Our family of four had a great time staying with Anna and Max. The two are wonderful, open and warm hosts, who are careful that their guests spend a relaxing time in the forest cottage and can explore the area freshly strengthened on the first morning. The house itself is very nicely decorated and super clean. The rooms offer ample space and equipped with everything you need for a few days. From the house you can immediately start a forest walk and meet deer. Needless to say, the dog also felt really comfortable. But other excursions and adventures are also close by. For example, if you want to climb Cologne Cathedral or take a look at the highest railway bridge in Germany, it is not far. Anna and Max are also willing to give helpful tips. Thank you so much for everything!

Review The accommodation is a converted pig shed that has been renovated to the highest standards. It is post-rustic and enhanced by its rural location. I would describe it as quirky, very bright, and with extremely comfortable beds. It is located on the eastern side of Arnhem, with access to nearby public transportation only a five-minute walk away. The hosts were accommodating and friendly. I would use this Airbnb again.

Traveling to the area for work. This is my second time staying at Sandra and Maurice, they are very kind people. The house for rent is in a great location in the middle of nature. Clean and cozy, there's nothing missing. I'll definitely be back, I feel great.

We had a wonderful weekend with our family! Rooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen is spacious and contains everything you might need. The area is beautiful. If you take the car, there are beautiful walks to take. The house is private, adjacent is a second vacation home.

I spent four wonderful weeks in Annalena's apartment and felt completely comfortable. The place was very clean, neat and well equipped. The location is simply fantastic – in the middle of nature, surrounded by sheep, goats, super sweet donkeys and llamas. It was a real pleasure to wake up in this idyllic tranquility in the morning. If you love relaxation and nature, this is the case. I would love to come back anytime!

we felt immediately comfortable upon arrival, everything was as described. In advance, there was good contact and questions were helped, Sonja is very eager and very likeable. We used two bedrooms, with the double bed everything was fine, the sofa bed in the small room I would soften the next time with my self-inflating sleeping mat. So I switched to the sofa in the living room. We will be happy to come back, except on New Year's Eve 😊

We stayed here for a weekend to go hiking. It's very quiet and cosy.

The beautiful old house Benke has an incredible charm and is rich, practical and very cozy. The garden is an idyll and the quiet green surroundings invite you to take nice walks. The bus from Recklinghausen stops right in front of the property (but we didn't notice anything from the street). The contact with Benjamin was straightforward and warm. He answered all questions in a timely manner and is very helpful. Our children also felt very comfortable. We didn't miss anything during our family reunion and we'd love to come back at any time. Highly recommended!!

the perfect parking spaces on the campsite. Everything is close by. Very nice area also for hiking with the dog. We have enjoyed it!

We used the accommodation for four with two children (12 and 9) as a central starting point for activities in the Ruhr area. Therefore, the location was especially important to us. With about 10 minutes. Walking distance to the nearest train station can be reached very well. The apartment is not large, but well suited for a family for a few days. Otherwise, we particularly liked the great view through the balcony and window and the freely usable small swimming pool. All in all it was a nice time!

If I could have given 6 stars for the location, I would have done that. Our dog is very sensitive to stimuli and barks very quickly as a result. She barked twice in those 5 days. This is just to indicate how secluded you are. Enjoy hiking in the woods in the region. Been to the aussichtsturm, absolutely recommended as well as the hotel that has a very cozy terrace. In the cottage you should not expect luxury but it is just wonderfully cute and cozy. It has everything you need for a stay. It's the first time but definitely not the last time we've been here. We were very warmly welcomed by Tina and felt very comfortable in the tiny house. It was very cuddly warm on the first day despite the rainy weather and on the remaining days we enjoyed waking up in the morning with the view over the beautiful landscape. The cottage without corners is really something very special and highly recommended.

We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime.
