The place and the location are both fantastic. It is extremely good value for money compared with our other accommodation in Kyushu. The onsen is great. Beds are comfy. Place is warm. View is spectacular. Close to kurokawa onsen town. Close to ski fields. Easy access from beppu (with winter tyres) For access: In winter you need winter tyres to get to Kurosawa onsen. And the property is a bit higher up. we had heavy snowfall, so chains would be preferable for the driveway (but we parked 5min walk away and walked up instead). The highway to get to kurokawa onsen was closed unless you have winter tyres or chains. So it is necessary

We had a lot of airbies experience, but this facility was specially equipped with the owner's thoughtfulness, and we had a pleasant time. Appreciate

Rica’s cabin in the woods was fantastic for a peaceful getaway on our Kyushu road trip. The highlight is the private 2 person onsen outside! The cabin itself is cozy and had everything we needed. The setting can’t be beat with a view the beautiful forest and the sound of the nearby rushing river. Rica was also very responsive and helpful during our stay. Highly recommended!

It was the best place to stay ever.My wife and sons aged 6 and 10 loved it.As soon as I parked my car in the parking lot, I saw a welcome board with our name on it, and my heart was refreshed, and when I opened the front door, it smelled of aromas and healed the tiredness of my long trip.BBQ area, drum washer and dryer to dry, upstairs living area, fluffy mattress in the spacious bedroom area, and everything was great.The house is probably old, but it has been beautifully renovated and this was my first experience with a nicely remodeled airbie.Making a room, a sense of wallpaper, and a relaxing bath.The renovation of this inn is not based on the convenience of the maker (how to make money), but based on the happiness of the people who stay (how to relax).I can't say enough.This inn is a great place to stay.

Impeccable stay, welcoming and responsive host, studio with a lot of space, fully equipped, very well located close to Kokubu station and many restaurants and shops. What more could you ask for? I would 100% recommend, don't hesitate!

We had a BBQ, but the neighbors and the hosts were also kind, friendly, and pleasant to have a pleasant stay.There were also cherry blossoms in the garden, so I was able to have a BBQ while looking at the cherry blossoms, so it was great. The room was also very clean and comfortable. It is also easy to go to tourist destinations such as San Messe, Udo Jingu Shrine, and Aoshima, and I think it is a good place for sightseeing. I would definitely use it again!Thank you very much.

This is a fabulous luxury stay. The space has been outfitted with the highest attention to detail. The experience is marvellous - Victoria can take you on a tour of the temple and give a bit of her husband’s family history. It was a little tricky to find initially (buy putting the temple in as the destination put us on the right track) and Victoria was in constant communication. It is within very close proximity to the Takachiho Gorge and a wealth of natural beauty. If you just want to chill the area is rural and very peaceful. We had the first night to ourselves and then shared with a very respectful group from Taiwan. Can thoroughly recommend.
