Becky’s property was a great place to spend our weekend. The home was easy to find and check into. The home had a great backyard patio and very large hot tub. The game room in garage was a great way to kill some time. The home had everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, and everything else you could think of. Becky was super friendly the whole time. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Steve & Peggy's home in Matawa was neat, clean and uncluttered and easy to settle into. The three bedrooms are spacious, there's a larger central area open to the kitchen. Easy to park in the garage. A nice view of the river from the home. We didn't cook but the coffee pot was perfect! A short walk away is access to the Priest Rapids Recreation Area. There is a level trail along the river. We walked this both days we were there. Nice walk, birding opportunity and easy exercise. If you go north, the trail is paved. Going south the trail becomes gravel. Both directions are good. Communication was great, emails questions were answered promptly, and we had check in information a few days ahead. We left a pair of shoes, and Steve and Peggy have been great arranging a way for us to pick them up. Very kind and easily arranged. We would be happy to stay here again and recommend this listing. Had an amazing time staying here for a winter trip. The living space/kitchen setup was amazing and feels very cozy. The view was amazing whether being in the cabin or outside on the deck and even in the hot tub. Would definitely love to book again in the summer and go on scenic hikes.
