This was one of very favorite places to stay in the last 5 years of traveling. Olga treats you like family and goes out the way to make sure her guests are comfortable and taken care of. The apartment is exactly like the photos with an amazing location. The apartment is spacious enough for a family and the furnishings are comfortable and in good condition. Being just across the street from the ocean and the beach. The floor to ceiling glass windows and sliding doors offer the sound of the surf and an amazing sunset view from the salon. Huanchaco is a small beach village filled with locals restaurants, street vendors and surfers, with buses that run the 15 minutes into Trujillo and will drop off/pickup from a modern mall and grocery store with everything needed for extended stays. I’m already missing this apartment and the family feeling that was extended to me. I’ll certainly return as soon as I can.

Place was exactly what I hoped for. - Nice view of the beach - Private elevated patio - Fresh seabreeze - Quiet, away from all the noise you hear in central Huanchaco. No bars, parties, buses, cars, loud music. - Safe - Hot water was actually hot! You wait for a little bit for it to turn hot but it does arrive. The host was very polite, friendly and accomodating. I love sleeping to the sound of waves. This was the place for that. Not fancy but I don't need fancy. Great for the reasonable price.

Everything was great! The apartment felt homy from the moment we stepped foot in it. We stayed there for 6 weeks working remotely and it was perfect. Pedro brought us a small table that we could use to dine since we were using the main table as a desk. The wifi was around 40 mbs about 90% of the time, we did get a few problems with it at first but then it was ok. The apartment was slighty outside the center of Huanchaco which we were super happy about since the center can get very loud! Working remotely from there was amazing, there’s no better way to end a work day than by going for a sunset surf session!! If you are planning on remote working from there and use North American chargers, just know that none of the electric plugs in the flat has the third pin so you’ll need an adaptor. Would 100% recommend and go back!

Amazing accommodation, the place is very accessible, with a variety of places nearby for lunch and a night sack. The place was clean, tidy and very cozy, the balcony adds added value to the stay. Pedro was always very attentive, worried and flexible for us to enjoy our stay. Excellent host.

I loved this place! This is a well located apartment for surfing in Huanchaco & includes space for storing a longboard. The kitchen is big & clean. The house is comfortable. Most importantly, the hosts are super friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend.

I stayed in Huanchaco for a good 7 weeks in the small fine room with Tania. I felt very comfortable. The whole house was very clean and cozy. Tania is a thoughtful host, but she gives her guests every space. She has a big heart for plants and animals. Great, was the big window in my room through which a lot of daylight came in. I regularly got fresh linens and towels. Huanchaco is a wonderful place right by the sea and the room at Tania's was my retreat. Thank you for the lovely stay!!

A great place in terms of value and price! a place I'll definitely have when I get back to Huanchaco 🙌 It is incredibly close to the beach, right at the entrance, a much quieter area to wander around and enjoy the disconnection Juan was super attentive and kind, he was super helpful at all times and we felt very comfortable and very welcome, I definitely recommend it!
