Cottage vacation rentals in Traverse City

This house is a great place to stay. We will be back for sure. We have friends and family that live near by. Fenced yard was perfect for our fur baby. This place was super clean. Updated. Stayed here for a ski trip at Boyne. Was close to Boyne and restaurants. Loved the hot tub. Perfect size for 2 couples

Went for a girls weekend, 4 of us total, and it was perfect! Great place to relax and unwind. Close to downtown Traverse City and beautiful hikes. Michelle was very helpful and friendly. Overall a perfect place to getaway!

THIS home is perfect! Location and setting was outstanding—even in our wintertime stay! The stock of everything in the home was thorough and thought filled! The beds were so cozy! And all other amenities were fantastic! 1.5 baths—>💯✅! Will stay here again!

Had a great stay here for the second time. Place was clean and tidy as always. Well stocked with towels, soaps, pots/pans, etc. Some recent renovations have the place looking even better than I remember.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We love the location and used this as a home base to explore Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, Leland, Traverse City and Boyne Mountain. The house was exactly what we needed! Everything was wonderful and they had everything we could need. Any time we had a question she responded quickly. I would absolutely recommend staying here and believe we will be back!

Jake's place was clean and comfortable. it is a good spot to stay if you're exploring Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and the surrounding attractions.

This was our first repeat Airbnb experience, we enjoyed Laurie’s place that much! It’s peaceful and the lake is lovely, no matter the time of year. Close to Short’s brewing and Schuss mountain, not far from Boyne, it’s quiet but still well located to have a great up north adventure. It’s also well stocked with toys and books, which is a great plus for our family! And Laurie is super responsive and kind. We might stay a third time!

Great place to stay. Walking distance to Crystal lake & once a few minute drive to Frankfort. Very peaceful & secluded. Highly recommended

Our car broke down on our way up North so we got to the house very late with no food or water because stores were closed and luckily this house had everything we needed and was so clean and cozy! We enjoyed every room and played lots of games and built a fire everyday. The guidebook was also so helpful! We enjoyed this house so much and would love to come back and stay at Darcy’s again. One of my favorite stays, thank you so much!!

Probably the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. John and his wife were kind and quick to respond to our questions. While they live on the property, we did not see them at all during our stay. The water front makes it extremely enjoyable and the lake is quiet. They checked in with us and always made sure we had everything we needed. We will absolutely be back to this rental, hopefully for longer next time!

2nd time staying at the Morel cottage, 1st time during the winter months. Hosts were good communicators & set realistic expectations of the cottage. Had majority of meals at the cottage & hosts ensured kitchen was best put together kitchen I've encountered on Airbnb. Cottage was clean, comfortable, quiet & had just enough furniture without being cluttered, a Goldilocks of furnishing & interior design. Glad hosts could accommodate request of minimizing use of chemical & perfume scented products as cottage had a clean natural smell that shows good housekeeping & upkeep. I am thankful for a stay at a beautiful & quiet area tucked away from the city with just nature, trees & snow, with star viewing at night away from light pollution of the city. This place creates a successful environment to recharge & relax. Very happy with my stay here.

Great little cottage. Loved the location and the proximity to town. Everything we needed. Will definitely return hopefully when it isn’t cold and rainy so I can enjoy the beautiful screened porch and nice yard/firepit.
