Vacation rentals with breakfast in Yoshino River

Aya and Kou were amazing hosts, super friendly and attentive. They went out of their way to help me get in touch with a Japanese tour company to book a white-water rafting trip for the next day. Aya also shared stories about her travels to the U.S., which was really interesting. I loved staying in a traditional Japanese house, and the dinner they made was absolutely delicious. Big thanks to Aya and Kou for their wonderful hospitality!

We spent 2 days on the island on our family trip trough Japan. After 2 weeks travelling big cities, it was a treat to stay in this beautiful and spacious beach house, with our own rooms and close to nature. Rika was a great and very helpful host and fulfilled all our wishes. She even brought us beer from Takamatsu. Be sure to try the outdoor pizza oven. Rika, thank you so much for hosting us.

It was very nice to have a full breakfast service.I stayed with 6 adult men, but I was able to prepare enough breakfast.

Really amazing host and communicative throughout. The home itself was incredibly clean and homey.

I booked this accommodation for my family and husband. There were three elderly people in our group. Shinta provided excellent service—he kindly offered to pick us up at the station, and on our departure day, he also helped carry all of our luggage to the station. The room was large and spacious, accommodating three families (5 people) comfortably. The bathroom was clean, and there was a washing machine available. However, the kitchen equipment only included a microwave, so it might be a bit inconvenient for those who wish to cook their own meals. The distance from the station to the accommodation is short, and it doesn’t take long to get there. On the way back to the house, you’ll pass by the Aeon Mall, where you can conveniently buy food from the supermarket. Additionally, there is a Don Quijote (Donki) store along the way, where you can purchase souvenirs to take home.

Special experience with the host making food especially for us. Super sweet lady and a good cook. Super attentive to our needs and very interesting to talk with. Wonderful experience. Small cozy place with little spinach field around home. Really enjoyed the stay

Amazing spot close to the hubbub of Omishima. Atsuko was incredibly helpful with helping me locate her place after some maps giving me the wrong locagtion, and even picked me up! She drove me the next day to catch my local bus on time! So thankful for her sweet hospitality, and would totally recommend this gem of a place to solo female travelers, bikers passing through, and everyone in between.

We had a lovely stay at Yumi and Tadao. They are great hosts, their house is beautiful and welcoming. They helped us with information regarding traveling to Naoshima and restaurant recommendations and reservations. Thank you

There are two rooms with two single beds, but there were no guests other than us on the day of the stay, so I was able to use it privately. It was a wonderful experience to experience the extraordinary with a nicer pension than I could have imagined. We also had all the basic amenities such as pajamas, toothbrushes, hair dryers, etc., so it was a pretty good point to be able to go lightly. In the morning, you will wake up to the sound of birds, wake up to the sun, and the owner will provide you with a nice breakfast. By the way, it is located quite a bit up the hill, so I recommend going lightly. As you said, the carry case is not suitable for Onomichi sightseeing. This accommodation experience will make Onomichi sightseeing a nice touch! We'd love to have you back ^_^

Outstandingly the best place we have ever stayed. The location and setting are out of this world and the property is immaculate, but more than that, the hosts are the best. Mio & Sho are welcoming and top level hosts, who allowed us to share this beautiful home with them as well as their stories. Great people.

Wonderful gem with a great view on wonderful Onomichi. The host, Ouchi, is simply wonderful. And the breakfast with a view guarantees a perfect start to the day.

Megino is a very nice option if you prefer staying overnight in Megijima. Location is right in front of the sea where you can totally enjoy the view. It takes about 5mins walk from the pier which is acceptable. Communications with the host was smooth which made the check-in process easy. The host was also friendly and helpful to share different spots in Kanagawa. We also like the home vibe here so we feel comfortable staying in. Definitely recommend here for a stay in Megijima. :)

It’s the perfect place to enjoy breakfast overlooking a picturesque seaside sunrise. Satomi is so kind and a great host. The most difficult part of staying here is leaving in the morning!
