Really sweet place plenty of room and parking for your boat trailer lots of ramps near by and could not ask for better hosts!

Well maintained property in a great location. Near restaurants, groceries, shopping, wildlife Refuges. Direct waterfront. Spacious, modern, uncluttered, great TV system, all the amenities to live in year round. Deer tracks in the ground across the street!

David and Flanna were the ultimate hosts! They exhibited extraordinary hospitality, were so very helpful, and provided wonderful entertainment. David even went above and beyond by cooking a couple of wonderful meals for us! We enjoyed the extra care and attention during our extreme adventure during the snow storm. They were not just incredible hosts but they became our friends! Hope to be back sometime in the future.

This place is an absolutely diamond in the rough. It is off the beaten path, quiet & the view is nothing short of spectacular! Laura & Marc were very responsive when I messaged them. The house is beautiful, beachy & feels like home away from home. The hot tub is perfect with a perfect view. I even saw a few dolphins from the gazebo. Perfect location to watch the sunrise as well as watch the sunset. Everything you need is here, pots, pans, cooking utensils, eating utensils, cups, plates, coffee machines & much more. Beds are comfortable! We will definitely book again.

Our February stay coincided with so much wind, ice, and snow that getting outside to patio, swing, and other enticements outside were not feasible. However, the layout and setups inside made every hour enjoyable: a beautiful wood bar along the long back window gave us a front row seat of the Albemarle Sound to spend hours mesmerized; fixing our meals in the spacious, very well equipped kitchen was a joy; the décor was lovely, fun, and interesting: the hot tub was even wonderfully warm when snow pelted our faces; we had generous supplies of towels, blankets, and throws; the heating system was quickly responsive; even a carport off the front porch kept our car dry and easy to load despite icy snow all elsewhere: and we caught two magnificent sunsets our first and last nights. It was so good we would have paid to stay longer if someone else wasn’t coming in. Moreover, Guylaine went above and beyond to help us with our concerns about weather conditions. We had an extended stay at da Rivah House and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Justin is a great host and the house was set up well. Would stay there again. One of our favorites.

Another wonderful stay for our family at Water Winds. The panoramic view is immersive and tranquil in all weather, and games and toys kept our kids easily entertained despite the cold. Look forward to coming back!

Very comfortable house in peaceful country setting.Everything was so comfortable and clean. Went to see the tundra swans and snow geese at Pungo Lake- thousands of them and gorgeous- such a thrill. This area with bodies of pristine water, unending corn and cotton fields is my kind of country, plus the attractive towns of Columbia, Creswell, and Plymouth- a great area to visit and only less than 40 miles to Manteo and OBX.

We really enjoyed our stay here in Columbia. We loved that the location was private, but also still close to town and nearby highways. We enjoyed the local coffee shops, and loved the nature. We felt right at home, and the dogs loved it. We will definitely be staying again when in the area!
