Lorette’s place is a tiny slice of heaven. I highly recommend staying here. The house is older but that’s what makes it so wonderful and have such great charm. The house was on a dead end which made it incredibly private and quiet. We were lucky enough to see a beautiful, bright rainbow and we’re treated to our very first time seeing the northern lights!! Rachel, Lorette’s sister was extremely friendly and helpful and they are both there for you if you need anything very responsive. I have to say it again I highly highly recommend staying here and I will definitely be back. If you have children she had such a wonderful stocked location of toys, coloring books sidewalk chalk and for adults plenty of movies and games and crossword puzzles . The backyard was my favorite with the huge deck and the view of the field and path to the water with the beautiful pine trees at the end. I enjoyed every morning with my tea and the birds thank you so much, Lorette!!

I had a truly wonderful experience at this property. The home itself was absolutely beautiful, tastefully designed, clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We had a struggle with the mortgage company for a home that had purchased near Yarmouth, but this made the hassles easier to deal with and it was a great location to get out and meet our new neighbors

My family had an excellent stay at Kelly’s Airbnb. It was clean, quiet, cozy, and warm. They left wonderful local recommendations and Kelly was friendly and accommodating. Would love to stay again! Highly recommend staying at this Airbnb!

Andrea was easy to communicate with, accommodating and pleasant. Walking distant to beautiful Mavillette Beach. Neighbors were friendly and welcoming.

We really enjoyed our stay in Mark and Beatrice’s farmhouse. The yard is incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and really quiet. We enjoyed seeing wild turkey and deer walk through the yard. The bathrooms were renovated and the shower worked well. It was nice to have the washer and dryer available. Mark was kind and responsive. We enjoyed Saturday breakfast from Tunk Joy, and the seafood chowder from Chipman’s nearby. We had a great time and comfortable stay here.

Amazing place to stay. We visited for a family wedding. The house was tucked away from busy areas. It was perfect!

Loved everything. Hope to return with my family some day soon! Way too many positives to mention. The location is perfectly and authentically Maine, plus the views can't be beat! Plenty of games, activities, room to roam and you're super close to a more secluded portion of Acadia Nat'l Park for more exploring and incredible views. You're also within an hour's drive to Jasper Beach, which has now made it to my "must do while in Maine" list. Honestly, I can't say enough about the town, this property, and the host. Rebekah, you can tell, takes much pride in this place and delights in sharing it with others. I'm glad about that because, she's right, it is very special!

We enjoyed our stay at Ashleys's home. It is a beautiful, peaceful and lovely location, with great proximity to Acadia National Park, Winter Harbor and the Schoodic Institute. Our family enjoyed watching the lobster boats in the morning and noodling around the peninsula. It was a very comfortable space, with a well stocked kitchen and dining area.

This was a beautiful peaceful setting in a great location to access Acadia National Park. The cabin was very comfortable with everything we needed. Shasta was a terrific host and communicated in an extremely timely manner when we had questions. The swing out on the lake and the second floor outdoor deck were great to enjoy after getting back from a long day. The lake itself was pristine and had a gorgeous fall foliage backdrop. If nature is your thing, but with modern amenities, this is your place to stay.

The place was nicely decorated and peaceful, the fireplace was awesome, the full kitchen easy to use, the directions for the place and local recommendations was wonderful, and the host communicates promptly and with great effort to make sure to get the information needed. The washer and dryer are such a nice feature and work well! Control of the indoor temperature took some time to figure out for each floor and the outside fluctuating temperature didn't help, and you can hear each other's rooms at times, these are very minor things and can be dealt with. the local stores and restaurants do close by 8pm local time so factor that into your trip. The place overall was just what was needed for the weekend trip! the place is sweet and I would recommend others to stay there!

Great cottage on the lake, easy check in, very peaceful.

This was a great stay and we hope to be back. The weather was less than favorable but it didn't matter, we loved staying here. Beautiful location and an amazing home. It had everything we needed!

A lovely place in a beautiful seaside hosted by such warm hearts! Stayed here for one night. Lots of things to do, nature to enjoy on the island. Brandon and Max are super helpful and cater to every need. They built this place from scratch and what is even more loving is that it’s in memory of Brandon’s mom. I hope this sweet place, like a pearl will be found by more people. Will definitely come back again in summer or autumn:))

Our stay was amazing and we have no complaints. We would definitely book this spot again! Check in and check out were simple and the host was quick to respond. All of the rooms in the house are bright with natural light and there is a view of the ocean from the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed and a big fridge. The gate to barricade the stairs was very handy to keep the children safe. The yard was well kept and included various gardens. Lots of space both inside and out. You can walk down the road to the ocean in about ten minutes. Thank you for a great week!

Beautiful location, private, pristine, peaceful. Lots of space, well set up for water activities, fireside chats, and relaxing the day away. The sauna is a wonderful addition. Well stocked with lots of towels and firewood, great layout with an open kitchen and comfortable living room.

We enjoyed our time at Castaway Ocean Lodge. The location is very peaceful and scenic. We wanted to escape from the city and relax while taking in the ocean views- the deck was a perfect place to hangout. We had already been to the area before, so we knew that most of our time would be spent at the cottage. It had everything we needed. Loads of board games, all cooking necessities and even some kayaks! We explored Crescent beach in Lockeport and drove down to Carter’s Beach for the day (well worth it). Thanks for having us!

Super great location by the lake with a small sandy beach, rowboat and canoes. Great sunrise. Perfect for relaxing, enjoying the lake, the tranquility and the campfire in the evening. Very nice, friendly, prompt and competent communication with Jochen, Lynette and Kevin.

awesome view of the lake, had a wicked time with family and friends enjoying the great outdoors and lakeside cottage lifestyle. the deck was basically right on the water which was very cool

This was our second stay at Diane and Gary's place, and once again it did not disappoint! We love the tranquility, privacy and comforts that their place has to offer. Nothing liking sitting in the hot tub and looking up at the stars! Their home has all the creature comforts for a great stay!

For some places on earth there just doesn’t seem to be the proper words to describe its beauty and the way it makes you feel. This is one of those places for me, being there allows my body to relax and my mind to quiet. This was our second time staying at Driftwood by the bay, it is medicine for the soul.
