Very nice place in the super location, landlord is very kind person, we had a wonderful holiday there.

Very nice accommodation, clean with everything you could need. Walking distance to town, beautiful Penzance.

My dog and I had a lovely 4-night stay at Sabine’s wonderful little flat. Sabine welcomed us on arrival (with cookies, thank you!!) and showed me around the flat, the flat was exactly as described and very clean. The private garden was great too. The kitchen had everything it needed (although, may I suggest an air fryer?), the bathroom was clean and the shower was absolutely lovely! Bed was comfy and living room was cosy! Tv doesn’t have any streaming services so I would suggest bringing a laptop if you like to use these. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this to anyone wanting a nice flat to stay in, just a 15-20 minute walk to the beach. Thanks for having us!!

We had a wonderful stay. The location although out of the way was easy to get to and within walking distance of local pubs, shops and the beach. The station is mainline and well served. We travelled by rail to St. Austell and Falmouth, but Truro and Penzance are within day trip range by rail. The South West Coastal Path is close by and a walk from Pornpeath beach to Par is doable in a few hours. The extra rations left in the fridge were great and a lovely surprise.

David and Lizzie’s place is a true sanctuary for the soul. I have read in other reviews that the pictures on here do not make it justice and I couldn’t agree more. I loved how peaceful it was, and will certainly miss seeing all the robins, squirrels and other animals pass by the windows in the morning, all on an exploratory mission into the majestic garden. The cottage has quite a history having hosted numerous families and famous painters over the centuries. The garden at the back still has the same layout established in the nineteenth century and it is great to see all the various species of exotic plants grown by the various owners still thriving to this day. The cottage is perfectly located if you are travelling by public transport. This goes not just for train links in and out of Penzance, but also for local buses around the area and the Land’s End Coaster. Thanks a lot for all your tips guys, and for being so humane. 5 stars does not do this apartment justice, it deserves more. If I could give this apartment a higher mark I absolutely would. Not only is it a beautifully located apartment, it is spacious, BEAUTIFULLY decorated with everything you could want for a luxurious, restful stay. The design and attention to detail make you feel as though you are staying in a high end boutique hotel. A remarkably peaceful place to stay considering you are literally steps away from a bustling, working harbour. Our hosts were kind and generous with their time, recommendations and help during the stay maintaining contact prior to arrival to ensure ease of check in. I can honestly say it is the best sleep I have had in years, the bed was an absolute delight to sleep in which was in keeping with the comfort and luxury throughout the apartment. I have absolutely no doubt we will be returning to Quayside many times in the future.

We really loved our stay at Treetops. Such a peaceful location with beautiful views over Mounts Bay and beyond. The cream tea and being able to look out over Tom and Gail's lush, almost tropical garden were a real bonus! Although we used the car very little during our 4 night stay, being able to leave it outside made everything very easy. And if you don't mind walking back up a steep hill at the end of each day, there are sooo many things you can do in this area by walking and/or using the local bus service. Tom was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Allowed us to be as independent as we wanted to be, but also available to offer advice when we needed it. The apartment was cosy as well as spacious, with everything we needed. A well equipped kitchen/sitting room and a super comfy bed. Thank you so much Tom and Gail for a fab holiday. We would definitely love to return someday soon :)

Stephen’s place is a self contained studio, consisting of a double bedroom with a large tv, bathroom/toilet, kitchen with all amenities and another tv. There is a small seating area outside. The place was very clean when we arrived. There are two electric heaters, keeping the place warm. Stephen left for us a bottle of wine and two bottles of water in a fridge. For breakfast we had a selection of four small boxes of cereals and a bottle of milk.

We stayed for two weeks and had the most fabulous time. The apartment is exactly as described and is a delight to stay in. Everything you could possibly need and more…games, books and DVDs. We loved catching up on some old but fab films during our stay. The apartment is a downhill walk of about 30/35 mins to the main centre of Rock but about 10 minutes walk away are a bakery, deli/supermarket, fish and chip shop, cafes etc so you can get all you need without the car. We used the apartment to access the whole of Cornwall including Lands End and The Lizard. It’s a bit of a drive but easy to get there and back and spend loads of time exploring in a day. The Cornish weather did mean some rainy days so we were often wet and muddy on our return. As we were there in Sept, it would usually have been too early to put the heating on… but a quick message to Helena and she sorted everything so we were able to be super toasty and wash and dry everything. We stayed for 2 nights as a weekend escape and Geeta’s place was perfect for this. Very easy to use- clean, tidy, easy instructions and a good location. Within easy walking distance of the bustle, with shops and things nearby such as a useful Co-Op and a friendly traditional pub bar over the road! Great little shops, restaurants and a lovely cocktail bar (Seven) in St Ives and views to soothe the soul . Thank you Geeta

Sally provided a wonderful, clean and beautiful accommodation for me, my wife and mother in law to stay while I worked. Everything was as described and Sally kept us fully informed on our 1 night stay. will definitely use again!

I have just come back from staying at Dave’s beautiful property for a couple of nights. I stayed there with my dog and partner and felt right at home straight away, the apartment is beautifully furnished and in the most perfect location if you want chilled days at the beach or to go and surf! I would definitely stay there again. Dave was very accommodating and friendly and very quick to reply to messages. An awesome host! Thanks again for a great stay Dave, I will 100% be recommending to friends.

Me and my partner had a great stay at Wrens Retreat. Compact but very cosy and warm in the 2 degree weather we had! Ali was very responsive constantly during our stay, there was a slight issue with the toilet flush but it was fixed very quickly and without any fuss. Ali even let us get in a bit early and leave our bags there as there was no one checking in which was really great! Comfy bed, and ample storage, even a hair dryer! Had everything you would need for a little break away. Would definitely return and would definitely recommend! 👍🏻

We had a great stay! Tara was a great host, very friendly and informative, even prepared us a cream tea on arrival which was lovely! Would definitely recommend, the location is perfect as it’s only a short walk into the town!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mary was a great host an great at communicating before we arrived. It was warm, cosy and overall well appointed. Beds were extremely comfortable and with two bathrooms - an en suite and a family, this meant there were no morning queues! Location is perfect. Just next to the lovely Porthminster beach and a short walk into town. We love visiting St Ives and this is another great place to add to our recommended places to stay. If I had to think of one negative, it would only be that shower gel, cooking oil, salt and pepper is not provided - this is mentioned before you get there, so is only really a problem if, like me, you forget to bring them as they are often supplied as a given in Airbnb’s. Just a small thing though really as this is a lovely place for a small family to stay and I’d highly recommend.

Stunning apartment, spacious and modern . Very clean. Welcome pack provided and toiletries. Beautiful views across the bay. 5 min walk down to the sea. 10 mins back ( uphill ! ) Lovely balcony to have a glass of wine. Peaceful location. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely flat to stay in, very clean and everything there that you will need. Nice new kitchen which is well equipped. Plenty of hot water in the nice shower. Comfortable bed. Car park easy to access. Just be advised that if you choose to walk into town it’s very hilly. We did, every day, and our legs got a thorough work out. The walk is not for the faint hearted!

Perfect place to stay, made very welcome, plenty of goodies, had to leave some! Spectacular views, especially from the hot tub. Sheila & Martin are the perfect hosts. Highly recommend. Wonderful apartment with everything you could possibly need for the 4 of us (3 humans & a 4 legged friend)

Georgie and Chris were great hosts, the hay loft is exactly as described and a beautiful place to stay. As others have mentioned, it’s peaceful and within walking distance of a lovely local pub which does fantastic food! Georgie and Chris had provided a welcome pack of eggs, milk, bread and Prosecco which was a nice touch. The hay loft has everything you need for a quiet break, the hot tub an excellent addition to. Would highly recommend 😊

Our stay at the Old Egg Barn was very enjoyable. The location was quiet, the property well presented and with nice touches like the dog bowls, towel and blanket. The property was warm and we didn’t really need the heating on. The hot tub was great and nice to relax in after a day out. Will be coming back soon.
