Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Viamala

The house is amazing! The place feels antique, but is very carefully maintained, everything is clean and functional. For example, there's a huge modern kitchen that has everything you might need: 2 fridges, 2 dishwashers, at least 5 fondue pots and more! The hosts communicate quickly and accurately, are always helpful. I'm looking forward to visiting this place again!

We were received very nicely by Daniel's wife. The apartment was very clean and perfectly fine for our needs. We had everything we needed. A special highlight was the large shower and hot water in 2 seconds. The fully automatic coffee machine was great too. All in all, our stay was too short. Maybe it will work another time and then we will definitely stay longer. Thank you again for everything.

Dominic and his father are kind, respectful and considerate. We exchanged ideas on where to hike and what to wear even though we are busy. I’m thankful to have the time to stay in the Aeblis’ house. It has everything you need: dishwasher, washer, hot shower and numerous heaters, for the WC to the bedroom. For me I sleep cool, so the heater in the toilet is enough for warmth on most days; sometimes I use my headlights just because I want to “set the mood”. The bed, pillow and blankets are very comfortable. The living room is always toasty due to the floor heating. Windows are modern and you can’t hear the highway noise when shut. If you have lived in a modern hutte like Kesch, then that's what you can expect + stable internet from router. It is also much less “touristy” or crowded on the way there than Valais, i very much appreciate that. Hope to have the chance to swing by again and accomplish routine hikes!

Nina is very friendly, gives simple and clear hints and good tips. For me, the Höckli was love at second sight: first the kitchen was too tiny for me - and: it's equipped with everything, even with wine glasses, raclette-Öfeli, and fondue-Rechaud. The ladder was too adventurous for me, my husband thought it was cool. I liked the way around the house better, and it went well despite the cold. The location is very nice, lots of places around the Höckli. Even with public transport, you can quickly reach beautiful Chur and the beautiful places such as Valbella and Lenzerheide. What we particularly liked is the "living room" overlooking nature. And we were most pleased that we both slept very well, which is not self-evident with us and therefore particularly valuable. We can imagine coming back. Thank you, dear Nina, for your kind and cheerful manner.

It was now our third ski trip that we spent with Claudius. Everything was fine again. We liked it very much again! We would come back any time and can recommend Claudius's place with a clear conscience. Claudius's house is also ideal for holidays outside the winter season. You are in the middle of a hiking and biking area or you can just enjoy the seclusion. GREAT THING!

Great place, good location, plenty of room for eight of us. As Uwe points out, the stairs are a bit tricky in the wintertime when they have a layer of ice on them, but other than that the place was great, plenty of amenities in the kitchen.

With the many rooms and the two bathrooms, the accommodation is perfect for a large group. Amenities of the kitchen are super. We felt very comfortable.

Centrally located in Ilanz. Everything within walking distance. The apartment was cozy and clean. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

Perfect place to stay for a few days for 2 pers. Everything in walking distance, apt. 100% in style and design of the 60ies. , feels cosy. Only downside, although there is no place for it, I missed a comfortable chair to relax. But the whole apt. really functional, well kept and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

Wonderful apartment in a tranquille Alpine village. Beautifully decorated, extremely clean and probably with the most well equipped kitchen I've experienced during my many years as AirBnB guests. Overall - the apartment was _very_ generously equipped (not only the kitchen) in a way few apartments are. You'll have virtually everything you need, and more. Lots of space inside, seating areas, sofas etc and a breathtaking view over the village and the surrounding Alps. The ski lift is a very short walk away, and since there was not snow in the village we walked to the lift. Not a problem at all, it's super close. There's a small but very well equipped grocery store literally 3 min walk from the apartment.  The hosts were enormously helpful and generous. There was a bottle of delicious Prosecco and a handwritten letter waiting for us. Such a nice gesture - we felt instantly at home.  I'm giving this apartment my sincerest recommendations! The apartment is awesome! There is everything you could need or could need. The beds are comfortable, location is very central. Everything is very clean. The landlady is very friendly. The many children's books and sledges were particularly beautiful for us:)

We loved our stay at Casa Ravieni. We are family of 5 with an 11, 9 and 3 year old and we found short distance away to great playareas and other activities. Ski resort is only 7 minutes drive! The apartment was very clean, kitchen all equipped, the ONLY downside was no exclusive wash machine in the apartment, instead there was residential one for all guests to use downstairs but this in no way lessens our positive feedback on our stay. The view from apartment and the surroundings are truly breathtaking! we can see Alps everywhere and little drive up the mountains and we indulged in a little play in snow with our children which we never get to do in UK as we get only a bit of snow dust! Judith and Peter were delightful and such amazing hosts! It was also our first experience with Airbnb and we're pleasantly surprised. We definitely made memories and will be back in future!

Ladina's apartment was great. Super nicely located right on the river with mountain views and sun balcony. Ladina is super friendly and welcomed us warmly. She even had toys ready for my little daughter. We will be happy to come back!

It is a great apartment, the kitchen is well equipped, you immediately feel very comfortable. You can shop on foot and reach the cable cars. We will be happy to come back.

We spent a wonderful week by Muriel and Flurin. Beautiful apartment, exactly as described and equipped with all you need. Also lots of good children’s books and games. Best possible location in a quiet area and direct to the slopes. Muriel and Flurin were super nice, always responded quickly and helped with everything. We felt at home, absolutely a perfect stay!

my two children and I went there for the summer period. Beautiful region of Switzerland with plenty of deactivates for families. Iris's place is a short distance from a pretty swimming lake, gondola to access a lot of hiking, a beautiful piece of paradise. The apartment is quite old (decor, furniture), but very comfortable (bed, shower, space, nice terrace). You will find everything you need (lots of dishes, games, tranquility, ...). I would go back there without hesitation, the contact with Iris is very nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Philipp's condo. Everything was extremely convenient from walkning to the ski lift to parking in the garage and getting into the house. We were 3 adults and 2 teenagers. The condo had a beautiful view of the mountains and had a nice interior with comfortable beds. The town itself was also a great experience. Peaceful and picturesque with a nice local restaurant (Ustria Aurora), a handy grocery store and a beautiful church that we visited. Philipp was very helpful and provided us with a car permit before we arrived. This is really a place that we would like to come back to, regardless of season.

Jochen's penthouse apartment is bright and spacious and surprisingly quiet given its location close to the village centre and the ski lift. We loved it there and would hope to return sometime. We would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful holiday week in Churwalden. The apartment is very nice and we were delighted. Description, amenities, check-in, everything just perfect. Underground parking with direct access to the ski room is great. We can recommend the apartment to everyone.
