The perfect location to enjoy some peace and tranquility in the countryside. The house also benefits from being right on the lake with a private jetty where you can use all the kayaks and paddle-boards provided. In the surrounding areas there are some beautiful walks where you can explore the nearby areas. The local village in South Cerney is within walking distance which has some convenience stores. It is also very close to drive to some bigger supermarkets for anything else needed. Inside the house, everything is pristine and decor is to a very high standard. The kitchen and dining area was a great open space with room for all of us to be in without feeling cramped. We found a lovely welcome basket included by the hosts and there are all the amenities you would need in the kitchen. The layout of the house was perfect and the ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms was great, even for a group of girls! Overall we had a fabulous trip and the hosts were always on hand to provide recommendations.

The house is spacious and cozy and stands at the very beautiful and quiet corner of the lake. It is equipped very well too. We particularly enjoyed kayak and hot tab. Janice's responded to my message very quickly and gave us very clear instructions too. Highly recommended.

Charmaine's place is the perfect accommodation. Easy to find, straightforward check in and out. Clean and cosy, offers everything you need. Highly recommend.

We had a great family stay in this well equipped and spacious home, literally a minutes walk from the centre of the beautiful village of Bourton-on-the-Water. Lovely welcome pack and helpful & responsive host. Definitely recommended by us all.

An absolute gem of a cottage for a week in The Cotswolds. Perfectly located with beautiful views and an easy walk into Bourton. We did several lovely walks with our dogs right from the doorstep. The hosts Tishy and Richard are incredibly welcoming and always ready with local recommendations. Lovely to have a little welcome pack when we arrived and the cottage was spotless throughout.

Really enjoyed a quick get away, the location was perfect, we walked to the seven stars pub for dinner which took about 30 minutes and got a 10% discount for staying at Mike accommodation. Food and service were top. The hot tub always very relaxing and clean. Will defiantly be back!

Hannah’s place is wonderful and Hannah is a great host! She had been super helpful with recommendations and very flexible on check in. The house is lovely with great views and beautiful surroundings. The kids enjoyed the playground and all the amenities within the development. We hope to be back over the summer.

We had the most amazing few nights at Alex’s place. Firstly her communication was amazing with quick responses - she also allowed us to check in 2 hours early as the airbnb was ready! The location is perfect and parking easy at Tesco (although we always managed to park down the street on the left). Despite being in the centre the apartment is silent and Netflix, as well as other streaming channels are easy to access on the TV. We found the bed so comfy and the facilities are very clean! Lastly Alex’s recommendations were amazing - we ate at The Plough Inn at Ford the first night which was an old pub with loads of character and had breakfast at The Croft in Bourton-on-Water which was also incredible! Whilst there we also tried Davenford Cafe and Gastro Burgers which were also lovely but we also enjoyed a drink at The Stag and The Queen’s Head in which both have sunny beer gardens. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return ☺️
