Vacation rentals with a pool in Unguja South Region

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We went over the Xmas holidays in December, and it was very, very hot and humid. The pool was a refreshing oasis, meticulously taken care of with regular water refills. Regular power cuts meant that we were sometimes left without fans at night, which made it a little bit more difficult. The house's perfect location allowed easy access to the beach and the charming Paje area. The local house manager, made sure we got all the needed supplies with ease, for cooking, eating, drinking, bbq'ing. Karin and Co are wonderful hosts. Their home is exactly as described, and we highly recommend it for families with kids.

Stayed for 8 days with my family. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen had all the essentials and we had a fantastic time. The pool was great too! Very easy to walk to the beach and lots of restaurants to choose from. Would highly recommended this apartment! Thank you Juli for having us :)

My stay at this beautiful property in Zanzibar was incredible. The house is truly a dream—spacious, elegant, and equipped with all the amenities you could wish for. The multiple terraces provide breath taking views, perfect for enjoying both sunrise and sunset, while the private pool and gardens offer the ultimate space to unwind. There is a very special feature in this property that is a private access to the ocean. It gives you your own slice of paradise. The house is wonderfully private, making it ideal for a peaceful retreat, yet it’s close enough to explore Zanzibar’s many attractions. The host is exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure every need is met. Her warmth, attention to detail, and local tips made the experience unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for luxury, tranquility, and a touch of magic in Zanzibar

This villa was amazing although my only complaint was the comfort of the beds mattress was a bit stiff and uncomfortable. Staff was really nice! Celebrated my birthday and they did an amazing job decorating! Thanks again!

Lovely private villa in tranquil and beautiful Jambiani, just by the beach. Many low-key restaurants nearby, but also a fantastic private chef and team in the villa, we loved their cooking and friendly attitude. The host Liza and manager Khatid are very friendly and helpful. We hope to return one day.

Our stay in Uroa was wonderful. Emanuele put us in touch with his property manager who helped us with everything from airport transfers, setting up tours and even getting some medicine when some of our family came down with the flu. Uroa is a little bit remote in terms of amenities but that is what we were looking for. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance on the beach but not much more than that. We enjoyed walking the beach every day, swimming and wading out to the sand bar at low tide. There are also people/companies on the beach if you want to setup snorkeling tours or watersports. The caretaker and the housekeeper do a wonderful job keeping up the property and the housekeeper even made a few meals for us with the groceries we bought in Stonetown! The house was beautiful and in good repair. Beds were good and the pool was great to relax in. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay, just what we needed at the end of our trip to Tanzania!

Wonderful spot!

I can't say enough great things about this place, and if we're ever lucky enough to return to Paje we will absolutely stay here again! The place is an apartment in what is really more like a gated community but it's also super close to everything so it's the best of the both worlds - We loved having the pool, communal working space, cafe, parking for our rented scooter, and laundry available and felt super safe because of the security. It was also really nice having a real space to make our own for the week, with a living room + tv, kitchen, and extra bedroom. The beach is a short walk away and there are tons of restaurants on the main the street that are actually better and cheaper then the beach restaurants. If you're only in Paje for a night or two and want to stay steps away from the beach or be right in the middle of the party scene, this might not be the place for you, but we saw a friends room at one of the beach clubs/hotels and were so happy we were staying here instead :)

Our stay at Paola and Daniele’s place was great. The bungalow was as pictured, clean, and well stocked though we did not use the kitchen at all. The place was well located for food and beaches, with the Paola and Grace arranging transport from the airport and taxis needed throughout the stay at a fair price point. Grace was very pleasant and friendly she certainly enhanced the quality of our stay, answering questions and useful recommendations. Paola was very responsive and promptly rectified the WiFi disconnection so I could take a meeting. The grounds were serene and beautiful, pools were wonderful. The breakfast croissants, juices, coffee and fruit were a nice touch and gave room for all the guests to mingle with the teams before heading off on adventures. The property is gated with a very kind security guard and well managed. We walked around a bit at night, but would recommend getting a taxi as it is very dark and the roads could be slippery/un leveled. Would return and recommend.

The apartment is at Soul Paje. Christine’s flat is one of the furthest back so felt a bit more private and much less noise from the back up generators etc. Very clean at check in and has everything you’d need for a couple of nights stay. The pool is amazing and was the highlight of the stay. Lots of restaurants nearby and the beach is perhaps 10 mins walk away. Ample parking too if you drive in. The WiFi didn’t quite work for my partner and I but that just meant we maximized our stay outdoors.

The perfect place for anyone who wants the comforts of home and a relaxing atmosphere. Personally I need a car to get around the island, but Baobab is close to the beach and plenty of restaurants. Our host Barbara and the staff were the absolute best and always close by. The apartment is frequently cleaned thoroughly. We had split our stay on Zanzibar between Baobab and another hotel. But when we left Baobab and checked in to the second place, we immediately called Barbara and came back that same evening

We enjoyed staying at Rashad’s place. It’s close to everything and just a walking distance to the beach. There are other restaurants around the place. Cleaners comes every morning if you want cleaning. Rashid is a nice person and easy to communicate with as well. I highly recommend this place to other Airbnb community.

Thank you very much for the wonderful stay at the apartment. We were well informed from the start, and communication during our stay was very easy and friendly. Sheila was very kind and always cleaned our apartment perfectly. The location is excellent for accessing shopping options or the beach. The complex is clean, safe, and beautiful, with a great pool area. We will definitely come back again.
