Family-friendly vacation rentals in Walworth County

Christine’s place was the perfect get-away for a family vacation close to home. The lake was beautiful and the place was spotless and inviting. It felt like you walked in to your own home. It’s close to places to eat and there is even a community space just a few houses down that is lively if the weather is nice. I’m hoping to come back again!

This was our second visit to Amanda’s and just like the first time, it left my boys with fun memories. We will be back next summer.

We booked for 2 weeks and enjoyed each day! Great neighborhood for walking our dog and loads of restaurants nearby to try out. The home was furnished with everything you could need. Sarah was accommodating to meet our needs and we would definitely come back here.

Every year we visit Cypress there are more improves and amenities. Always a great stay and so much to do. Amanda and her team run this place like a well oiled machine. We visit once in the winter and once or twice in the summer. A favorite for sure.

Amanda is the best host I’ve ever had, she is so friendly and responsive. Her kitchen was fully equipped, she gave us the option of having firewood delivered, the place is absolutely beautiful, you walk down some stairs to get to the beach. A group of 8 moms went there for a weekend getaway and it was exactly what we needed. Thank you!

The house was very centrally located and convenient to everything in Lake Geneva. It was a good size for my adult family to stay and we enjoyed the common areas for gathering. The house is old but in a way that we found quirky and charming, and overall clean and functional. There is only one shower but we didn't run out of hot water so it worked out. Parking and entry were very easy. Overall a great find and value if you are okay with an older place and want to prioritize a central location with several private bedrooms.

Very nice place to host our large family Christmas gathering. Plenty of room for everybody. The game room was very much appreciated and well used.

This Yurt was such a cozy stay for my partner and I this Valentine’s Day weekend!! Very peaceful & such a beautiful location. We enjoyed watching the snowfall, listening to the birds/ animals outside, and heating up food & tea on top of the wood burning stove. We stayed warm the entire time!! The amenities were all there; we had everything we needed!! We stayed in and played card games/ relaxed.. and we also explored the local nearby area in downtown Cambridge as well as Madison which was only a 30 min drive! Overall, a great weekend and the hosts were very friendly and responsive. I would 100% do this again and I recommend this Yurt to anyone looking for a cozy getaway :)

This place is perfect for big parties. Beautiful and clean location with tons of space for 10+ people. Nice fire pit in the backyard and the host is amazing. There were a few kitchen utensils missing due to the last renters not returning things where they belong and a phone call to the host was made and he delivered brand new utensils within an hour. This place and owner really make you feel at home!

What a truly amazing experience! Our families came from opposite sides of the country to enjoy some amazing racing at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. We don’t get a chance to see each other that often so we wanted a place that we could gather together to relax and enjoy. We arrived from our two day journey from Montana to a beautiful evening and a wonderful sunset. Our friends from South Carolina were already there and the rest of our group followed shortly after. Once we took just a minute to see the house and walk the grounds we knew we picked the perfect spot!!!! Our first two evenings were spent enjoying the grounds, the house, the porch, the view and the beauty!! We hosted several families for dinner and the space was amazing for gathering, eating and fellowship. Tracy and Leif have made the space so user friendly and inviting that we really felt amazingly comfortable!! They have provided every detail you can imagine from s’more packages to basketballs to lots of wood for the fire ring to every local tip you could imagine!!! The combination of a lovely comfortable home and the quaint and beautiful grounds make for a truly wonderful experience. We left wanting out experience to last a few more days, so we knew it was special place. We would highly recommend this experience!!! Andy and crew

This beautiful cozy cabin was everything and more than we could have asked for on this occasion. Was very simple and easy to book, clear instructions and a peaceful environment. Would absolutely recommend her cabin! The view is amazing!!!

Perfect location for exploring downtown Rockford. Very neat and clean, unique urban loft feel. Right above Abreo which you should definitely patronize if you stay here!

Laura's place was exactly as described. Very quick responses and proactive in communication. Will definitely rebook next time I'm in the area.

We've stayed here many times and the house is perfect for our group. Brittany is very responsive and the kitchen/dining room/covered deck is great for hanging out. We will be back again!

Always a great host. It snowed while I was there and he had the driveway and sidewalks shoveled immediately.

We had a great family experience at Grand Geneva Resort.

We had a fantastic time here! The property has an incredible deck that extends into the surrounding forest. We had breakfast outside every morning! If you love wildlife, you'll love this place.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was very nice and cozy. The bed in the master was very comfortable. Very clean and wasn’t too hard to find. The location is great right next to the Lodge and not too far from downtown. We would definitely stay there again! The only negative I have is I did try to reach out to the host before our stay to ask a question and never received a response back. But all in all we loved this place!

Great locations and easy to get to everything we wanted to do. We had a few very minor issues that did not affect our stay and she was very responsive to the items we discussed.

Stephen was a welcoming host and the cabin was exactly as described. The location is secluded and quiet, but you’re also close to groceries, restaurants and fun antique stores. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals, and the fireplace is cozy and perfect for relaxing. Even with snow on the ground we enjoyed strolling around the property down to the lake. A wonderful stay, we’d love to visit again.
