Fantastic location. Very private and peaceful. Close to Stony Plain with all the shopping you would need. Felt at home .Stayed a extra month because we loved it so much. Mike and his wife are wonderful people. 100 % recommend.

It was the perfect cabin getaway. The place is easy to get to, a short drive from Edmonton and James’ check in instruction was very helpful and clear. If you’re looking for a tranquil, cozy, and lazy vacation—sipping hot chocolate by the fireplace and enjoying a digital detox—this is the perfect place. The wide-open sky at night is breathtaking, filled with stars, and the town is so quiet you can hear your own thoughts while overlooking the lake. We stayed on one of the coldest days this winter and were worried that we would feel cold during our stay, but the heating system was more than adequate. John is also a superb host—always quick to respond and very accommodating with our early check-in request. He even left a surprise in the fridge for my mom’s retirement, along with a lovely card, which made our stay extra special. Thank you so much, James!

Dan is a great host and so is his place. He had an unforgettable getaway at this cabin where our main goal was to watch northernlights...and we made it! The only minor inconvenience was a gas smell outside but Im sure he will take care of it.

Lauren was extremely accommodating with trying to get us in early. The house was very clean. The view of the lake is amazing and my we loved the ping pong table. It’s a great location to relax. We would Definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality. The Millers

Great place. Really appreciate that there was a high chair and pack and play, made less stuff for us to pack to the city. The underground parking is pretty tight for a full sized truck but manageable. Area was quiet but close to everything you’d need. Would stay again.

Patricks was a very responsive host and very accommodating. I stayed there with my large dog and he was inviting and inclusive. The dog and I had lots of space and both felt safe. Location was about 3km to a very large dog park which was an added bonus for us!

We stayed at Jean's place for a family Christmas gathering. The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our family. Jean is an exceptional host and ensured all the details were perfect including plenty of chopped wood, a Christmas tree and decorated home. The kitchen was well equipped for everything we needed to make a turkey dinner. We will definitely be coming back again.

We had a great time at the place, the views were beautiful, and the kids had a great time as there was lots to do especially in the game room. The place was very clean, exactly as the photos showed, the host provided many extra things including snacks and beverages, and the instructions were very clear, the host's response to any question was great. And I believe this place in the summer will be spectacular for having a great time on a lake. It is highly recommended to be booked and we will definitely be going back in the summer.
