Vacation rentals in Västra Motala

We stayed at one of Mattias's cabins in October and it was in a wonderful location and super cozy! The views are amazing, right on the beach, and it's comfortable and snug. The cabins are such good value compared to a hotel room and much more practical for a family of 4. Beds are comfortable, shower is good, the cabin was nice and warm (good heating system that can be adjusted). Smart TV so we could watch our own Netflix. Sadly the weather was rubbish so we couldn't sit outside, but still a 5/5- highly recommend!

This place is very special. Cute little cottage in the woods with perfect simple, tasteful decor. It feels personal and cosy and is not a sterile unlived-in rental - it is homely and idiosyncratic rather than generic. We loved that! It has a wonderful private beach and a very user friendly sauna - what more could you ask for? We did it all without a car and that worked well, getting a taxi for arrival and departure and then just all done on buses. 15mins walk to supermarket, pizza joint and the bus stop. Transport very simple with the Östergötland travel app. 10 mins on bus to Motala and then also easy to Vadstena (which is amazing and well worth a trip - takes an hour door to door). Daily swims in the (refreshing!) lake and we even saw the northern lights!

Great view of Lake Lake directly from the breakfast table. Fresh, Modern, Quiet and nice accommodation. Perfect reception and lovely hostess and host.

Cozy little home for two or small family. Tastefully decorated and everything you would need. Very easy to check in and clear instructions. Nice patio where there is a barbecue, furniture and loop with led lights. Located neighbor with nice mini golf course.

A great place to stay. The house is quite cozy and Anders is very friendly and responsive. Recommend!

Wonderful short stay at Tanja's place. Tanja gave us nice welcome which was very much appreciated, the cabin was cosy and clean, beautiful lake view. We recommended and we hope to come back in the summer with our kids.

There were nine of us and there was plenty of room and sleeping options. There was everything needed to cook and there was a great barbecue. The house has become well warm, especially with the fireplace. Highly recommended for a holiday with several people. We had a fantastic time and thank you for the accommodation.

The lake house is really fantastic. You have a beautiful view around you. It's on a private road and you really feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. The house itself is nicely spacious, with many large windows for the beautiful view. The house (inventory) has all the comforts. The rooms are nicely furnished. When in doubt, just book. You really don't regret it!
