Vacation rentals in Whiteface Mountain

We rented Kristina's place for a hiking trip, and enjoyed it a lot. The surrounding area is beautiful, there's lots to do and we wished we could have stayed longer. The lodging was as described, the photos are accurate, and the views are STUNNING. Watching the weather over the mountain range out the big picture window was GREAT. The kitchen is large, and well furnished. The main dining room table is big enough to play board games, the hot tub is well maintained and easily held 4 adults, the deck is lovely. Beds were comfy. One minor issue, the shower in the en-suite bathroom wasn't working. We contacted Kristina and the owner was there within maybe 30-60 minutes to address the issue. He gave us a temporary solution and that worked fine for the long weekend. We had a great time and would stay again!

This cabin is terrific. We appreciated the hot tub and sauna. The area is gorgeous and close to whiteface. The kitchen is well appointed w kid and adult plates and cutlery. The cabin was very cozy and well insulated. Tip- get a bundle of firewood along the way for the sauna. The nearby Stewart’s was out.

We had a fantastic stay at in this remote getaway in the Adirondacks. The property was perfect for us and our dog, which plenty of space to explore and a cozy fireplace to come back to. The drive to Lake Placid is easy and scenic, and the host's recommendations for local spots were great. The host was also very personable and even stopped by to drop off cookies. Overall, a perfect retreat!

The home was spotless. We had a wonderful stay! It was so relaxing to enjoy the spaciousness, the warmth of the radiant heat floors, and the comfort of the well-furnished kitchen easy to move around in even if for three cooks. The layout of the home seems really thoughtful, with both the open kitchen and cozy TV/game area offering great options for different moods and activities. Having a cozy, warm bed is such a treat, especially after a day of activities. And it’s so nice when bathrooms are designed to be spacious and accommodating, especially with extra counter space and showers that work for everyone, regardless of height.

Had a great two night getaway! Very drivable to the Lake Placid area but not in the center of all the action. We especially liked that it was pet friendly! It was the perfect size and had just what we needed for our short stay. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area (and it’s a beautiful area, so maybe we’ll try a warmer season!).

Cynthia was very responsive and flexible with our situation and a death in the family. Her home was perfect for the 5 of us to stay in and be in the beautiful peaceful adirondack surroundings. Thank you so much Cynthia.

Beautiful, spacious, well located home in peaceful surroundings. Among the best we have stayed in near Whiteface Mountain. Host was very helpful and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend.

The photos do not accurately capture how pretty this place is. The home is thoughtfully and stylishly decorated, the beds are very comfortable, and the screened in porch is lovely! We had a wonderful time on Loon Lake and especially enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. There are no homes directly across the lake, and there is a lot of greenery on either side of the home. So the place feels very private. We had a minor issue during our stay, but Mary communicates efficiently and the issue was resolved satisfactorily. We would definitely consider booking this place again!
