Such a beautiful place to stay! The interior was comfortable and well stocked, very spacious and had everything needed. The outdoor area was fantastic! The kids loved roasting marshmallows and also had a great time learning to kayak - they didn't want to leave! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

We loved this amazing view home in Nanaimo. It is comfortable and extremely clean. Brian is a wonderful host, very welcoming and helpful. He has gone the extra mile to make your stay memorable by having so many extras available for your enjoyment like kayaks, crab traps and even extra shoes! The home has an incredible view and water access that offers a beautiful place to relax each day. We saw orcas, humpbacks, and otters from the deck! My 4 yr old grandson loved watching the ferries and float planes. Nanaimo was so fun. We are planning on coming back and definitely want to stay at this home again.

The house is immense but also cozy at the same time. It’s private but also very close to shops, restaurants, and beaches. It’s very modern but still embodies the Pacific Northwest. It has all the luxuries of a resort but large enough to host 1 or two families. Thanks for the awesome experience.

We truly loved our stay in the beautiful, secluded location. It couldn’t have gone any better. Don & Kathy are wonderful hosts and made us feel right home.

Excellent place to stay with small kids. My kids appreciated the toys and books, as well as the kid friendly plates. It was nice to not have to bring as much stuff, since there were some amenities there!

Tim and Patti were great hosts. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return when next on Mayne Island. The space was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and peaceful. We were wowed by the great views and appreciated being so close to the trails. Thank you for such a relaxing long weekend!

Daphnes place was great for my family. it was an old cottage feel with an amazing view, and an amazing wood fire place. it had everything we needed, town was only a short drive away. Bonus, it had a fabulous swing on the deck to sit and relax and a treager to smoke your favourites! we would definitely recommend and stay again!

Fourth year we’ve spent a Christmas holiday here. It always lives up to our expectations, and more! Beautiful surroundings, wonderful hikes, lots to see and do. The daily ocean plunge, followed by a hot tub soak, is a great family tradition. It’s a fantastic place to be, even in the off-season.

This was the perfect size for us, the kitchen was very well stocked.

Absolutely lovely little cottage, all the amenities of home in a wonderful location. My wife and I felt right at home here. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quaint, quiet place to stay.

I should not put out how great my stay was because I’m booking it again multiple times this year and don’t want competition! Absolutely perfect!

If you want a sweet little respite away from the rest of the world, this is an excellent spot. Cottage was squeaky clean and had gorgeous views of both water and mountains. The market was super helpful, and they have a great selection of VHS tapes and DVDs available to borrow for a blast from the past. Truly one of my favorite stays I’ve ever had.

What a little piece of paradise! We could sit for hours watching the ocean right in front, and even woke up some time in the middle of the night to watch the moon rise over the water. Very quiet and secluded, away from the beach crowds even though the beach can get pretty busy on nice days. We already wish we were back there! Terence is very communicative and we had everything we needed. Bonus for it being dog friendly!

If you want a private cottage right on the water - this one is for you! What an amazing location. James' cottage is right on the water and there is a beautiful rocky beach to explore. The cottage is cozy and the kitchen is well stocked. Very private! The views are amazing. We had a chilly afternoon so we spent the day looking out the windows at the view. James was kind enough to let us know when there were whales passing! This is a very special and unique spot - I highly recommend booking!

A beautiful loft cottage with stunning views families will love it, there is stairs down which can be tricky for less mobile people and the loft was hard to access for us as we’re in our 60s but no way did this impact our stay everything we needed was there for us. The black swan pub was excellent for hot food . Would definitely recommend staying here 👌🏻

My sister and I had a lovely time staying at Bill and Ashley’s cottages. The cabin was the perfect little size, and equipped with everything we needed to cook lovely meals and enjoy a fun relaxing weekend. Big thanks to Bill for lending us a guitar capo when we realized we had forgotten ours! Say hi to Zoey and Louie for us, can’t wait to visit again :)

Excellent place on Lake Sutherland for a family. Beautiful location on the lake with hot tub on the dock. Great location to access Olympic National Park and Port Angeles. Know that there’s 70 stairs down to the house which can be tough in the rain or dark.

My partner and I stayed here for a quick getaway, unfortunately the weather didn’t co-operate, even just the time we spent inside this cozy cabin was perfect! Warm, firm yet soft bed and cozy linens, well equipped kitchen, felt very private and easy access parking.

We had a wonderful stay in Harrison's house. It is equipped and prepared to an extremely high standard. I have rarely experienced a kitchen with so many kitchen utensils. Plus the beautiful surroundings right on the beach. Harrison really is a super host! It was a pleasure to talk to him. He brought us fresh eggs in the morning. We have extended our stay and I definitely want to come back. Thank you for everything!!!

Can’t say enough great things about this home. My family really enjoyed our spring break stay on the lake. There were no details missed to having a comfortable stay. The hot tub and sauna were great after a family paddle with the kayaks. There are abundant linens for water activities. We really enjoyed the wood stove inside on the cooler nights. Thanks for the great stay.

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful. The view was breathtaking, with the cabin nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Lake Crescent. It was incredibly calm and peaceful—just the kind of escape we were looking for. The cabin was spotless and well-stocked with all the essentials. One of the highlights for us was the cozy collection of books, which kept our kindergartener happily engaged during our stay. Its location is ideal—close to some amazing trails and plenty of outdoor activities. We truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in nature.
