Pet-friendly vacation rentals in West Des Moines

Veena is a great host, she responded quickly and was very helpful. The home was clean and neat and had everything we needed. This home can accommodate a large group easily, with 7 adults it didn’t feel like we were ever fighting for space. We stayed during the Des Moines marathon. Between the deck space, the spacious upstairs, and the living spaces there was more than enough room to come together or separate and relax. The house is located just outside of downtown and there is a grocery store close by. We were fortunate to be able to eat home cooked meals for most of our time there thanks to all of the amenities. We brought a propane tank to use the grill one night and cooked up many meals in advance. This is a great choice for families or groups!

We had a great stay! Everything was as described. The fenced in back yard was great for the dogs and we had everything we needed. Eon was great communicating with my messages and even went out of his way to make sure we were able to watch the Super Bowl! The other houses on the block are pretty old and a little off putting but we felt safe the whole time and had no issues.

The home was perfect for our needs. The bathrooms were very nice. The beds were extremely comfortable. Nicely decorated. The only thing I would advise future renters is to bring bar soap if that is your preference and Kleenex. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you David and Jocelyn.

We had a great time at the stone house. It was beautiful and cozy on a very cold winter weekend. The location was easy to find, instructions were helpful and the place was clean and comfortable. Thank you for a great stay.

What a beautiful welcoming home. This place was fantastic! The location was ideal and everything we needed to have the best Thanksgiving. We loved all of the space and privacy this lot had and the dogs loved it too! I come across a lot of places that seem to be missing the necessities you need for a comfortable stay, but this place has everything you could ever need. Thank you all for being great hosts!

Stayed a week for the State Fair. Very clean, well stocked and mostly new/renovated. Beds were comfy. One was considerably low to the floor, about 8”, a little tuff getting up & down. The driveway and street is narrow. Neighbors parked on street made backing out difficult with large truck. Disappointed with the screened in back patio. It was uncharacteristically dirty with leaves and debris. Washer & dryer in basement, well lit and very clean. WiFi worked great. Plenty of hot water. We would stay again.

Felt right at home, everything was in order and organized.

The apartment was perfect. I’ve stayed with this company several times and it’s always perfect. I had to work a double shift my last day and got off 2 hours before checkout. They extended my check just so I could get some rest. AWSOME PEOPLE!!!!

Great location...close to food, shopping and the RecPlex. Townhouse was immaculate and exactly like the pictures. Quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend! Place was overall clean and spacious. Kitchen was stocked with all the basic cooking supplies we’d need. Location felt safe and quiet. Only downsides - they were out of some of the listed amenities (shampoo/conditioner/body wash) and the bath mat was wet/dirty when we arrived. Check in/check out process was easy.

Loved the unit. It was great and allowed my family to feel comfortable and have plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the weekend. Easy access to the interstate, Jordan Creek, and many of the great restaurants close by. Although we ran out of time to use it,the club house and pool were phenomenal.

Molly was a great host and very helpful when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable for our family. Her home was very clean, the furniture was really comfortable, and the home was on an active farm surrounded by beautiful and peaceful farm land. The home is also only about 10 minutes to Adel which has a cute little downtown area with several resturants and only about a half hour to the West end of Des Moines which had a lot of shopping and activity. It was a perfect stay for us.

My friend and I were in town for a dog show and Jane's place ideally suited our needs. Her space is very clean, well equipped, comfortable and it is a lovely, quiet neighbourhood. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Jane!

Quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants and grocery stores. House was spacious for our two kids and dog. Exactly what we needed for our family.

We loved staying here. Derek was flexible responsive and kind. The place was clean, lovely and full of peace and light. We stayed for a couple of weeks during a remodel and had everything we needed. Nice washer and dryer. Comfortable lovely location with in walking distance of the Valley Junction historic district. Would definitely stay again.
