Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Western North Carolina

We stayed for 3 nights and had a great experience at Chuck and Diane’s place. It was a home away from home….from the National Park recommendations to the great breakfasts they prepared to the stories shared about their Gatlinburg home and surrounding area. Their desire to be great hosts is evident from your first encounter with them. The bedroom and bathroom are private and cozy while the shared areas in the home are welcoming and homey. We walked to and from the strip in Gatlinburg a time or two but there are free trolleys available if you don’t want to hoof it. Chuck and Diane say that they love what they do because they make new friends along the way. I’m convinced that is true. My wife and I will easily feel like friends coming home the next time we stay with Chuck and Diane.

amazing cabin, gorgeously magical land... Chuck, my man.. so gracious and flexible (not physically-not sure if he is, didn't meet him in person). it snowed, amazing. my girlfriend/wife had a blast. thanks Chuck.

Perfect location for attending an event at TIEC. Had everything we needed for a long weekend.

Quintin was such a kind host, welcoming us when we arrived and checking in periodically. The house was much more spacious than it looked online. It was extremely private and there was plenty of room for all 13 of us! I would 100% return. The property was very beautiful and the herding dog "Scooter" was the cutest & loved to walk the trails with us! Thank you Quint & Mary!

We loved Nana’s place. It was exactly what we needed for our 1 night in Lenoir City. Exactly as described and she thought of every little detail you could imagine. Forgot your toothbrush? No problem she has those. Forgot your creamer for coffee? She has that too! You name it, Nana has it. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing place to stay, quiet and peaceful. This is a great place to stay if you want to bond as a family, it’s close enough to both beech mtn and sugar mtn, if you love to explore there is plenty of it just on the property itself. The hot tub is amazing, they have everything you need for cooking your own meals, board games. Without a doubt we will be back for our next ski trip, pay attention to when they say a 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended! Thank you all for a wonderful experience

I could have not asked for a better host and location! It was absolutely wonderful and my favorite part was having easy access to snacks at any point of time. I thoroughly appreciated it.

The view is not typical of other Airbnb’s in the area. It is much better and just unbelievable. Lots of space. Very comfortable. Melony was so accommodating and easy to work with. Love this place.

Erica and Jim are so thoughtful and amazing innkeepers! Their attention to detail was noticable at every turn, right down to the fresh baked cookie every evening! Breakfast was delicious both days! My mom is vegan/gluten free and they where delighted to make a similar dish for her while still accommodating her dietary needs, plus it tasted amazing!! Definitely recommend staying here!! 5 stars *****

We absolutely loved our stay with Kathleen and her family on their farm. We were so impressed with how important to Kathleen it was that we have an incredible stay. We felt like we booked the finest place in all of North Carolina because she treated us like prized guests every step of the way. The stay included breakfast, which exceeded our expectations in every way. I would rival Kathleen’s dishes with any of the finest bed and breakfasts in the South. It was some of the best food we have had, and we are still raving about it even days later. The room was cute and comfortable. We felt like we were in a little French cottage, which perfectly complimented our experience since we also visited the Biltmore while we were in town. It truly felt like the gilded age at every corner. We enjoyed the animals on the farm. The big dog that watches over the other animals was the sweetest. The goats surrounded us with love. We even got to see newborn piglets and got to hold them. We will be back!

Staying here was like staying with your favorite relative, very cozy, beautiful views, a hike with a Mountain View on the property, the sweetest dog you could want who welcomes you any time you pull up. We wish we could come here every year. Sharon’s coffee cakes were delicious and she provided a little breakfast and snacks every day. This far exceeded our expectations and the price was very affordable. Also, Weaverville is the cutest little town and only 20 minutes from Asheville.

Kim and Rodger’s hospitality go above and beyond anything I’ve experienced. The location was perfect for star gazing out on the patio, or shopping in near by Floyd. We absolutely adored their dog piglet who we couldn’t love on enough! Communication is never a problem, Kim is happy to help with anything during your stay. We loved this slice of paradise and will be returning soon!

Elizabeth's place was exactly how it was described on the website. She even greeted us outside, when we arrived, and made us feel right at home! This B&B is close to the Dupont Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway which was close to our day trip hiking destinations. Downtown Asheville and Brevard are also close by so there's plenty to do. Or if you want to sit and relax on their back porch and read a book that option is also available. We were so comfortable in their home it felt like visiting a long lost friend. Both Jim and Elizabeth had great stories to tell and also gave us a mini concert in their living room. Her weekend breakfasts were outstanding and she's a fantastic cook! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in this area. We will definitely be back.

Wow. What a wonderful experience. My mother and I stayed here for a night while passing through the area and we were absolutely blown away by Janice's incredible hospitality. We stayed in a lovely room in one of the wooden lodges, with a creekside view. The next morning, Janice brought us the most delicious meal right to our door: fresh peaches, grilled corn with mint and butter, warm scones, quiche with veggies from the garden, and thick sliced bacon. We loved talking with Janice and learning about her experience being an innkeeper for the last 25 years. Overall we wholeheartedly recommend this experience to all who are considering staying here, and we wish we had been able to stay longer. We'll certainly be back!

We had a lovely time. The room was very cute and nice and clean. The next morning we were served a lovely breakfast on the porch facing the river. They even accommodated my husband's gluten allergy at breakfast, which we really appreciated. We'll certainly book again if we're in the area

Very nice getaway for my family. Kids really enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub! Will book again! Tip: bring extra towel's if planning on using pools daily.

The place was wonderfully decorated and well stocked. Perfect for our family of 5’s vacation. Eliza and Brad were very informative and helpful. Highly recommend all around!

Our stay at Bella and Spencer’s cottage was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. Every little detail showed how much care they put into making this place special. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind under the stars, and the sauna was pure relaxation. We loved sipping green tea before soaking in the hot tub, then winding down with chamomile before bed. In the morning, a fresh Nespresso was the best way to start the day. The location is stunning—peaceful, private, and incredibly romantic. Whether we were enjoying the views, cozying up in the cottage, or taking in the quiet beauty around us, everything felt effortless. Bella and Spencer have created something truly special here. Their attention to detail and thoughtful hospitality made this one of the most relaxing and romantic getaways we’ve had. We can’t wait to come back!

Great space to spread out with our 11 friends and family for a long weekend of travel volleyball and cheering on our Eagles in Super Bowl 59!!! This space was perfect for our group as there were 3 families and 3 separate private living quarters, each with a full kitchen or kitchenette and several bathrooms/showers spread out throughout the home. The main house with 3 bedrooms has a large table for 12 with built in booth seating in the main living room. This was ideal for snacking and watching the SuperBowl. All of the bedding was extremely comfortable and bed linens pristinely clean. Several of our group enjoyed the seating on the connecting back porch one night and using the grill to cook out for dinner. We would definitely stay here again!!

You showed up to the cabin and everything looks exactly like the pictures. Also, some foosball table the NBA jam was also pretty cool .bathrooms we’re spotless. Definitely enjoyed this cabin. Awesome restaurants nearby as well 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Just what we needed! Just one block from the Gatlinburg strip smack in the middle of town, perfect location. Place was cozy and clean and Reeni is very friendly to talk to, we will definitely stay here again.

This day was perfect location just saw the downtown area of Gatlinburg. Place to look just like the pictures love the wood paneling two TVs. Plenty of space. I love the balcony of the river.
