Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Wilmington

The house was very accommodating for my family. Plenty of room for 5 adults. Very close to restaurants and grocery store on the island. Thank you David for allowing us to stay.

Caleb's house was clean, comfy, and close to groceries, shops, and restaurants. The neighborhood is very walkable...much appreciated for our dogs. The fenced back yard was a bonus. The house is tastefully decorated, and the kitchen well stocked. We felt right at home, and would stay here again.

Great house with awesome backyard! The mattresses are super comfortable and the kitchen is stacked with useables for cooking and baking. The game room was also an incredible bonus for our trip with kids.

we will definitely be staying here again! The house was beautiful inside and out. The yard was full of live oak trees which created a feeling of privacy that most other houses lack. The house was stocked with things to use in case you forget something and you simply replace ot when you leave. My daughters loved the space and we all appreciated the short walk to the beach without cross traffic. The hose was super responsive on the couple of questions I had while there and they have a binder with local restaurant recommendations. The food was amazing at every place we tried!

Tony’s place was by far my favorite Air BnB location to date…It was pristine when we walked in the door…The neighborhood was quiet and very walkable …My 2 lil dogs loved the fenced in back yard. It was very centrally located to all the things we needed. Tony response to our questions was truly like his add says…he responds within 10 mins! I would by far recommend any of my friends and family to stay here when in town…Thanks for being a great host Tony!!

This rental was the best ever! The decor was outstanding and like a page from a House Beautiful magazine. The kitchen had everything you could need and more! Coffee lovers will be in heaven with the coffee bar and Cooks will be in love with the well -stocked spices as well as pots and pans. The bathrooms were lovely and we appreciated all the toiletries supplied. The front porch and backyard are a gem! Both are relaxing for sipping tea or having a meal. I look forward to returning to this rental when in the area! Thank you so much for all the care, love and thought that was put into this warm and inviting home!

Great location with just what you need for a few nights at the beach! It's only a few blocks from everything in CB but on a quiet residential street so you can get your rest. Easy parking right in front of the house too. The place is pretty basic but the point of going to the beach is to be outside anyway! It's the perfect place to come back to after tiring out the dogs at the state park or Freeman Park.

Great stay from starting line to finish. We loved the locality of the property. Everything is in walking distance. Would love to experience this property during spring and summer! Love the privacy.

Perfect place for a solo weekend away. The bed is super comfortable and the place has everything you need. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in town :)

Skipper was so kind, communicated quickly, and the place was perfect. It’s so close to the beach, a cute space with everything you need, and clean and cozy. It’s pet friendly which is a necessity for us. Unfortunately our dog was barking a lot one morning and the neighbors called Skipper to complain. Skipper was still so kind about it in the message and was understanding of our situation which otherwise would have made us anxious. Kindness goes such a long way. Highly recommend!!!

Better days is a great place to stay. It was a very clean and well kept condo with a nice view of surrounding houses. It's in a great location not too far from the carolina beach boardwalk. Michael was a great host and very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

Pros- -Clean, well equipped house -Close to beach, boardwalk and restaurants -In a nice, quiet neighborhood - Felt safe -Responsive, friendly host and manager -Golf carts available to rent -Reasonable check out requirements Cons- -Next door neighbor's yard and pool were gross (no fault of host/property and didn't directly impact our stay) -Dishwasher and washing machine are kind of loud -Blue golf cart's battery didn't last very long

We have stayed here many times and it’s always great! Short walk to the beach and spotlessly clean! Totally safe and quiet neighborhood with great restaurants. Very close to everything! We will be back!

Had an amazing Valentines weekend!! The view is spectacular, pictures do no justice! Super clean place and very peaceful atmosphere. Kitchen has all the equipment needed. Also had a lot a board games and outdoor activity stuff! Would definitely visit again!

Well, the “storm with no name” took over our weather but we still had a great time considering! The place is exactly as described. It’s extra nice being on an end unit btw 😁. We enjoyed the pool the most!

Robin’s place is a very comfortable environment for a beach get away. She is a great host and has good communication skills to ensure your stay is amazing.

Jan was an awesome host! The bed was one of the best weve had at an airbnb! The special touches of bathroom amenities and plenty of towels was a bonus. Having the water dispenser made our life easier. We ran into an unforseen circumstance at this rental out of anyones control and I have to say these were great hosts to have while running into a challenge. They were kind and helpful. Fantastic location. Highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay here and had a great time! it was my boyfriends first time in Southport and he was impressed. The location was a nice walk to downtown and you could walk along the water line. The beach at the condo was nice and provided great views of the sunrise. The hosts showed attention to detail and you could tell they thought of ways to elevate the experience! I would definitely return to this location!
