We had a wonderful weekend in Scheel. The apartment is very cozily furnished and super equipped - high praise to the hosts. Communication was easy and fast. Everything is great and highly recommended. 😊👍🏼

It was quite easy to find, the host was very kind and met us around 20:30. The place itself was spotless clean and had everything that was listed. Additionally, the kitchen, bathroom and sauna were pristine cleaned. The glass in the bathroom was so clean for a moment we thought that were was no glass. Sauna was excellent and we even started a nice little fire one day. Very peaceful with allot of opportunity for hiking and nature. And very easy connection to Dusseldorf via the train with free parking at the train station in the small town. Would go back again without a doubt.

Communication worked great, it was missing bed linen within 15 minutes, it was submitted later. The host is very nice, the house was clean and matched the pictures. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

We chose this house because we wanted to meet as a family from all over Germany for the Carnival in Cologne. The house does not have the best location for this, but it was important to us that it is in the countryside, as we had a total of 4 dogs with us and the host had no objections. This was completely straightforward as was the further communication with him. We were also happy to accept the longer path with public transport. The kitchen was well equipped and the rooms were very nicely decorated and large. We all felt very comfortable and may come back next year if we want to hold another family reunion of this kind.

Great little apartment, easy transport links, close to a supermarket and whilst 100 meters from easy transport links very quiet in the evenings. Worth every €

An iconic home in a historic neighborhood Ralph and I stayed in the "Green House" from March 21-26. Since we ourselves are Airbnb hosts of a cottage in Tuscany, we know how much work it is to keep everything in good shape. Alexandra and her family have everything well organized and prepared. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back. An unconditional recommendation.

We stayed at Pia's chalet for a relaxing weekend and had a really great time. The house looks exactly the same as on the pictures, so it offers countless places to relax. The sauna & hot tub overlooking nature are also fantastic. We will definitely be back!

The beautiful old Benke house has an incredible charm and is richly, practically and comfortably furnished. The garden is idyllic and the quiet green surroundings invite you to take beautiful walks. The bus from Recklinghausen stops right in front of the property (but we didn't hear anything from the street). The contact with Benjamin was straightforward and warm. He answered all questions promptly and is very helpful. Our children also felt very comfortable. We didn't miss anything at our family reunion and we'd love to come back any time. Highly recommended!!

We used the accommodation for four with two children (12 and 9) as a central starting point for activities in the Ruhr area. Therefore, the location was especially important to us. With about 10 min. walk to the nearest train station, you can get everywhere very well. The apartment is not large, but well suited for a family for a few days. Otherwise, we particularly liked the great view through the balcony and window and the freely usable small swimming pool. All in all it was a nice time!

We spent some nice and quiet days with our dog Rudi during the turn of the year. The accommodation is very nicely located in the countryside, a small farm with cows is located nearby. There are beautiful opportunities for walking and hiking. Exactly the tranquility and seclusion we were looking for! Stefanie and her husband were also very friendly! Thank you for everything! We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime. We had a nice time in Engelshagen. You could do hikes from the apartment. We felt very comfortable and there was a basket, bowls and towels for our dog. In the kitchen there was also everything you need. We will be happy to come back :)

The four of us spent a weekend with Ralf and Alex and were completely satisfied. Communication with Alex was very straightforward. At arrival we were received in a very friendly manner. Alex suggested many excursion options and made brochures available to us. We were able to park in front of the house. The house itself offers many large rooms to stay. The table in the living area can be pulled out and used perfectly for board games. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The conservatory is a huge plus for the apartment. The garden with the unobstructed view directly of the nature behind the house (meadow and hill) is very beautiful. Here you could enjoy the peace and quiet very much

I stayed with my wife and two kids at Lotta's home for one month. We had a fantastic time, and from day one, we felt at home. It’s a comfortable and cozy place in a nice and calm area on the outskirts of Dusseldorf and near smaller towns close to the Rhine River. We highly recommend this place and Lotta as a host. She was always easy to reach and friendly.
