Earth house vacation rentals in West Africa

Just as I write this review, Pape, has just said goodbye to the port of Ziguinchor where he had accompanied me. That means the availability and generosity of man. From my arrival to my departure, the stay will have been rich in encounters, teaching, discovery etc. Go there with your eyes closed you will be delighted. Thanks to Sidi (very big worker), Lamine (cultured and funny), their families and the villagers of Koubalan. I'll be back. Abaraka. 🇸🇳🇸🇳

A wonderful place ... Staying at Frédérique's is to be lulled by the sound of waves, letting yourself be guided for excursions ( very good contacts with locals), sharing warm, convivial, funny moments around a homemade kitchen ( ah the fresh eggs in the morning!!) playing with his adorable dogs... The accommodation is very comfortable, very good bedding, a nice space, a very nice pool. As you can see, we fell in love with this place!! And when you leave, you're lucky enough to have made this beautiful human encounter and how lucky you were able to stay there for several days. Thank you for everything.

Good Vibes Eco Lodge is a truly magical place. The location is amazing- it's quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. You are surrounded by beautiful nature, lush garden, birds, fruit trees, baobabs, and the nearby river. The lodge is beautiful. We felt extremely comfortable and cosy, it had everything we needed. Most importantly, Ami and her family are the best and kindest hosts we have met during our travels. They made us feel like a part of the family. Ami's food is delicious - probably the best we tried in the Gambia, and her place has become the highlight of our trip. We only wish we had booked a longer stay (5 days was not enough - I can guarantee you will want to extend your stay once you are there). We left feeling like we made some truly beautiful friends and I hope we will have the chance to come back one day.

We loved Villa Anna. Visiting Gorée is a unique and unforgettable experience and I feel the Villa was an excellent place to spend the night. The owner was responsive and helpful. I really appreciated the decoration, the comfort and the calm. Our family of 4 totally recommends Villa Anna if you are looking to spend one night in Gorée.

Very stylish accommodation in the savannah. Huge property with wonderful nature. Cozy sun loungers with great views and a flat pool to cool off. Very helpful and nice staff!

Perrine Yannick’s place was very nice. I decided to stay there as it was closer to the airport and provided enough time for an early flight. I arrived very late and Perrine was very accommodating and patient. When I arrived I was happy to find a very eclectic environment. It was comfortable and very spacious. If you’re looking for a unique experience with the sounds of the oceans in the background this place is for you. It’s also very peaceful. I will definitely return to this bnb.😄. Thank you !!
