Vacation rentals with a sauna in Truckee

Our family of four recently enjoyed a fantastic ski vacation in this excellent Northstar condo. Its ski-in/ski-out access was incredibly convenient, allowing us to make the most of our time on the slopes. Despite being located right in the heart of the village, the condo felt surprisingly quiet and private, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of skiing. The condo was exceptionally well-appointed, with all the amenities we could have wanted. We especially appreciated the heated garage, which kept our car warm and ready to go after a day on the mountain. The host was incredibly communicative and made the check-in process effortless. We highly recommend this condo to families seeking a comfortable and convenient base for their Northstar adventures.

We had a great stay here! Ken was super communicative and helpful. The place looked just like the pictures and was very clean. The location was great for our winter weekend at Palisades and close to Tahoe City for food. I’m sure it would be great in the summer too given proximity to the lake. Thanks, Ken!

Elizabeth was a great host. Super responsive, flexible, and went beyond expectations to help accommodate us earlier than expected due to a winter storm potentially upending out travel plans. The condo was great for our family of 4. It was clean, well stocked, and perfectly situation in the Northstar Village which gave us easy access (1min walk) to restaurants, Copper Lane market, and lift access to the park. It's also only a 5min walk to the gondola that takes you up to the Ritz Carlton if you want to grab lunch/dinner there. Also, around the corner is an ice skating rink, and live music on the weekends. Overall we had a great time, this is a perfect location for anyone wanting to ski/snowboard with a small family. The kids group lesson area is also just a minute walk, where you can get them registered and dropped off for ski school (super easy/convenient). Parking garage is pretty big with plenty of open space, and fits bigger/taller vehicles easily. Cool spot, totally recommend!

Great place right in Northstar village. Key for walking with small kids to lifts. It was perfect for me and the two kids. It is a partially open loft to the two sleeping quarters above. If u are planning on having adult time downstairs after kids go to bed you will need a noisemaker for the kids. Wasn’t an issue for me but I can imagine that scenario. Nice clean and well stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay here again thank you Elizabeth for sharing your home! Debbie

Tracy's place was perfect for our group of 8 adults skiing at Palisades which was less than a 15 drive away! The Airbnb was cozy, and the living room was comfortable for us to all hang out in. Additionally, the Airbnb is walkable (<10 mins) to the lake which was a huge plus. The community hot tub was spacious and just a short 10 feet walk from the backyard. We would definitely book this again!

Great spot - perfect for my kids to walk to ski/snowboard lessons and play in the snow.

Daniel’s condo was perfect for our family’s ski trip. The space is very comfortable, everything was clean, and all of the fixtures and appliances were in great working order. Daniel was also very responsive with communication and very thoughtful with providing staples in the kitchen.

I participated in some of the club activities which were very fun. Megan did a great job leading the activities. The extra large fireplaces to sit near on the beach at night were wonderful. The location of our condo was exactly what we wanted on the 3rd floor overlooking the lake, pool, and beach. Also the jacuzzi tub in the condo was a big plus. Thank you!

Homely place close to Northstar! The shuttle was very convenient to get us to and from the village! Bed was comfy

We had a great stay at Suri’s place in Northstar. The place was very clean & comfortable. We really enjoyed staying right in the Northstar Village & loved being able to walk right out to the Gondola for skiing.

Overall a great location and view of the Aerial Tram area. Clean and comfy condo that easily fits a small family. When parking in the garage beneath the bldg, just note that there are TWO (2) entrances to the garage, both of which will accommodate 8’ high (my Escalade ESV with large Yakima rooftop box barely squeaked under this…just drive cautiously). The easier entrance to these South Facing Suites (as they are called in the bldg) is to enter closer to the area ACROSS FROM PLUMPJACK INN.

Great place for skiers, nice top floor unit, great living room with fireplace, balcony facing woods, wonder hot spa and sauna, easy shuttle ride to Palisades, comfy drive to Tahoe city for great water front dining places, also a garage for easy storage of our skis. 4 of us skied here and enjoyed the wonderful home, will come back for sure. We had a wonderful stay at Joanna's place. She was so helpful and responsive to all of our questions and her home was perfect for our weekend getaway. I would recommend her place and look forward to staying there again ASAP.

I organized a company trip at VK & Div's home and everyone was very appreciative of the stay! The home had a very unique layout with fun amenities and we enjoyed the indoor hot tub and sauna the most! We would highly recommend their place to anyone with a larger group planning a trip up to the mountains!

This listing was absolutely fantastic! The house is incredibly spacious, modern, and yet still maintains a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's also perfect for families. While adults were busy in the kitchen, the kids were entertained for hours with the abundant supply of games, toys, books and puzzles. One of the highlights was the open floor plan, including a line of sight to the hot tub, allowed the whole family to relax and enjoy each other's company, regardless of what everyone was doing. If you do want a little bit of space, the upstairs trundle room is a great addition, providing a dedicated play area for the kids. We were incredibly impressed and will definitely be booking this listing again in the future.

Great spot for a birthday ski trip amongst friends!

This property is great for a party of 8-10. There are 2 full kitchens, plenty of bathrooms, and large common areas. As listed in the description, and confirmed by the host, 4WD/AWD vehicles are an absolute must. The road in and out of the property is very steep. It is fine if you take your time on the way down, and maintain momentum on the way up. This is the only feedback I can share that’s not 100% positive. Would stay here again!

Thanks David, our group (4 couples + kids) really really enjoyed our stay there. We had a lot of great memories on the snow and in David’s wonderful place! The home is really nice, comfortable, spacious and great for a large group. The kitchen is very well equipped. It’s as if you’re in your own home! And the location is fantastic. David was super helpful, proactive and responsive. We strongly recommend this home!!

Loved our stay. A very peaceful street and a beautiful backyard that our children to advantage of to the fullest. There was the perfect amount of snow to play with during our stay. The house was huge and had all the amenities you could ask for. Would happily come back to stay again.

Cozy, well-equipped, good family times around the dinner table and fireplace, a useful work-nook when someone needs some personal computer time. Instructions are quite complete. Kate was very responsive when we had questions during the stay. Access road is well plowed, which is an important factor in winter.
