Lovely, homely cottage in a great location for exploring the rest of the Cotswolds. The Killingworth Castle (cosy local gastropub) is just a 5 min walk away from the property. A perfect base for a long weekend in the country.

We have had a wonderful week in The Shooting Lodge, the views were beautiful and it is set in a peaceful and tranquil spot, so we instantly relaxed. The lodge was equipped with everything we needed, the bedroom was lovely and comfortable and the bathroom was extremely clean and had a lovely shower with additional luxuries to make it even more enjoyable. Anthony and Julia were both very friendly and made us feel really welcomed. We have had a super holiday and we recommend this place for an ideal tranquil get away to relax.

Had an amazing valentines stay here with my partner. Clare was the perfect host and the barn was the perfect property for our stay. Very quaint, peaceful and secluded. With lovely views over the farmland and a short drive from some beautiful towns

We had the most perfect stay at this idyllic cottage! It’s full of charm, with every little detail thoughtfully done. The hot tub was a highlight, offering the perfect spot to unwind under the stars. The local pub was a short walk away, and we enjoyed some lovely evenings there. As a group of tired mums looking to escape, relax, and catch up on much-needed sleep, this cottage was exactly what we needed. The beds were incredibly comfy, and the bedding was so soft and luxurious. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

My husband, Chris and I thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in Horseshoe Cottage. The cottage was clean, tidy and well equipped. It was great to have an outdoor space to let our dogs out whenever they needed to. The bed was extremely comfortable and all the laundry was pristine. The kitchen was very well equipped and again, very clean. As soon as we walked inside it felt peaceful and welcoming.

Beautiful cottage that was perfect for our stay. Super clean, cosy and comfortable. Felt like home from home. Great walks from the doorstep, including one into Stow-on-the-Wold, a lovely picturesque market town with a good selection of independent cafes and shops. All in all, a lovely relaxing weekend.

We had an amazing weekend at Maxine's place, the cottage itself is beautiful and was absolutely spotless, Maxine provided very clear instructions for getting there and on arrival we found a lovely hamper from them. We also met John a few times too and he couldnt have been more welcoming and helpful, always asking how things were and offering suggestions if anything was needed. We would very highly recommend staying here and will almost certainly be coming back ourselves in the future. PS, they are also extremely dog friendly, we couldnt have asked for anything more

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

We had such a wonderful stay in Deer View Cottage. The cottage is beautiful, very cosy and comfortable. Everything about the cottage is perfect. The beds are comfortable, a great selection of glasses inc nice large wine glasses, lovely M&S crockery and lots of utensils. Blockley is a beautiful village with some wonderful local walks, with the rest of the Cotswolds close by. We fell in love with Dylesford Organic farm shop and had the most wonderful meal at The Bull in Charlbury. Michelle was very quick to respond during our stay and provided useful information leading up to our stay. Thank you Michelle and family for letting us stay in Deer View Cottage.

We needed somewhere convenient to visit some good gastro pubs and a location that catered for our dogs. This totally met our expectations. The communal garden at the back was perfect for our two golden retrievers. Everything was as stated.

Beautiful little bolt hole and great base for spending time in the Cotswolds. Lots of character, all the amenities you need and the most gorgeous log burner for cold nights in February. Judy was the best host, can’t recommend enough. Thank you we will most definitely be returning

Accommodation was spot on, ideal for our small group and the dog. Parking was also fine, was concerned at first as it was on street parking in he village but when we arrived there was plenty of space for us. Used the cottage as a base so didn't explore the immediate area that much but did wander round the village with the dog and it had a lovely feel to it. All in all, suited all of us for our weekend break.

The best things about this property are really how peaceful and quiet it is, whilst being surrounded by beautiful countryside. The house itself, whilst small, has everything you need. Very well thought out, with great little touches. Kind hosts. It was lovely sitting outside in the courtyard, reading with a coffee, whilst the sun was coming down and the owl swooping by.

we have just returned home from a wonderful stay, we truly had such an incredible time, we had some wonderful walks with the dogs, fully equipped kitchen made cooking for the family easy, comfortable spacious bedrooms. fantastic countryside position but still within reasonable proximity to local tourist sites. thankyou again.

We had a lovely few days in this beautiful cottage. Even though the weather was cold, the cottage was cosy. It had everything we needed for our stay and was perfectly located to explore the local area. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Mike gave excellent location instructions and could not have been more helpful to ensure my stay was as enjoyable as possible. He responded promptly to any questions I had. The cottage was cosy with good walks in both directions. The Jurassic Path is just down the road. I will return there in Spring to do more walking and visit nearby places of interest, such as Sudeley Castle and Canons Ashby.

Nick and Cindy's Lime Cottage was so thought through. Cozy and inviting and had all the amenities needed- Fully stocked kitchen for cooking, clear instructions, easy check in and out. Nick and Cindy was always at hand to answer any questions. Location was private and peaceful but very close to nearby towns- great for exploring Cotswold and great nearby hikes and rambles. Met very friendly locals in the town during our walks and visit to the community cafe/store. Would definitely stay again and would recommend for a lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage whilst visiting family in the area - it was the perfect place for our baby boy’s first stay away from home! The cottage was very clean, easy to find thanks to great insurrections from Annabel, and very comfortable. The photos don’t do it justice!
