Really enjoyed our stay. cottage had everything we needed

We stayed for my wife's 40th with our two young boys. The cottage set up worked brilliantly for our family and the hot tub was a big hit. Location was great and had plenty to explore.

We had an amazing time at Rookhope thanks to Nicola. The place was spotless and was even nicer than the pictures. It is very serene and nobody around to bother you. We were celebrating our honeymoon and wanted a place that had no distractions and we definitely found that. There are some beautiful walks nearby and a lovely pub in the next town over. Nicola herself couldn’t have been more helpful. She was always there to answer any questions we had. We had an amazing time away and feel totally refreshed. Thanks Nicola!

It was a really good stay for my girlfriend’s birthday. She was very helpful. I’d never used air bnb before. And arranged this last minute.

This was stunning, the cottage looks exactly like the photos. Immaculate and finished to a really high standard. Kitchen facilities were excellent. Wood burner was perfect as it was cold during our stay. Great location for local walks, restaurants and supermarket. Great meal at the local pub. Hot tub was a delight after some long walks in the hills. Couldn't fault it, Catherine was a fantastic host!

Fantastic apartment, with parking, right in the middle of Ambleside. We stayed for a weekend and will definitely look to book again.

Beautiful cottage and surroundings that we used as a halfway point on our journey home to Scotland. We felt right at home for the few hours that we stayed there and will recommend this to friends and family.

Tina’s place was both comfortable and clean, providing an ideal set up and location for our family getaway. We absolutely loved our Christmas at Seaglass Cottage. The hosts were great, answered any questions, gave us detailed instructions for check-in and even put up a Christmas tree and decorations for us. We were very lucky with the weather, enjoying walks along the beach right outside, we even found some seaglass (we felt like children!). The property was very clean, the bedding smelled so fresh, the kitchen had everything you might need, very clean bathroom and handy downstairs loo. Every evening we would sit in the cosy conservatory enjoying a glass of wine, watching the sun go down, people walking along the beachpath with their dogs and then into the lounge for a real log fire. It was perfect and we can't wait to return!
