We had a comfortable booking and check in process. The manager, Mr Iyappan, and the rest of the staff was extremely responsive once we go there and helped us out at short notice for things like food, bike rentals and transport multiple times over the course of our stay. The BnB and the hotel next door are very well-oiled operations - everyone is professional, courteous, and kind. The communication is top notch and the house is beautifully put together too. If I were to nitpick, the only minor inconvenience is that the two buildings are very close to each other and the sound seeps through into the BnB sometimes from the neighbouring building. But that’s mostly during peak kitchen hours when I think the staff next door has a lot to do. Barely noticeable otherwise. All in all, any thoughts or worries about the accommodation and the service were always in the background for us because we were able to trust that help would always be given. That was invaluable for us on a short trip.

I absolutely loved my stay at this beautifully designed penthouse in the heart of White Town. It felt like a home away from home, with a spacious layout, comfortable mattresses, and modern amenities like a fully stocked kitchen, reliable mesh Wi-Fi, and a washing machine. Each morning, Sumathi Amma would come by around 10 a.m. to tidy up, which made my stay even more comfortable and hassle-free. The location couldn’t be better - just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by decent restaurants and grocery options. Devasmita and her wonderful team (Gaurab) were always available and quick to respond, offering helpful local recommendations. Whether staying for a few days or a few weeks, I highly recommend this penthouse to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway. P.S - The private terrace adjacent to the living room just opens up the whole space and is really great for sitting down with your morning cup of joe :)

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and clean Airbnb in Pondicherry! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. The place felt incredibly secure, with locks for the gate as well. Definitely recommended for women solo travellers too. Our co-host, Pushpa, was an absolute sweetheart—so welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had a comfortable experience. The neighborhood is lively yet peaceful. I highly recommend visiting Pondy Local, a lovely shop below that showcases locally sourced products made by women and artisans from the area. Overall, a fantastic stay—I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pondicherry!

The natural ventilation and peaceful ambiance made every moment here truly refreshing. The rooms are well maintained, thoughtfully designed, and offer the perfect balance of comfort and simplicity. Whether it was sipping morning tea amidst the serene surroundings or unwinding in the peaceful atmosphere, every part of stay felt special. couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Pondicherry, and without a doubt, Vagabond will be the first choice for all future visits. The Villa Greek is a great place to stay. It is private, has parking, and is perfect for leisure for 6-7 people. The swimming pool is well-maintained and covered. It is in a slightly isolated area; you'll need a vehicle to reach the main road (5 mins) and the city centre (Puducherry) in just 10 minutes. Luckshan is a very accommodating host. He has maintained the place very well. He explained everything we would need to know before giving us complete privacy for our entire time there. He is friendly, helpful, proactive and quick to respond, making him an amazing host.

Satya’s cottage is a beautiful stay on the quiet beach. Just 10-15 mins from white town and right on the beach. We loved the fact that how quiet and peaceful it was and Satya sir is so warm and welcoming. They provided good South Indian breakfast. The rooms were Eco friendly, spacious and clean. Kitchen had all the basic amenities and the bathroom was good too. Loved the sit out both upstairs and downstairs. So glad that we discovered a beautiful stay in Pondy like this one. Thank you Satya sir and staff.

Beautiful space in beautiful gardens … We choose this place because of it beautiful and serene environment.. There was an unexpected temple festival going on in the distance that made it difficult to stay the length of time intended,l approached Shankar and he responded with so much care.. Himself and his wonderful front of house manage Prabu,they was so kind and understanding ,they understood my reasoning for wishing to leave earlier and did everything in there power to support.. I received a prompt refund … These people are beyond respectful,kind and helpful.. I highly recommend this place,all the staff are amazing ,and the food is so delicious .. Thank you and l will surely be back when next in Auroville..

Nina’s place was as described. The place was very clean and she was a great host and very responsive. She helped us with our requests and was very accommodating. The place was bang on the beach. However the neighbours were very loud, the batch which were staying when we were there were very loud and went on till wee hours in the morning, this kinda disturbed our sleep in 3 of the 5 rooms. The maid also cooks on request and made us amazing prawn and squid. We were total of 9 friends who stayed here. Bed/linen and pillows were comfortable and clean. Kitchen has almost everything needed to cook. Overall I would rate 4.5/5 (0.5 due to the loud neighbours and mosquitoes almost everywhere) else it’s a good stay.
