Beautiful lakefront cottage on a pristine Outaouais lake. Skylights flood the house with natural light and the wood stove was lovely on a chilly fall weekend. The 4th bedroom in the basement is quite musty and unsuitable for people with allergies to animals or dust. The kitchen is well equipped. Would highly recommend.

This property has it all! Wonderful layout (the main cottage is separated from the sleeping areas, so people who wish to stay up late and enjoy libations and games - can and will not disturb others) A beautiful indoor/outdoor space with a fireplace and an incredible view. All the bedrooms overlook the lake, and the sunrise is truly breathtaking. The cottage also has easy-to-use wireless speakers, all the kitchen tools and supplies are top notch. And the dining & lounge spaces make this cottage feel like a mansion. I cannot wait to stay again, what a truly wonderful experience. 5 stars for sure!

A great cabin on a lovely property with beautiful views and in an area we love—so much nature to explore & nearby small towns to enjoy unique local fare & culture. The cabin has all the amenities to be comfortable & feel right at home. Martin is absolutely great—always responsive, excellent, clear instructions. This was my second stay & I hope to be back again next year!

We really enjoyed the cottage which was rustic and exactly what we needed. It's not a luxury cottage but it's perfect for relaxing and relaxing by the fire. The view is amazing with virtually 360 views of the river and nature. Although there were cottages around, we felt in complete privacy and we didn't hear the neighbors! We enjoyed the fireplace that we could admire through the window. The double bed was comfortable. All the necessary amenities were present. We visited the nearby village and did a Hicking that left us a breathtaking view at the top ( trail du Cuillerier Parc Regional White Fish). In short, we will return and I recommend to lovers of nature and calm!

Absolutely wonderful stay. So much space! Beautiful home and surroundings. Arrived just before huge snowstorms (so having an AWD vehicle was helpful). Nathalie and Luc were so helpful and responsive to my few questions to clarify some things and flexible (as we had car troubles and thought we might need to extend our checkout time). Spa was divine! Lake right there for snowshoeing and walking. Driveway was plowed, walkway shovelled on our arrival! (despite the huge amounts of snow that had fallen).

Nice place with great access to lake. We used the pizza oven and the sauna. Eric was very nice and flexible.

Despite the rain and the fog at the end of December which did not allow for usual outdoor lwinter activities like skiing, snowshoeing or even skating, we had an excellent time at the cottage. Our family of five adults enjoyed playing lots of board games, we had plenty of firewood for the indoor fireplace and there was plenty of comfortable seats to enjoy a movie. We took some walks on the very quiet and peaceful roads around the cottage. Wifi and cell reception were good The kitchen was well stocked and clean. We appreciated the large windows overlooking the lake. And the cozy sunroom off the kitchen was a wonderful little spot to watch the numerous birds coming to the birdfeeder. Overall, we had a great few days relaxing in a very nice cottage.

Our family stayed at Stephane's cottage for the family day long weekend. to have a relaxing family time and do some skiing in the area. The cottage is beautiful, private, peaceful, very spacious, well laid out, and the view to the lake and surrounding area is awesome. The furniture is in great shape, very clean, and very spacious (fit us - 7 adults and a puppy very comfortably). The place was as good as it's described and shown in the listing. The host was kind and very responsive. We had a great time and will certainly consider it again in the future.

Beautiful place! pictures are accurate. We were 14 ladies celebrating a birthday and there was plenty of space for all of us. there are alot of stairs so wouldn't be good for anyone with mobility issues. Very well equipped and we all loved our stay! Thank you for sharing your beautiful chalet!

Our stay was incredible! We were a large group of friends and the space worked so well for us. There was plenty of space to spread out, as well as large spaces to come together in. It was so peaceful and relaxing, and the host was kind and friendly in all of our interactions. I highly recommend this space!

We had a wonderful stay that went way too fast! This is a splendid villa with a great view of the lake, which was frozen during our stay. Everything was perfect and hopefully we will have the opportunity to come back.

I had an incredible stay here! The property lives up to the photos and description, and was a beautiful place to spend the weekend. Would definitely stay here again the next time I need to host a group in the Ottawa area!

Clear and easy instructions for getting to and entering the chalet; host was very responsive during the stay. The chalet was fully stocked with any and all kitchen items as well as more than enough linens for all guests and even things like martini glasses among the glassware and firewood stocked outside. Could not have found a better chalet to spend the weekend, more than exceeded my expectations.

What a magnificent chalet! It had everything we needed, was well appointed with quality items, furniture, beds and appliances. The owners have put a lot of effort into a "luxury" feel and there was nothing about the experience that was cheap. Every room was very clean when we arrived, and in fact the driveway and beach had been raked. A great attention to detail! The pictures in the listing make it look amazing but in fact it looks even better in person. We were 8 adults staying in the chalet and it's spacious enough for couples to have their own space but come together in a spacious environment as well. Use of the jacuzzi, paddleboards, large dock with solid chairs, living room with fireplace, full kitchen and dining area as well as several areas to just relax. We loved it and were awed by the constant calm view of the lake. I expect we will return next year as a group.

Our stay at this cottage was absolutely beautiful and we are already planning our next trip back. Anik puts great care into the property and guests- with a warm fire started and music playing for our arrival. The scenery was breathtaking. Everything surpassed our expectations! Looking forward to coming back!

We loved staying at Ced’s place, it was very secluded, peaceful and had every amenity we could ask for! He was really responsive throughout our stay and even let us checkout a little late which was really considerate. Highly recommended!

Chalet des Bécassines is a little corner of paradise in the Laurentians. I invited my parents and my sister and we really enjoyed our stay. With the pool table, dart board, knock game and more, it's impossible to get bored. The beds are very comfortable and the chalet is very well-equipped for cooking. There are even 3 coffee machines! The biggest advantage of this chalet, in my opinion, is the magnificent view, and when the sun streams in through the huge windows on a chilly day, you just want to curl up on the plush sofa and read or chat. I look forward to returning to enjoy the lake a little more in the summer.

Very nice place on the lake, lonely and abandoned. If you like the tranquility, this is the place to be.

The cabin in Canada. Great location (we saw elk in the garden). Very quiet and relaxing place. Well located. Stéphan is very nice (thank you for the very kind welcome) and responds quickly. The accommodation is very well equipped and clean. The interior is cozy. A “at home, in others.” We highly recommend it.
