A Perfect African Escape Our stay at Kangela on February 22, 2025, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty and tranquility of the surroundings—it truly felt like we were in unspoiled Africa. The accommodation itself was perfect in every way. The decor is beautiful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The space was well thought out, spacious, and ideal for multiple families traveling together. Every detail had been carefully considered, and the lodge was superbly maintained—everything was spotlessly clean, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the pool, which was a welcome retreat from the hot and humid February weather. It added an extra layer of relaxation to an already incredible experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful and luxurious bush retreat that blends comfort with the beauty of nature, Kangela is the perfect choice. We would highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

This place is a Gem, very peaceful, perfect get away. The staff go out of there way to make you happy and the Food Sean cooks is that South African home feeling. Jabs is an up beat friendly guy and gave us a great experience. The whole team fits well together. If you want to get away from the rush this is the place to go!

It was a beautiful , stay ,peaceful comformtable home away from home...Honestly speaking it was worth every cent..What friendly stuff, kind easy going...Wanted to stay and never leave..Coming back without a doubt in my mind..Thank you Kay..

Our go to place when working in Hluhluwe and surrounds. Beautiful place with many nyala and impala on farm. Lots of space to go for a safe walk/run and there is a parkrun on the farm every Saturday. Wessel will go out of his way to accommodate his guests.

This Airbnb was SPECTACULAR! The description doesn’t do it justice, it is truly such a magical place to stay, the house is amazing, but the best part was the outdoors, having breakfast on the terrace, looking out at the open fields, one morning we had 2 Zebra walk up to the watering area maybe 10 m away from us, another morning, we walked up into the tree stand and saw two giraffe at the other side of the field, we had other wildlife interactions, but this place was truly just amazing. The biggest mistake we made was not spending more time there, it would truly be a pleasure to stay there again!

This is an amazing place for a big group of people, so worth the money. Really lovely setting and a great stop over on route to Mozambique 🇲🇿
