderful stay. Because we were delayed more than 3 hours, we didn't arrive at Miquel's house until around 1.30 am at night. We found it very annoying but Miguel showed understanding and was not at all difficult about it. We slept well and the next morning we were greeted by 2 cute dogs.

It was a super good stay, the place is very nice and tidy, I would return there without hesitation and it has many things nearby, everything was perfect

One of the best Airbnb finds yet! This place was perfect. It was comfy, cool, quiet yet had the bonus of a great restaurant and bar on the property. The people were so nice and welcoming. And helpful! We will absolutely come back and recommend it to everyone we know. Ideal north island location. If you’re new to the area and driving after dark in a golf cart, you’ll think you’re driving toward oblivion and never going to find it. But you will… google maps has it. And, once you find it, it will feel like home. Do yourself a favor and book here!

We spent 2 nights in this lovely property and it was a very comfortable and relaxing stay! Adriana is kind and responsive and made us feel at home immediately. Lots of privacy and very peaceful. We were able to walk to loca tiendas and restaurants easily. We absolutely plan to g back!

This property is an absolute gem. Nestled at the end of the lane, this oasis is a paradise. From the pool, rooftop patio to the onsite Cenote this is truly a one of a kind stay. Host’s attention to detail is impeccable, with the fridge stocked with handy staples and fresh fruit on the counter which we really appreciated. The suite was immaculately clean and so well appointed. Comfortable and stylish, we felt right at home. Sophia and Ryan were lovely hosts with local recommendations that we took advantage of and really made our trip memorable. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in the Akumal area.

Casa Tuch was a haven of style and tranquility for our stay in Merida. After walking around Merida and exploring the sites surrounding it it was a pleasure to come back and sunbathe on the rooftop and swim in the pool. For anyone reading this the bar at Hostel Barrio Vivo has fantastic cocktails, La Ermita Cantina is an entertaining locals bar (Mezcalitas are lethal), Organico bar de cafe is good for breakfast and, finally, we had some good evenings at Bacchus Wine Bar (Centro area) with live music and songs with great hosts (wines by the glass and cheese/meat sharing boards). Please go to Uxmal - breathtaking and quiet.

We stay at a lot of Airbnb’s and very few of them stand out as Hacienda Xcaret. The owners father lives onsite and was incredibly gracious and kind, always responsive to our many questions and even offered to grab us supplies when he ran to town for himself. There are very limited options for dining nearby so prepare to purchase groceries so you don’t find yourself a hangry mama on Sunday morning when you realize the only breakfast spot nearby is closed! We wouldhave been in quite a bind but Skip offered to allow me to raid his fridge and the eggs and bacon he provided saved this mamas day! It is quite far from pretty much everything, but that was exactly what we wanted. Walking distance to the park that we attended was a huge plus. The grounds are absolutely incredible and you can see the love and care that has been put into their design. I do wish we had decided to rent a car to be able to explore more of the area, but we were perfectly happy to spend our time enjoying the property.
