Beach house vacation rentals in Whitby

We had an absolutely great weekend at Seashells. As a three-generation family group, the house was perfect for us. Diane was very responsive and helpful. Before we even left we booked to go again next year! Great for families - location, layout, amenities, comfort!

Our host Thomas went out of his way to accommodate us a little earlier than expected. Communication was great and made us feel welcome.

Thanks Ian for letting us stay in your beautiful house everything we could possibly need great location parking perfect the house was spotlessly clean great instructions manual making it easy to find everything you should be proud of this place we will definitely be staying with you again found two great restaurants nearby the fisherman’s wife and pizza west both 10 min walk do not go to the Chinese nearby the food was awful threw it in the bin once again many thanks and hope to stay with you again soon

Anne’s place was perfect for our stay ideal for a guest with mobility problems and the location was great for access to the sea front (walks/wheelchair ) lots of places to eat out though the Pavilion was well equipped for eating in we will sure to be back

The cottage is absolutely lovely. We were 4 adults, and it was really spacious for us, it has really comfy beds, enough seating in the living room for everyone which isn't often the case. Great that Netflix etc is there, we used the log burner every night just to make it cosy, but the heating is so good and efficient we didn't need the fire really, it was just so nice to use it ! The kitchen has everything you would need and we loved sitting at the kitchen table for meals. Perfect spot in Sandsend, the parking is such a benefit. I would definitely go back, and Matt is a great host, communicative, helpful, and the welcome basket is so generous. Thanks Matt , hopefully we'll be back.

Camilla is a wonderful host with a beautiful home. The location is amazing, everything within walking distance. We have had the best few days…three adults and 4 children. We will definitely be back. Thanks again Camilla x

Great place to stay with beautiful view and a great space outside for the kids to play

Lovely comfortable and clean house. Great location for the beach and to get around the local area. The kids enjoyed the board games, bucket and spades and playing with other children on the site. We enjoyed a walk along the beach into Filey which was nice. The house was lovely and warm and cosy. Also liked the fact there were plenty of hangers and space to store out stuff! We struggled to use the swimming pool on site because it was so busy with it being Easter holidays and the weather being bad. This is obviously no reflection on the accommodation itself but our kids were a bit disappointed as that’s one of the reasons we booked the place. Just worth bearing in mind if visiting in school hols - best to go early morning.

Had a lovely week at Seaspray, everything we could need was there, lovely house and amazing views of the sea and the cliffs. Would definitely go back.

We had an amazing weekend away, we couldn’t fault the accommodation. Denise was a great host who ensured we had everything we needed before arriving. We will be staying here again.

Had a lovely couple of days with my daughter and grandchildren. Cottage was cosy and safe for the children complete with baby gate and travel cot. Great location and on site swimming pool was a bonus. Can imagine the play area and picnic area are perfect in the warmer months.

This is a great spot - looking out across the bay - and we all spent some time sitting with a book in the lounge window. There are so many windows the light is great, even on a dull day the house feels bright and airy, and reassuringly dry. You can be on the front in two minutes, or heading up towards the Brigg, or out across the sands towards Hunmanby Gap. On a bright day Bempton Cliffs are very well-lit. The dinging room has a huge table, we enjoyed our meals around it - and drinks afterwards, whilst the children were up watching the huge tv in the lounge. The children were very happy in the twin room. One couple had the large upper bedroom, which is huge with bright windows and a harder bed. The other double is much smaller with less of a view, and a softer bed. Swings and roundabouts. We brought two dogs: one elderly collie, one young schnoodle. There was plenty of room for them and we all loved it. We look forward to coming back!

Bay Bank House in Robin Hood's Bay is worth a stay. It's a beautiful home and garden - an ideal place to enjoy this stunning and unique location. We had a wonderful visit which began and ended with helpful, warm and welcoming communication. Thank you Linda and Jordan! We highly recommend booking, as it exceeded many of our needs and expectations.

great mattresses and pillows. sofa in living room really comfy. nice lay out terrible shower, couldn't rinse shampoo out, had to flush both toilets twice, needed a few more cutlery and crockery

The perfect place. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Really good quality mattress on the bed, and good pillows. The location is fab, set back from the main road in a courtyard so a one minute walk to town yet silent and undisturbed. Everything we could possibly need was in the house and if it wasn’t the uk in February we would have made good use of the private enclosed garden with decking and seating. Thank you - we will definitely be back xx

Had a wonderful stay with family in this fantastic house. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Whitby. We had a couple of queries and Richard was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely return.

what a great place to hold our first family reunion. our host Victoria was very accommodating with respect to change of check in time and always responded quickly to questions. The property was ideally placed for walking round the local area and there is so much to do within a short drive. The train station was within walking distance for our party members who don't drive so no problem for them. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience with Victorias place. Top Marks.

We had a lovely stay in monkeypowder. We loved the layout with the bedrooms downstairs and living area on the ground floor. The living room has great sea views and an area to sit and lookout. There is a huge comfortable sofa and great wallpaper of a view of Scarborough. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and a great space to enjoy a meal together. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and a modern ensuite. The apartment was spotlessly clean and we loved the quirky furniture. Free parking was a bonus and a great location to explore Scarborough.
