I loved the house and the host were very quick to respond. however there is a train that comes at all hours of the night through the town blaring its horn at midnight 1:00 a.m. 5:00 a.m. it was unsettling and Extremely Loud it was hard to get a good night's sleep if your light sleeper I probably wouldn't recommend this house. other than the train noise this house was great

We love staying here with our grandkids. Plenty of room to play outside. Enjoyed the fire pit! Lots of comfortable beds! Unique place to stay in this older hunting lodge but we love it!

Perfect place for weekend getaway

This home was exactly as pictured, spotlessly clean, very well stocked kitchen and has a very friendly, responsive host. The host has clearly put a lot of care into making this a welcoming space. Our family had a lot of fun playing fooseball together. While the immediate neighborhood has some properties that appear neglected, I never felt unsafe, and the home was a great retreat after exploring the area. If you prioritize a well-kept and comfortable stay inside, this is a great choice!

My wife and I along with a few other couples came in town to go to Alabama homecoming and Ashley's place was perfect! The neighborhood is super quiet and peaceful and there are some great walking/running trails right next to the house. All of the beds were clean and comfortable, and the rooms were very spacious. We did not spend a lot of time at the house with everything going on for the weekend but it was nice to have a beautiful and spacious place to come back to. Would definitely recommend staying here and if needed, we will be coming back!

Alan was an amazing and accommodating host. His condo was lovely to stay at and I’d recommend renting it to anybody looking for somewhere to stay in Tuscaloosa.

Very private and quiet. The pool is a plus. We had 8 adults, so it was a little cramped with only 3 bedrooms, but we made do and had a great time visiting my daughter at UA.

Joanna was very helpful with a last minute request. We had an emergency at our place and needed "a home away from home" for a couple of days. This is exactly what we needed!

This was a perfect location for the groomsmen and significant others that were in town for our son’s wedding. Great communication with us throughout the stay. Would be great for game day with a large group of people!

I’ve stayed here multiple times for work. It’s a comfortable “home away from home” for me. Erin and Cory are quick with communication, friendly and accommodating. I’m happy to add this place to my list of possible stays when I’m needed in Birmingham.

We're regulars at this location around Christmas time. the house is always clean and ready for us and is a MUCH BETTER deal than hotel rooms for our bunch. We hope that we leave the house in as good of condition as we find it. AS always, thank you for the use of this house.

This was our 2nd or 3rd time staying here and as usually, no disappointments and a million percent worth the cost. Obviously we recommend and will be back!

A very good stay. A clean place in a safe area. The only downside was there were a lot of steps but we knew that when we rented.

My family and I had a great week long stay here while our house was being repaired. The house was very clean and had all the basics (toilet paper, paper towels, tide pods, dishes) which we SO appreciated. When I messaged Maddie about one of the TV remotes not working she was quick to respond and had a new one delivered just a few hours later. She even offered to come over to help program it. Our favorite part of the house was the retro radio and intercom system. We used it every day to play music throughout the house and thought it was the coolest thing!

Place was great and perfect for large families. Well within anything you’d want to do in the B’Ham area and in a very safe neighborhood. Be aware that the other reviews of the driveway are indeed correct-it is VERY STEEP-but had no issues whatsoever with street parking below. There is also a staircase leading down to the street. Host was available each time we had a question, quick to respond and very friendly. Highly recommended!! K thx bye

Carol provided all the information we would need in advance… Very convenient to where we needed to be for the weekend. Only there to sleep, however very pleasant stay!
