Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Wiltshire

Ann is an amazing host, super responsive and she provided clear instructions for check-in, check-out and even has created a local guide. The property is very well equipped with everything you need, even things you might have forgotten to bring. The house has character and is a bit quirky, given the historical nature, but all bathrooms are modern, there are Alexas everywhere downstairs and the sun room is beautiful. The AGA stove needs some getting used to, but there is a normal stove top as well and instructions are provided. The sunroom is lush and the hot tub was amazing! We didn’t use the pool (out of season). All together: great find, great property and Ann is kind and responsive! 10/10 would recommend!

Great townhouse, in a perfect location. Within walking distance of all main attractions and hot tub a nice little extra.

We had a great time in the place. It was beautifully decorated. It had lovely amenities including the large kitchen, dining room and hot tub. It was a bit tricky to get into the venue when we got there as we got given the wrong code for the lockbox. There was a problem with the shower leaking through the ceiling too and it was pouring onto the living room rug.

Just what was needed to break the monotony of winter. Gorgeous setting, so quiet and tranquil and enough to do should you want. House was as described , perfect location to explore Cotswolds area. Great recommendation for Thai takeaway on our arrival day given the lateness ! Excellent food. The wood fired hot tub was a wonderful addition and clear instructions on how to start the fire and the wood burner inside also . Definitely would visit again. Rob and James were excellent hosts. We loved our stay in this stunning home! Two fab pubs just outside which had been recommended to us by the host, along with lots of other helpful tips. Parking wasn't too much of an issue for us, but be warned the village was quite crowded with tourists, even at this time of year. Didn't bother us too much but we weren't really expecting it! We loved the house and really loved that there were some logs left so that we could have a cosy fire in the log burner. Stairs are a bit of a death trap (this was to our amusement) but host had warned us about those so we were aware of what we were getting ourselves into! People with limited mobility would need to take this into account when booking. Really appreciated we were able to bring a dog too, and there were some lovely walks around the area, umbrellas and wellies were at the property which was also really helpful. Overall a really beautiful unique property, ideal for a cosy winter stay!

Lovely house - was perfect for a medium-sized group (8 adults and a few under-5s). The views over the balconies are lovely and crucially the balconies are west / southwest facing, meaning we got lots of sunshine unlike the properties on the other side of the lake. It was end of Feb 2025 and we were happily walking around in t-shirts and making full use of the hot tub! Overall it's a lovely house with great sized bedroom, nice bathrooms with showers etc. We had a private chef cater dinner one evening and he had plenty of space (and we had more than enough space at the table for the adults). Jan kindly left us a bottle of wine too which we put to good use. Around the lake there are walks you can do, a spa (access to which is included as part of the stay) which worked great with the kids (who loved the main swimming pool), a playground, tennis courts etc. Overall would highly recommend.

House was lovely. We spent Christmas week with multi generational family and it was perfect. Plenty of room and very comfortable. House was exactly as expected with lots of great amenities and tidy. We were able to prepare a full Christmas meal with everything there!. Lots of beautiful villages to explore nearby. Jan and Jamie were responsive and friendly and stopped by to make sure we were comfortable and settled. Definitely recommend.

We had such a fabulous weekend at Otter's Holt celebrating my brother's 50th. The house is beautiful with wonderful views and extremely well appointed -we had everything we needed. Lorraine was very responsive when we had some problems that we needed help with. We all loved the outdoor pools at the spa and the kids enjoyed hiring canoes to paddle across Howell's Mere. We hope to visit again.

Have just returned from a lovely relaxing weekend at Jan’s lodge. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and gorgeous property. Very good communications throughout. Would highly recommend

The accommodation was perfect for our family of 9, plenty of space, it was well appointed and there was a good choice of cooking utensils, pots and pans etc. Although we didn’t use the outside space much due to the weather the hot tub was great. The hosts were very responsive and sorted out a couple of minor issues swiftly.

The place matched and exceeded the description and photos. It was exceptionally clean upon our arrival and well decorated. There was an abundance of cutlery, utensils, dinnerware, etc. Management company were extremely communicative before and through-out. Would 100% recommend this house for future traveler's.

We had a great time during our stay! Spent two lovely evenings relaxing in the hot tub, after spending the days out exploring the Cotswolds. For foodie recommendations we can highly recommend the Sunday roast at The Bell in Sapperton, breakfast/brunch at Jack’s in Cirencester, and pizzas from The Stump! We had brilliant communication from James ahead of our stay and a super helpful guide which contains all the info you need from checking in, places to go, places to eat, and checking out. Highly recommend Squirrels Drey to any couple looking for a peaceful break away.

Just arrived home after a wonderful stay at this little lodge. Exactly as described in the listing/photos, and Tracey had even set out some little Christmas decorations to make it feel more festive and homely (as we were there for Christmas). The new park facilities (soft play & swimming pool) are FANTASTIC for kids, we were there with our 18 month old and he loved it, but there was loads for older children too. The shop on the site isn’t open between November & February but there’s a co-op a mile away, and we didn’t eat at the restaurant onsite because we went out to some nice local pubs, but it looked nice enough. The lodge is in a really nice position not really overlooked by anyone else, and felt very spacious & homely (with proper central heating too). The hot tub was also a winner! The kitchen is fully equipped and the TV has ALL the apps plus regular freeview TV channels too (I read an earlier review that said no normal TV but this must have been updated!).

We both had a lovely stay at Otter 4 lodge! We arrived a little earlier than the stated check in but Luke was on hand to let us in as the lodge was ready. The lodge was great and the hot tub was a fantastic extra for ultimate relaxation overlooking the pond. There are geese on the pond which can be a little noisy, but that is part of being in the countryside and we loved it and added something a little special to our stay. There is also a lovely pub a stones throw away (you can see this from the lodge) and is definitely worth a visit, the food was delicious! We didn't really leave the lodge except to go for a walk around the area. If you go right out of Hunters lodge there are beautiful nature reserves and we even spotted a Muntjac deer! There are also a few geocaches, if this is your thing. Definitely recommend Hunters moon for a relaxing break away. Thank you for having us :)

What a find! The Cabin is a truly magical place. It’s cosy and has everything you could need. David & Sara were great hosts and so friendly & helpful. Waking up in such a stunning place was wonderful. Sitting in bed with a cup of tea looking out into the woodland was amazing. We saw deer, woodpeckers and so many other birds. The outside bath is incredible and we were so lucky with the sunshine and clear nights. It really is a wonderful place. Thank you David & Sara!

Absolutely gorgeous property hidden away in the woodland. The photos do not do it justice, it is much larger than the photos make and super cosy ! The cabin is a short walk from where you will park 5-10 minutes but the walk is lovely and very easy to find. The host was really helpful and replied very fast to any questions and queries. We will be looking to book again in the next year. The photos do not do the property justice !

Beautiful surroundings and well maintained accommodation exactly as described plenty of room for young family all interactions with Tracey were prompt and informative there was no need to contact Tracy during out stay we had no problems The accommodation was clean, well equipped and cosy. There was only a short walk to the swimming pool and restaurant. Hot tub a real bonus . There were supermarkets 10 mins by car to stock up but a store on site Plenty for kids and adults to do Restaurant not too expensive Soft play, indoor pool and outdoor park facilities great Pool facilities were clean with plenty of family changing cubicles Outdoor pool and some activities were not available due to the timing of our stay we only stayed a weekend before the season started but looking at the season activities this site offers an amazing selection of activities for all ages. Lots to see locally if you were to stay longer All the staff were polite and helpful Would highly recommend.
