Lake house vacation rentals in Youghiogheny River

Jesse’s place was absolutely perfect! The location right on the water made for stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. We were able to fish just steps from the house, which was a huge bonus, and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day outside. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up for a relaxing getaway. Jesse also provided some great local recommendations that really helped us make the most of our trip. Can’t wait to come back!

Great location - walking distance from Wisp for skiing and tubing (though not easy with gear) and a short drive to the grocery store. This was our second stay at this property and we love how family friendly it is - the kids love the game room and climbing wall and it’s a good setup for multiple families.

Donald’s place was just as described. It is located right on the river and has some beautiful views. The house is an older house, but it is well kept. It was definitely a neat little place to stay and we enjoyed it very much. Donald was very responsive and answered any questions we had. Donald and Valerie were both very helpful. We will definitely be staying again when we’re in the area.

Having several separate apartments and a main house instead of one big house was very helpful. We had 12 people, ages 6-84. Together time was great, and we also had plenty of room to spread out for quiet times as needed. We were there for Thanksgiving weekend and it was perfect. The apartment kitchens made our meal prep go smoothly. We had everything we needed. Diana was a wonderful hostess and sent notices about local events. Some of us visited Falling Water. The location is convenient to many outdoor activities like bike trails, kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, but it was too cold for us to do any of that this time. I would definitely rent again. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Confluence is a cute little town with a coffee shop, ice cream shop, a nice bar, a train (earplugs provided for sleeping), a huge Dollar General for food and anything you might need to pick up. The property is located right on the river and you see the confluence of the rivers.

We had a wonderful stay! We had a relaxing time. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hot tub/jacuzzi was a lovely touch!

Shirin’s place was nice and matched the description. It had what we expected. Shirin is a great host, always responsive. We would love to go back again!

This is the perfect place to stay on a family bike trip. We had a relaxing stay at the house and were able to easily access bike trails from its river location. We would stay again!

Miriam's place was the perfect location for our family's weekend getaway - right next to the GAP bike trail and driving distance to Ohiopyle State Park. Her place was exactly as described, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and her instructions were clear. We had no issues with check in or with the stay at all. Our family enjoyed the TV set-up, the fully stocked kitchen, and the board games when we were relaxing after our days of hiking and biking. The Dollar General across the street was really convenient for snacks and toiletries. Loved seeing the sun rising over the mountains in the morning and the bright stars at night.

Chelsea’s cottage was absolutely perfect for our quick ski getaway weekend to Deep Creek! We especially appreciated how clean things were at arrival, and how well set-up the place was for our three small girls. They loved the bunk beds and having a few kids’ books around was a great addition to bedtime. Chelsea was responsive and welcoming. All around, a great experience!

As a former resident of the area, when I travel back to visit family, I like to find a place that has some privacy and also the amenities that I want. Andrew's house checked all of the boxes. The location is private yet close to activities and the lake. The house was very clean and although I did not use the kitchen, it was stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans for cooking a meal for a night in. I had a problem finding the Wifi password in my messages (my fault, it was sent to me earlier) and when I reached out to get it, the response came back within minutes. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Overall, this property is fantastic. Had everything you would need for the most part. Host a as very responsive and kind. Tons of room for big groups and very spacious. Only major concern we had there was around the oven smelling like gas during the use of the appliance - which the host was looking into fixing for the next guest.

Perfect ski-in ski-out on down under trail. Not a good ski in ski out for beginners. Beautiful views from all the decks. Functional well stocked kitchen. Great place for fuzzy friends. Solid gates around the kitchen. Very steep steps to loft bedroom.

The cozy cottage was a wonderful stay! There was a light rain and big chill our entire visit that kept us off the trails. Thankfully the indoor fireplace and hot tub were there to keep us entertained at home. The kitchen was perfect for cooking together and the bath tub was almost as nice as the hot tub. Will have to return to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and explore the beautiful neighborhood!

The location is a short drive away from the Deep Creek activities. This can be a bonus if you were looking for a more nature based stay or a con if you wanted to be more in the mix. The house has the right amenities to enjoy the outdoors and is spacious. The kitchen is bigger than expected and the grills were great. The basement was a bit damp and the games were all well loved but honestly it wasn't a big deal. You can take peaceful walks to access water. Had a great time and this house was exactly as advertised.

Dang’s place quickly became our second home! Not only is his place at the heart of the nature, Dang also is a great host. He’s proactive and communicates really well.

Amazing place with an amazing view! Me and my group had a blast! Located right across Wisp Resort, we were able to walk right over in a matter of minutes. The view of the slopes in the morning/evening was beautiful. The house was spacious, clean, comfy & packed with amenities. The hot tub was clean and easy to get to and use. Overall 10/10

Our experience was wonderful. My daughters, S-I-Ls, and grandsons immensely enjoyed the indoor pool, arcade games and multiple large screen TVs, as well as the many recreational activities in the Deep Creek Area. This house was the best provisioned rental either I or my daughters’ families have ever stayed in, especially the kitchen with a full complement of utensils, spices, coffee pods, etc. as well as a S’mores gift basket. There were 13 of us and there was never a crowded moment. We all highly recommend this property for family vacations.

The Rockwell was beautiful home. We had a wonderful weekend. Spacious, spotless, comfortable with beautiful decor. The host was very responsive and flexible. Can't wait to return.

This house is truly amazing. I can’t explain how helpful the hosts have been. Everything was truly perfect and at your convenience. I really appreciated all the help and support I received from the management. If you’re going to deep creek I 100 % recommend this place.

Our group absolutely loved staying at Eagle's Nest. It was tidy and clean and had a great layout and space for everyone. We especially appreciated the multiple tables and large, well-stocked kitchen. The hot tub was wonderful, and the view out the large windows and from the back deck were gorgeous. Finding the trash was a bit tricky because of the directions; for future guests, note that the driveway refers to the road that all the nearby houses are on, not the individual driveway for Eagle's Nest. We had a great stay and would return!

Absolutely loved my stay at Timber Rock. The host was incredibly responsive and gave great tips for local hiking. The home was so clean that it felt brand new (like we were the first to stay in it). Great space, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Would love to come back for a visit. Thank you!!
