We had such a wonderful stay at this home! I visited with my three young kids and there was never a dull moment—so many fun activities to do, both indoors and out. We loved having access to the kayak and canoe, which we used on both the ocean and the nearby lake. The location was peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing, and we had a blast fishing right off the dock. Inside, the house was cozy, spotless, and very comfortable. The beds were clean and comfy, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed—including spices and condiments, which made cooking easy. There were also tons of games to keep the kids entertained during downtime. The hosts were incredibly friendly, responsive, and proactively helpful, checking in by text and making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place and would absolutely come back!

The house was amazing. Very spacious and cozy. The description of the house is very on point. There were even Christmas decorations up which added ambiance considering we traveled there for Christmas. We did have to move a few out of harms way(the little kids), but all in all the decorations added flair to the space. There wasn’t much interaction, because everything was great. But we were kept informed of the necessary information.

Simple little cottage with beautiful surroundings. We were in town to compete in the St.Marys Fair and the proximity to town while still being very private was perfect! Only critique would be access to some basic cleaning supplies like a broom. The kids dropped some breakfast crumbs and grass had been freshly mowed and we tracked quite a bit of grass in and didn't have a way to quickly clean it up. Hope to stay again when we visit the fair next year !

Kimberley was a great host and her place was SUPER clean and very comfortable. Everything is new and updated and nicely decorated. I was there alone and felt safe. The weekend I stayed it was pouring rain and parking was tricky if you had a guest over. Kim explained parking but I was not aware that my visitor parked in wrong spot and my guest left a divot which upset neighbor. (Understandable) just need to be more aware of parking situation. Especially in the rain! I would definitely stay at the Villa again. I am returning in a month a am sad I can’t stay at the villa since it’s booked. We had a quick weekend getaway and loved every moment. House was perfect for our group of 10. Beds were comfortable and the fire pit was amazing. The house came with everything we needed along with extras we didn’t even expect. Denise was a wonderful host and we will definitely be back!

The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained. It had everything we needed and more, making it feel like a true home away from home. What really made this place special was the peaceful setting. If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the perfect spot. Surrounded by nature, it offered us the chance to slow down, breathe, and reconnect—not just with the outdoors, but with ourselves. Even though it feels like a secluded retreat, it’s just a short drive from Leonardtown, so you’re not far from restaurants, shops, and things to do. My husband and I genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay, and we left feeling refreshed and grateful. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, restorative getaway.

The River Home provided an exceptional experience. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. The house itself boasts a modern design and an intuitive layout, ensuring everything is easily accessible and well-organized. Every amenity one could wish for was available, from kitchen essentials to leisure equipment. The outdoor area was particularly impressive, deserving a perfect score of 10 out of 10. It features a netted indoor area equipped with an ice maker, surround sound system, and high-end grill and refrigerator, all of which elevate the outdoor living experience. For those interested in fishing and crabbing, this location is ideal. We enjoyed plentiful catches, adding an exciting element to our stay. Additionally, the convenience of having a grocery store just a 5-minute drive away added to the overall ease and enjoyment of our trip. This home is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and nature, making it a top choice for anyone looking to relax.
