Minsyuku IZUTSUYA

GabrielRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a great time at Izutsuya. Truly beautiful place, very well kept and tastefully designed, with an amazing view. Host is great, super nice and attentive. We were very pleased to get to meet her. Food was delicious , and host prepared according to our request (vegetarian). I recommend very much.

Kyotan no Kura [with separate building access bath and sauna]

WakanaRating, 5 stars11 months ago
My time at the inn in the warehouse was a good memory of my trip to Tango. The futon was comfortable to sleep on, the bathroom in the separate building was very clean, and we had a pleasant stay for two days. Thank you!

Nana has gone above and beyond to make my trip a really pleasant one! She invited me to an izakaya for her friend’s birthday - they were all lovely, she recommended different things to do in and out of the town, the first day I arrived there was a really heavy downpour and as she was 2 minutes drive away she came picked me up from the station, I felt right at home straight away, it has been probably the best place I have visited and stayed so far! I shall definitely come and stay again when I return to Japan in the future 10/10 5stars, her English is very very good and she has a very good taste in music too!

Jikyo’s place felt very homely and it is the perfect spot if you want to experience the countryside of kyoto. He was also willing to go out of the way to accommodate us by picking us up from the train station personally!

This was such a cosy stay! We really enjoyed the tatami mats and traditional interior furniture. The hosts were so lovely, they picked us up by car from the train station, dropped us off at the convenience store to pick up some groceries and introduced the area to us :)

i wanted to visit the village Ine and Miyazu was the closest village with affordable accommodation for my budget. i booked with guesthouse KUN and am very happy i did so . Tomiko and her daughter Naho were from start to end very hospitable and kind. it was snowing very much and cold days, i wasn't really prepared for the winter, but the warm showers and warm bed made me feel good and cosy. the room was big and typical tatami room. bed was comfortable coffee and tea and snacks were available the living room had a japanese kotatsu table wich kept me cosy warm in the evenings the bathroom is downstairs, and has a bath and everything you need. i would love to come back in the spring or summer time one day! there is much to see in the neighbouring towns. stunning views and nice walks. thank you guesthouse KUN for being a wonderful host! see you again some day
