Very well located amazing little apartment with wonderful hosts - from recommendations to answering questions promptly, they did it all. Definitely would recommend, hope to be back soon.

Nice place in the centre of Venice. But in a quiet little corner.

Marialuisa and her daughter Giovanna offer one of the most exceptional experiences in Venice. Everything in the apartment is exactly as described, and Giovanna is a kind and helpful host. We unfortunately had cold and rainy weather (it was winter in Venice after all!) and having such a beautiful setting, where you can just watch the canal all day, was the best part of our time in Venice. I have been to Venice quite a few times, but this is the first time I’ve ever stayed in the Grand Canal, and it is unforgettable. The neighborhood is lovely, and if you are an art fan, you almost cannot be closer to the Guggenheim or the Accademia Gallery. The character of the building adds to the experience, but you do need to know this is not a 5-star hotel (though accommodations are still extremely beautiful and comfortable!) but it is a 10-star experience. And any minor inconvenience we faced was promptly dealt with, or really did not matter, cause the location is perfection. Grazie, Giovanna!

Brilliantly located apartment for the Biennale sites, but also for catching the evening sunshine down on the front at Giardini and eating well locally at places like Nevodi. The apartment is highly compact and one of two in the same old building in a lovely quiet neighbourhood in Castello, just off the Via Garibaldi. If you’re going with friends or as a family of four, you could perhaps rent the whole of the upper part of the building? As previously reviewed, the bed is SUPER comfortable, and the bathroom has new fixtures and fittings which all work well. The kitchen is equipped with most things you need and Dr Borella has it stocked with basics and a bottle of sparking wine for your arrival. He’s a very responsive host and has arrangements set up for baggage that you might want to leave in the building after check-out time on the day of your departure. In summary, he has worked hard to make your stay welcoming, comfortable and a success.

We loved the location. It was close to the action and far enough away to not be trapped in the crowds. Great local restaurants just a few blocks away. Place was clean and met our needs for two nights in Venice!!

We stayed in Olivier's beautiful flat for the best part of a week. It's even more stylish in the flesh than it appears in the photos. I'm an architect and I spent the first hour or so admiring the design and the classic furniture selection. Olivier organised for it to be made up as a three bed unit utilising the clever sliding partition to create the third bedroom. This worked really well and didn't really detract from the feeling of space in the main living room. The location is superb, overlooking the canal on one side and the main entrance to the Arsenale on the other. It's very close to cafes and restaurants on the lively Via Garibaldi. It's also pleasantly quiet in this area. Walk north along the outer wall of the Arsenale and you can be on your own amongst the narrow streets and canals. Oliver is an attentive host and offered plenty of advice about where to eat etc. All in all it was probably my best ever air bnb experience and I would definitely stay there again. Thanks Olivier!

We enjoyed our stay at Elena’s apartment! There are lots of reviews describing how good the apartment is so my review will focus on how family friendly it was. Traveling at the end of February with a toddler can be really challenging so it wasn’t that much thanks to the comfort the apartment offers. There was heating system so the temperature was perfect as well as the hot water. We were provided with baby crib, blankets and pillows as well as a comfortable baby chair. The apartment was very clean so we felt comfortable to use the provided baby accessories. The apartment is technically on the 2nd floor but there was enough space and privacy to leave the stroller at the first floor. The location is central but very silent, you’ll be surprised by how dark the nights are here. In conclusion I definitely recommend this property for family stays.

Utos place was great , lots of things to see in close range . Plenty of places to eat . There is about 50 stairs to get to the apartment so be mindful of that . Good Aircon and has all mod cons for a short or long stay . Perfect for 2-4 people.

We stayed with a large group of 8 friends, many of which were visiting Venice for the first time. Maria and Carlo were super friendly and responsive to our messages. They gave us important travel tips for Venice, showed us around, helped us figure out or transportation to early flights, helped us book water taxis, etc. They were always one message away and we really appreciated their hospitality.

Beautiful and peaceful. Loved the easy access to everything in Venice while being able to escape the crowds by just a short ferry ride.

For me, the place was perfect! Located in a calm, more unknown part of Murano / Venice. There are great cafes, a bakery and various vegetable shops nearby. Especially nice is that there is an outdoor seating area with a garden. This is not often the case in Venice. With the boats, the accommodation is also easily accessible late at night and at night. I will book the apartment again when I am in Venice with the family.

We had the most wonderful time. We got off to a great start - the communication and connection with Niccolo & Caterina, their consideration and flexibility, made us feel truly welcome and at home. And then ... the apartment is both immaculate and very comfortable, and has great natural light. And the location... this part of Dorsoduro is extraordinary. It has beautiful views - canals, glorious architecture and that light which you only get over water - but it also has soul, and friendliness. And no crowds (!), while being a short walk (20 minutes) from Piazza San Marco. During Carnevale. Not to mention astonishing value - just one example - three cafes within 100 metres charging 1.70 Euros or less for a pretty damn good cappuccino. The best of Venice with none of the downsides.

Dear Elena, thank you for the wonderful stay in your beautiful old,perfectly renovated house right on the Canareggio Canal! We immediately felt very comfortable!The directions to the house are accurate;we reached the house on foot without crossing bridges and were already expected by a friendly contact person. Everything we needed for a pleasant stay was available in the house and it was comfortably warm due to the underfloor heating. We particularly liked the surroundings,which was not crowded with tourists - there are many small restaurants and bars in the area that are mainly visited by locals, we like that very much! We were able to walk to many attractions - even St. Mark's Square is just a 30-minute walk away ; but it was also nice to just stroll through the alleys from the house and explore the area. For destinations that were further away, you could use the vaporettos. We will be happy to come back.

When our original flat was cancelled at the last minute we were so relieved that Nena and Elena were able to give us a later check-in and accommodate us. They were both in touch on our day of arrival and we felt very reassured - great hosts. The house was lovely, lots of space, very quiet at night and we slept so well. Thank you

Cozy place with a nice view of the canal, and in a prime spot close to everything. Chaira was an excellent and responsive host.

We loved our stay here! Amazing location, walkable to all the main things but nice and quiet with the most incredible view! Kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities and more. Everything was clean and tidy. Giocomo was so helpful with our questions and gave excellent suggestions, also let us have a late checkout so we didn’t have to find a luggage locker. We hope to be back one day!

We loved the location! The beds are comfortable, the sofa bed was made also comfy with an addional topper. Bed linen and matress are perfect. Two things to mention though: The apartment is not preheated. We had 18 °C on arrival and 21 °C on leaving the next morning. Sleeping in cold air is fine with me but taking a shower is not. The heating is done with 2 A/C units, both indoor and outdoor units are inside the apartment (the outdoor units in a cupboard on the wall). Therefore it's noisy but we could not turn off the devices as it was really cold.

We had an amazing trip, the house is in a very good location, easy to find and with a lot of things to do. Elena was very helpfull and kind. We would love to go back!

STOP LOOKING, JUST RENT THIS PLACE. Is it a 5 star hotel? No. Will you feel like a million bucks staying here? Yes. Imagine staying in a 15th century palace... oh yea, it was one! Does it have a Kitchen? No. But there is a Nespresso (older style, smaller pods, plenty), a tiny fridge and basic plates/cups/utensils/wine opener. There is a COOP (supermarket) 2min away where you can get anything you need. I cannot tell you how beautiful the antiques are, the views, the giant glass doors that open right to the canal, the huge glass chandelier, the bed and bedding is great (memory-foam style pillows so might be a little hard for you, but we got used to them fast enough) and it's quiet too! If you are staying 1-2 nights, you want to walk to St. Marks (~20 min) to experience the city. If you are staying a week you want to be this far from the crazy, but you are still just off the "The Main Venice Street" here. +Hosts were SUPER helpful when our flights got messed up!

I don’t know where to start, first of all he is as responsive as it gets, with all the best tips for surrounding area. Check in was super easy and very well explained! Apartment is a top notch as well as the whole complex is. Very close to the beach and really peaceful too. I can say that I am very happy that I chose his apartment! All the recommendations!

Absolutely stunning apartment in a fabulous location. Monica and Alessandro were extremely helpful, especially with our late arrival and early departure! We definitely hope to return - this was the perfect place to stay! Comfy beds too…
