Juan's place is excellent value for money. I spent the night here while travelling from Johannesburg down to the Cape, and it was exactly what I needed - cosy home with everything you need for a short stay, flexible self-checkin, and good internet. I would have been happy to have spent a number of extra days here. Shopping centres are within walking distance, with some restaurants and takeaway food outlets nearby. One of the best value-for-money Airbnbs that I have stayed at!

A wonderful spot if you are looking for a remote & peaceful but still very comfortable stay. We try and find out of the way spots that showcases the best of the beautiful SA countryside and Lindys place is certainly one of those. The home is very secluded and private with excellent finishings too. If you are an astronomy or star-gazing enthusiast then this is a highly recommended location as the nigh sky is unbelievably awesome here. Literally horizon to horizon...

What a lovely place and perfect for our overnight stay. Had everything we needed. Check in was easy, place was clean and tidy with comfortable beds. The host response and proactive.

What an absolute treat staying over at Jacqueline's. We arrived quite late and Jacqueline made to sure communicate with us regarding the road to their place and how best to be safe. The place itself was really quaint and comfortable, really great set up, amazing shower, very comfortable bed and we felt right at home. Our doggo lived playing with Boela, the resident Boerboel, he's such a gentle giant. Jaco and Jacqueline made us feel right at home and were extremely welcoming and friendly, we had a really great chat. We even left with a beautiful plant from their garden, can't wait to plant it. Was really a wonderful and comfortable stay. Wish we were there for longer to check out the town, had a really good time.

A very comfortable place to stop over on our way back to Joburg from the coast. Really appreciated the heating options (fireplace/aircon) on quite a freezing winter night in Bloem. Host is very friendly and we appreciated the nice welcome.

The accommodation was comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The views of the dam were breathtaking, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect getaway. Our hosts attentive, ensuring our stay was seamless. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore the area, this is ideal spot.

This was an unforgettable stay in many ways! First of all, the location. Yes, it is remote but you get so much in return. Peace, serenity and surrounded by stunning nature. The lodges (there are only 3) are clean and spacious with some really nice details and cosy interior. It does get quite warm during the nights in summer. To cool off we loved enjoying the plunge pool or the outdoor shower! But Sydney - who basically takes care of everything when you’re staying at the lodge - made our stay even better. He works hard, always with a big smile and so kind.

We came for a night on the way down to the cape… loved it so much that we came back for 2 nights a week later on our return to Pretoria, Hennie is more than a host - he is our friend and we can’t wait to come stay with him again … We will be back next year for sure! This house is so well-established that it welcomes you home straight away. If there’s a next time, I’m looking forward to wandering around the farm with my dogs and then coming home to thoughtful comfort.

This is a fantastic location, quiet and in the midst of nature. The rooms are spacious and clean. We opted for dinner and breakfast which was delicious! Highly recommended.
