We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin is cozy, homey, clean and engaging! My friends and I had a blast cooking, playing pool, going in the hot tub and skiing. Everything in the home was easy to use and the instructions were very clear. Even with a block wide power outage, Ray was incredibly gracious and responsive and took care of us. We want to come back in the summer months to enjoy the lake!

Martin could not have been more accommodating. He responded very quickly to my questions. His home was perfect for our needs. It had everything we needed . They had a welcoming gift basket and a welcoming note upon our arrival. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends. Thank you, Martin for opening your home to us.

Great place for our family to stay for our ski trip. Close location for the area to multiple mountains. House was very clean and everything was exactly as advertised. When I had a few questions, Garrett was quick to respond. Will definitely rebook for next year and probably will try a summer season rental as well.

Great stay!!! Exactly as described. Close to Jim Thorpe and amazing restaurants /scenic spots. Home is nestled closely to another house but that we knew based upon previous reviews and wasn’t a problem. Loved the hot tub and modern cabin ambiance. Fantastic responsive host! Would stay again!!

place was just as pictured maybe even better. it was perfect for my group of 8 and everyone had their own bed. kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook for the weekend. we really enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub. would definitely recommend to others and would stay again next time i visit the Poconos.

Stayed there with my family for 5 days was an absolute pleasure beutifull home comfortable beds and really every thing we needed from high chair for my baby to baby crib and Luisa was awsome so responsive and helpful thanks again Luisa for a great trip

We had an excellent weekend! Kelly's place was in a great location and was very comfortable for our weekend away. Kelly's communication was top notch and everything we needed for a great weekend was at our finger tips.

The star was a gem and supremely cozy. Rita was a gem to deal with, always quick to respond and answered all our questions before they were ever asked. highly recommend!

Had a wonderful time at Erica’s mountain house. House was so cozy and everything was just as pictured. Erica was flexible about check out time which was so helpful not feeling rushed on our last day. We loved the fire place and sunroom. It was a snowy weekend and we still had a great time.

Had an amazing time with family and friends. The house was just enough. Not too big but can comfortably fit a larger amount of people. Definitely felt at home and on vacation at the same time. Host was very helpful. The enclosed yard was a wonderful bonus! Definitely would rent again.

This is our second time visiting the cabin and we love it because you can relax and the best thing is that the river is behind the yard and you can fish right there. Earl is very friendly, always responds quickly and the cabin is very clean, it is a perfect place to relax, we hope to return soon.

We were first time visitors to Jim Thorpe and we were so fortunate to have stayed at The Van Pelt House! It was an ideal location, we walked everywhere and returning each day felt like coming home. The house is beautiful, snug, and comfortable. Helen even left us snacks and a bottle of wine. The back deck and the fire pit patio was wonderful and a great place to relax. Helen was the perfect host and we very much look forward to returning.

My friends and I stayed at Susan's place for 2 nights for a 3-day ski trip to Shawnee Mountain. The location was great- it was easy to find upon arrival and the resort was only a 40 minute drive away. Susan was very accommodating and answered all my questions in a prompt manner, which helped me feel more prepared and reassured when planning on what to bring. The house was very clean, organized, and the kitchen amenities were great perks. I especially appreciated the coffee and creamer she provided for us! Hot water and heat were always available as well. Overall, it was a smooth and comfortable stay and my friends and I had a great time. Would definitely recommend to others!

The house was even bigger and cozier than the photos made it look! Great location for our ski trip to Blue Mountain and Camelback. Favorite part was the electric fireplace!

This was an excellent and affordable location for a quick stay while traveling/skiing in the Poconos. We got to see some of the local wildlife (turkeys) and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful home. The cabin is very easy to find and is close to local towns/stores for whatever you may need.

Ellen was super helpful and accommodating from booking her house to checking out. She was flexible with me when it came to checking in later and was very responsive with my inquiries. Her home was very lovely, clean, comfortable and matched the photos. It was the perfect getaway for my wife and I to enjoy the beautiful scenery around, got some well needed rest and was able to check out different locales. I would definitely book with Ellen and her home again!

Very responsive host and house was pristine…would highly recommend. Only downside was the one tv and outside access to game room only but other than that it was great.

Great place to relax for a few days. Secluded location makes it easy to shut out the world and enjoy quality time. The host is very responsive to any inquiry and keeps the place tidy.

She was very responsive and went above and beyond to assist us with helpful information when we had car trouble, which gave us much-needed reassurance since we were so far from home. This was my first Airbnb rental, and I was initially nervous, but the experience exceeded my expectations. The home was cozy and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Its location was incredibly convenient—close to many restaurants, stores, and premium outlets. Weis supermarket and CVS were within walking distance, and Camelback Mountain was just a quick 10-minute drive. Overall, a great stay, and we would definitely book again!

The house was exactly how it was listed. The host was pleasant to deal with and answered all my questions. He also surprised us with a much earlier check-in time. that was greatly appreciated because it gave us extra time to explore the community on our first night instead of having to do it the following day. The community is very nice. Enjoyed the pool and the lake. The BIGGEST suggestion I can give anyone who's going to stay at Big Bas Lake in the summer months is to get to the pool a little before it opens. If you don't you won't get a chair and maybe not even a space in the grassy area. We didn't get to use the fire pit area but from what I could see there was plenty of firewood in the wood bin. you won't need to bring starter wood with you. Thanks Again for allowing us to stay at your home. Maybe we will see you again at the end of the summer.

This little cabin is great. Has a nice layout and everything you need. It was very well maintained and clean. The host Christy was amazing and had gone above and beyond for us. My son and I were there to snowboard at Big Boulder which was an easy 5 min drive down the road. There were also plenty of restaurants with good food. My son especially enjoyed Piggy’s which is an excellent breakfast and lunch spot at the end of the road. I would highly recommend this little cabin to anyone staying in the area.
