Cottage vacation rentals in U.S. Virgin Islands

The home was perfect for our needs with a beautiful view of Buck Island. The beds were comfy and the place very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Christine and Stacie were very responsive to our questions. The home is in a great area and so easy to find. Hopefully we will be back.

Cynthia and her team were amazing. From the moment we booked until we left, the communication was prompt and helpful. The place is Heaven on Earth! The views are amazing and very private. There are gorgeous paths on the property with exotic plants and wildlife. The hosts have everything you will need, including aloe for sunburns, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, towels, coolers, etc. This is probably the nicest and most well appointed rental we have stayed in. The location is quiet and only a short drive to restaurants, the market, marina, beaches and hikes. However, being at the far end of the island, everything is scaled down and there are fewer people. We found uninhabited beaches and some of the best hiking ever. If you don't like crowds, this is the place for you. Highly recommend.

Amazing views and gorgeous home!! Our family of 8 including 6 young adults/teenagers had a blast! It was the perfect amount of space for all of us while still have some privacy. Robert was extremely helpful and responsive to our questions prior to arriving and Sally and Joe were so helpful and great during our stay. Definitely a huge plus to have Sally escort us to the house from the airport as we likely would have struggled without her! Grocery delivery from Moe’s was a plus too. We were pleasantly surprised to see a king size bed in the cottage vs queen. We all loved the pool and hot tub in the evening after long days at the beach. Only thing that disappointed us slightly was that we were hoping to hang out in the hammocks on the lower deck but those were no longer there during our stay at least. We had an amazing time and would love to come back some day!!! Thank Robert, Sally and Joe for your outstanding hospitality!!

A lovely week for our family vacation to St John! Fair Winds is very private, cozy, and comfortable. The VIEW IS AMAZING. We stargazed every night and felt the trade winds cool us off after an outdoor shower in paradise. The kids loved staying in the guest house while us parents stayed in the main house bedroom. Thank you, Margaret for meeting us in Coral Bay and leading us up the mountain so we knew exactly where to go!

One of our best family vacations ever! Cynthia's house is beautiful, super comfortable and has stunning views. The beds were very comfortable and we loved falling asleep to the sounds of frogs and crickets outside. The house was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed. The property manager even brought us a delicious banana cake warm out of the oven! We loved the location in the more quiet part of the island - a true getaway! But renters should know that there are not many restaurants so cooking at home is best. Also the driving is challenging and the roads are very steep, so you need to be prepared for some challenging driving - but definitely worth the effort!!! The book of tips from the hosts was also very helpful - great tips on best beaches to visit. Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Fair Winds. We especially liked the beautiful view,the hot tub and outdoor shower, and waking up every morning to the sunrise view in front of us. The house was very private,and we appreciated the town of Coral Bay, much quieter and less built up than Cruz Bay. At night the view of the stars from the deck was incredible. The drive to the house is not for the faint of heart, we appreciated Margaret showing us the way the first time up, and we got used to it as the week went on. St John is so beautiful. We had a great week here celebrating our 25th anniversary!

Lynn’s place was perfect for us as 2 couples visiting St. John. Close to everything and with beautiful views, we enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was also really well-equipped which was much appreciated!

Amazing place, very secluded, amazing views of coral bay. The hot tub and the outdoor shower were great at the end of the day. Highly recommend for couples!

I cannot say enough about Maria & Chloe, you're both absolutely amazing, wonderful people and hosts! This home was so beautiful, the views are incomparable! You could seriously stay there all day every day and enjoy the private pool and stunning views watching the cruise ships below other than leaving to get food. It's absolutely perfect! thank you ladies for being so sweet and kind!

I have stayed at many places on the island while visiting family, and this one was my favorite. The staff is very friendly, there are cool cats that live on the property, the amenities were included which was great. They have little canopy’s to sit under and floaties to use, bug spray outside; etc. quiet and relaxed. Walk right on to the beach!

When we travel as a family, our priorities are: -Isolated sleeping area for our kiddos so we can put the kids to bed and have an area to hang out and cook without waking them -Full kitchen so we can prepare meals with our dietary preferences and not eat out excessively -Laundry so we can pack light Fisher's Perch met all these criteria, which made it a perfect vacation home for us for our week in St. John. It is bright, beachy, and the view is gorgeous. The balcony is a nice spot for your morning coffee and sunset views. The top floor sleeps 4, and the bottom floor sleeps 2. If you want the kids on the sofa bed, consider portable light blocking shades for more light AND temperature control. It is on the rustic side, but that's island life! Be prepared to purchase potable water from the local grocery store, expect a few harmless spiders here and there (again, island life!). The hosts are responsive, supportive, and informative, and the house is great island vibes. Enjoyed our week!

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. What an amazing stay. They truly focus on making your stay comfortable. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we always felt at home. All the staff was beyond helpful and kind. We are so thankful. Thank you.

Wanted a place to take our family and extended family of friends on a vacation they would always remember. This absolutely was that and more. Kids were in awe and so were we. Things we did include going to honeymoon bay multiple x to enjoy the beach, eat and have a few adult beverages. Went to mainland to shop & explore. Ingrid made our stay so much the better w her amazing energy. The massages from her were best I've ever had. Kids had a drum circle night and that was amazing. Our hosts son took us out on his sail boat, super exciting afternoon. The creatures at 4 elements were a fun part of trip. Hermit crabs. Turtles, lizards and cool sounding frogs. My number one recommendation would be to make sure you rent a golf cart before arrival. The walking up hills was likely good for me but I didn't like it 😂. I believe they book up quick so rent golf cart before you arrive. The property is so amazingly beautiful so worth going. Hope we can make it back another year.

St. Thomas was great but meeting Mida was my favorite part of the trip. She did more than she was suppose to do. Her personality was a true blessing during this trip. If you guys have de opportunity to book with her, don’t think it twice. After that trip I won a mom in st. Thomas.

This was a great find. From the listing, I didn't realize I'd be getting one of the best views on the island. The place itself looks great as pictured. I was able to go for a run with no traffic within the gated community. I will never drive on this island with a single drop of alcohol in my body, so it was also really awesome to be able to walk to a restaurant with a solid food & drink menu and live entertainment. The hosts were really accommodating and led us to some great spots in the area. I've used 3 of their restaurant recommendations so far, and I'll check out everything else they've recommended when I can because it's all been fantastic. I hate writing reviews but it would just be rude not to in this case, because my wife & I had a wonderful experience. You want to stay here.

Terry is an amazing host, very responsive and helpful! All of her recommendations are on point. Her home is very clean with everything you need. The back deck is so relaxing with amazing views! Sea Spirit was so cozy and comfortable, it felt like home. The property is minutes away from amazing beaches and hiking. If you want a quiet place off the beaten path this place is for you!

Such a beautiful spot on the more secluded area on the island. We stayed in the larger house on the property so this is a review for that one but it was absolutely incredibly and had everything we needed and more. The views are top notch. Sam was there to help us get in and parked once we got off the early morning ferry. Overall it was spectacular — highly recommend.

We loved our week staying in Holly’s guesthouse, it was so peaceful and well located. The bed was very comfortable and it was very spacious, even more so than the photos show. There is some construction going on at their main house but it never affected our stay. We had such a great time exploring a different beach each day and going on a few cruises. It was only a few minutes drive into Cruz Bay for restaurants and a great home base to explore the island. Would go back in a minute!

Tara and Aaron were super responsive and helpful before and during our stay. The location is private, and the house is sited perfectly, directly with a view to sunrise from the bedroom and porch. It had all the amenities and extras which was super helpful. Nearest beach, Saltpond, is a 5 minute drive. It is at least 10-15 minutes to nearest store or restaurant. Overall great stay on a gorgeous island.

Great vacation home! I felt right at home at this location. I loveeeeee the home! If you are looking for a family vacation spot, this will be your ideal home. I can’t wait to book again! Great service, communication, Hosts etc. I felt very safe at said location. Thank you very much guys!

Loved this place! The host was VERY responsive, helpful, and concerned that our experience was comfortable and relaxing. All the conveniences were provided (esp. very nice beach towels, and beach accessories--cooler, chairs, etc.). As an added extra, it was also very convenient to excursions leaving from the Westin (which, by the way, we recommend excursions from the Westin in part because the parking is convenient and FREE--excursions from Cruz Bay can be a huge hassle because of utterly inconvenient and EXPENSIVE parking [$50 to $84 for all-day]). We hope to return someday in the not-too-distant future!

Theresa was an absolutely amazing host and was incredibly accommodating! Seaside Serenity was beautiful and has so much to offer. The private beach was so nice we spent almost all of our beach time there. Quiet and tranquil at all hours of the day. Located in a nice spot of the island where you could find things to do traveling in any direction. Wonderful place to stay if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation. The house far surpassed our expectations and Theresa gave us lovely advice for things to do in the area.

Absolutely gorgeous views throughout the home. Hosts were incredibly communicative and made us feel welcomed from purchase through departure.

My husband and I just went for our 20th anniversary. We LOVED how private the home was yet has such an amazing view. The property is perfect for a couple wanting to relax and take in the island. The pool was perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach. Loved waking up and having coffee on the porch in the mornings. The property also had an amazing outdoor shower that felt private yet in nature. JP helped us check in and he was very helpful with surrounding restaurant suggestions as well as some insider info for beaches and hikes. It couldn't have been more perfect !
