Vacation rentals with a firepit in Victoria

Gerry was as excellent of a host as they come! He met us upon arrival to help us find the house. He was very flexible even though we were running later than we thought due to the ferry. The house is amazing - so clean, updated and comfortable. And it has all the comforts of home that you would need. He goes above and beyond, and we will definitely stay there again!

We had a fantastic stay - right on the ocean with beautiful sunrise and sunset views. The jacuzzi overlooking the water was enjoyed by all. The kitchen is spectacular with everything you could need and the living area is very nice. The full wall of glass windows and sliders with the wrap-around deck was great. The heated floors were an unexpected, but welcome surprise!

Michelle’s place was great for our family of 7 and 3 dogs! All the space you need to relax and enjoy Sooke! Very comfortable and convenient location

We had originally booked this home for May 2024 but we had to cancel last minute because of a passport mess-up. Josie was kind enough to credit us the stay and let us reschedule. Once we arrived, our jaws dropped. The photos don’t do justice how stunning this space is. I leapt around the first 24 hours because I was so thrilled to be there with my friends, celebrating life. The beds are a dream, the forest is enchanting and we could not get enough of the outdoor shower/sauna experience. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!!

This is a beautiful, tranquil location and lovely home. DM is a very attentive host, almost like a mom :) There were a lot of thoughtfully tailored touches that welcomed us and made us feel at home, including some really lovely breakfasts. It made for a very nice, cozy getaway with a lot of nice perks - massage table, firepit, and a super comfortable hot tub. if you're looking to be charmed by East Sooke, this is a fantastic place for it!

Our Family stayed In Deborah’s beautiful home for the weekend. It was a great place to reconnect and hang out. The view is spectacular, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We hope that we will be able to come and stay again.

Stunning place, surrounded by nature in an amazing well maintained backyard and place. We had an extremely relaxing and fun time there! Great amenities,loved the fire pit and the loft for star gazing. The outdoor tub is a great extra. Our dog loved it so much too. Really helpful and responsive host. Thanks for the amazing stay!

We had a nice stay of three weeks at this Airbnb. The location is perfect, just a short drive from Victoria as well as close to stunning hiking trails. The place was very clean. We liked that it had a large TV in the living room and another one in the master bedroom. The gas fireplace in the living room was perfect for taking the chill off of the downstairs area in the morning, the only time we felt we needed to use it. The master bedroom was spacious with lots of closet space and drawers. We used the second bedroom as an office, and liked that there was enough space for two people to work. The upstairs bathroom featured a huge walk-in shower that was a real treat. We also enjoyed meeting the owner and his friendly dog, Biscuit, who live next door. We thought this airbnb was very reasonably priced and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

The place was ready when we arrived, access was very easy. The space was clean and equipped with all the essentials. Ryan was easy to communicate with, got us what we needed from coffee to tea towels! He also had some great local recommendations. Beautiful weather and accomodations made it feel like a luxury glamping experience!

Had such an awesome stay, the room was tidy, modern and had everything we needed. We had such an awesome time out on the dock, wish we could have stayed longer. 10/10 would recommend this place

: We stayed at Jiva’s Airbnb for a girls’ weekend to celebrate my mom’s 70th, and it was absolutely perfect! The views of the ocean and mountains are simply breathtaking—better than we could have imagined. The accommodations were wonderful: very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub every night, taking in the scenery and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect spot for a special celebration, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Tracy and John are fantastic hosts. They have everything you can think of and more within the unit. There were also some other little perks but don't want to ruin the surprise should you choose to stay here which you should. The view / location can't be beat. The lake is a few mins walk away; super clean (rocky so you may want water shoes) and there is a dock to jump off of. Separately, my luggage arrived late and they provided me with extra toiletries which was so thoughtful. They also regularly checked in on the situation which I really appreciated. I hope to be back!

Stayed for few weeks and it was great. I love colwood waterfront which is why I chose this place. The place was comfortable, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The hosts was responsive and welcoming.

My partner and I chose this peaceful, beautiful Airbnb as the spot for our private elopement, and it was everything we hoped for. We enjoyed the walk down to the beach and along the shore multiple times a day. The space was cozy, serene, and spotless, and Aletta was so kind and thoughtful. She even agreed to be our witness for ceremony! An unforgettable stay in every way. Highly recommend!!

Shannon went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable after a long drive! Responsive when we had any questions. Liam was great with communication as well. This cabin we didn’t want to leave, it’s so cozy and has more than you need for a relaxing peaceful getaway, fire pit outside, hot tub, fire inside, we will be back, walk to Kinsol Trestle bridge, close drive to lake. Lovely cabin for the perfect nature weekend escape. We loved spending time with the dogs, relaxing in the hammock, and watching old movies at night beside the fire. Michele was a great host and we would come back again!

My family and I had a very lovely, relaxing stay at Jessica’s cabin. It has everything you would need for a weekend getaway. One thing we wish we packed were eye masks as the sun woke us up due to no window coverings!

We enjoyed our time here while we explored Sooke and Victoria on our Spring Break! We especially enjoyed the fire place and tv in the evenings!

Fantastic, affordable little cabin on the West Island perfectly situated a reasonable drive from all the best hikes the area has to offer. The cabin was clean, has most of what we needed, and was a lovely place to wind down in the evening. We were surprised to find there was an indoor shower as well as the outdoor shower mentioned in the listing. We loved the outdoor shower after a morning run.

it was beautiful and peaceful! very family-friendly and a unique opportunity to sleep right next to the ocean. we will be back and we will refer to other families!
