Fantastic place - probably one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in. Very friendly reception, always on hand if we needed anything. Beautiful, spacious house - spotlessly clean - everything worked! We were so comfortable there. Lovely balcony to watch the sunsets and lovely pool too. Washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, grill, oven , hob, cleaning products - its' all here. You do need a car to explore the local surroundings and the nearest supermarket is 25 mins away by car. We visited the towns of Braga, Porto, Coimbra, Viseu, Aviero and Agueda - all very worthwhile. We also took a trip to the nearby (15mins drive) car museum at Caramulo. If you fancy striding it out a bit, drive a little further to Caramulinho, park up and there is a 2-3 hour trail walk up through the hills. Thank you very much to the hosts - a wonderful holiday had by all ! :)

Theia was wonderful, very friendly and warm. We felt really comfortable and welcoming, it felt like home. She gave us a lot of beautiful locations to visit and it was amazing going around. The caravan it’s in a private place surrounded by nature, perfect to get away from the noisy cities. I would come back for sure and I definitely recommend it, it was worth the time we spent there. Thank you Theia for being such a nice host!

If you travel with family, you have found the right place! Impeccable, clean and beautiful! And we are demanding! Super easy communication with Antônio (although NOT necessary). I recommend it to everyone!

O Palheiro was a lovely place to stay in an exceptionally beautiful area of Portugal. Paula was extremely friendly and welcoming and the accommodation was very well equipped and comfortable. It had everything I could hope for to relax, refresh and recharge on my road trip. I can highly recommend the hosts and accommodation to other travellers and I look forward to visiting again if I get the opportunity in the future.

Very nice place! Cozy rustic house with vintage furniture. It's like visiting my grandmother's place! Very Clean. Comfortable Beds Nice kitchen. Friendly and helpful host. Quickly responded to all our requests. We are very happy with the time we spent in this house. The only downside is the rooster neighborhood. He started screaming at four o'clock in the morning.

We love the house, space and surroundings. Natalie and Mike were always very available and careful, at check they left us some cookies and a toy for our cadellite and jams, wine, bread and candy for us. When they heard that I was a vegetarian they still gave us some peppers from the vegetable garden. Out well past days, the quiet and quiet of the place are very comforting and the proximity of the Ecopista do Dão and Rio allow for very pleasant walks. I recommend!

Our stay at Dina’s place was wonderful. The house looks exactly like in the pictures and the outdoor space is beautiful. It’s amazing to disconnect and be in the nature. Make sure to bring groceries, it’s a 30-minute drive through the hills to find a bigger grocery store - which says a lot about how peaceful the place is! Definitely want to come back.
