Vanessa was such a warm and welcoming host. Her air bnb was so fresh and bright feeling, it helped us feel comfortable and right at home. It felt very private and had beautiful views of the surrounding forest, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Vanessa was very kind and responsive, and made sure we felt comfortable during our stay.

the host is very friendly and the place is private and quite, suitable for stay, but not suitable for cooking, no cover for a single small pan.

Clean and comfortable property in a beautiful location. I enjoyed my stay at Puppet Inn. The rooms were exactly as described and pictured in the listing. The property was very clean and orderly. All of the Pinocchio and Disney theming was fun. I appreciated the guest guide with instructions for things around the home, plus a ton of recommendations for local businesses, restaurants and activities. Located close to the town and very convenient for Ray’s woodworking class. Thank you Ray and Marisa for a great stay!

Good clean place in a central area

Good stay for the price, I would stay again. Nice quiet dead end street. Beautiful oak trees. Enjoyed walking in the park. Large dining hall with computer desk. Close to town, but still quiet. There’s 2 park gates across the street, one in each direction. But beware of the many large dogs often off leash inside the park. I appreciated not having an attached kitchen to the room, it made the room extra quiet (mini fridges buzzing in hotel rooms can be loud). I’m autistic and my nervous system could actually rest here. Soft bed. It is community living and sound travels, it was minimal but sometimes temporarily annoying. Some furniture was worn down but adequately covered. For women staying here: there are no deadbolts or security locks aside from the keypad, and the room door to the hallway opens outwards so an extra hotel security lock won’t work here.

This is a beautiful place to stay and I would say better than expected. Everything was very clean, the furnishings were beautiful and relaxing... and there was fruit, scones and croissants waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived. The bed and bedding was very comfortable upstairs with a cute kitchen and dinette downstairs. Bri met us at the door when we arrived to give us the key. My best friend and I travel together and enjoy trying out new places. I highly recommend staying here :)

It's rare that an airbnb is even nicer in person than in the photos, but that was true for Merry's place. My girlfriend and I stayed for a weekend getaway and we absolutely loved it. Merry was a wonderful host. She made check in easy (she even gave us early check in without us asking and at no cost), gave us local recommendations, and was very friendly. Her place is beautiful, and it's clear she's put a lot of thought in it and takes pride in it. We immediately felt at home, and enjoyed the wonderful views (it's a 5 minute walk to downtown Nevada City, but the airbnb is on the second floor and you look out the windows and see lots of trees so it feels like you're in the forest). We will definitely stay again.

The spot is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. Do bring so close to the heart of town, it is also peaceful and fairly quiet. A great location. Bonnie was friendly and helpful and we loved our stay.

Our three-night stay at this Airbnb was simply incredible. The hosts: Joann and Victor were incredibly friendly and fun, making us feel right at home. The rooms, furniture and surroundings were impeccably clean, way way better than the pictures on the listing. We even had lunch together, adding a personal touch to the experience. You can barbecue or bon fire. Every room was thoughtfully decorated, reflecting the host's impeccable taste and attention to aesthetics. We enjoyed river rafting on the American River, Gold Rush museum in Coloma, Gambling in Red Hawk Casino which is just 10 minutes away and Exploring the charming downtown area. Heads up: this place has 4 beds but all single ones, so it might not be ideal for couples unless they’re as small as us to fit in one. Overall, this Airbnb provided an amazing experience, thanks to the exceptional hosts Victor and Joann and their lovely home. I highly recommend it for an unforgettable stay.

This location cannot be beat. The space has everything you need to be cozy, and Lee Ann is a responsive and informative host. The space is bigger than the photos but I will say lacks many kitchen tools, so if you need something (other than plates, bowls, knives, etc.) specific be sure to pack it!

Staying with Danny & Joanie was like staying with old friends. Communication was quick, clear, friendly & welcoming. Close to town feeling worlds away. Their place was as described. The pictures cannot encompass the serenity or breathtaking beauty of the panoramic views from the large deck. The swimming hole was absolutely amazing! They had numerous sitting areas by the water & it was exquisitely peaceful. The water was so refreshing on a warm summer day & the waterfalls & pools were simply gorgeous. That swim was certainly one of the highlights of our journey, as was meeting Danny & Joanie. They were so kind & thoughtful, making sure all our needs were met without ever being intrusive. The bed & couch were comfy. The kitchen & bathroom had all the essentials along with many little touches like flashlights by each bedside. We enjoyed meals out on the expansive deck. We left refreshed & feeling we had 2 new, wonderful friends. We highly recommend their place for a comfy & relaxing stay.

Mike is really what makes this place so special. He is the most accommodating host I have ever worked with and I have been using AirBnB for almost 10 years now. If you need anything, he really wants to make sure you have your needs met. The carpet is really soft. The patio area with fake grass is great for the dogs to run around in while still being able to keep an eye on them. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans. There was only 1 knife and no cutting board, but I'm sure had I asked for more he would have grabbed me some from the main house or went and bought some. The washer and dryer he has are AMAZING! I have never used such an efficient and good-sized w/d. His place really has everything you'd need for an extended stay. I will say, it's maybe not the best decorated or super spotlessly, sparkly clean and updated. However, everything worked out for us during our stay and I would absolutely stay here again. Mike is such a great host!

Chris and Leigh were really hospitable. The house was very clean and comfortable. I can say that it was the most peaceful time we had. I definitely recommend it. Thank you very much Chris and Leigh for your service and generosity.

This home was a fantastic place to stay, clean, well-appointed, and full of charm. The bed was especially cozy, making it easy to relax after a full day out. While parking took a little extra effort, the unbeatable location made it well worth it. I’d gladly return!
