The "chicken house"

The chicken house is located in the middle of the beautiful permagar, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhupten. Gabi and Guido live here their dream of independence and want to expand the farm in a sustainable and tedious way. For example, the walls and ceiling of the chicken house have been made from the more than 200-year-old floorboards of the main house. Oasis of calm near the lake... Captain's House

Our apartment is very quiet and completely quiet in a parallel street to the lake. It is located on the 1st floor , and has a nice round balcony with table and chairs for a nice day in the sun. Only a small walk separates you from the shore of the natural beach pool and the other many tempting leisure activities. In the meantime, we also have a charging station for electric vehicles. In our house there is another apartment….Captains Suite.

The Eigenhof is near to Schwäbisch Gmünd, the oldest city in store. Many historical sights in Rems and Kochertal are within easy reach.
