【Ginza/Tokyo area】 Junior Suite (Free Wi-Fi)

This hotel was the best hotel of the two we stayed at in Tokyo and I wish I would have stayed here longer. It was walking distance to many attractions and restaurants and right next door to a Lawson's which made eating breakfast very easy in the mornings. The rooms was spacious, clean and had all you would need. I would not hesitate to stay here again if we return to Tokyo.

Great spot for a group of four friends. Convenient location next to the Oedu line and walking distance from museums, Nakamoto-dori street, and more. Not much space for hanging out in the room, but if you’re spending your days doing activities around Tokyo it’s perfect.

One of my favorite places I stayed during my time in Japan. Waking up to see Mt Fuji was beyond amazing. The host was super responsive when we had some difficulty navigating the area. I would definitely love to stay here again!

E142 The location of Mt. Mt. Kawaguchi is very good, Hoshino Resort is next door (Japanese-style 14 stall lake view side) Newly opened with a bath and a bicycle rental

We had a wonderful and memorable stay in Kawaguchiko! The room was very clean and had a stunning view of Mt. Fuji right from the window—truly a highlight of our trip. It’s just a 5-minute walk to Oishi Park and very close to the Red Line bus stop, making it super convenient for getting around. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful—offering great local restaurant suggestions and even offered arranging a taxi for us before checkout. They were also very flexible with check-in/out times and provided luggage storage so we could explore more after checking out. Bike rentals are available too, which we highly recommend for a more immersive Kawaguchiko experience. Overall, a perfect stay—highly recommended!

SW14 room with direct view of Mt.Fuji, Kawaguchiko lake, best room type of light on three sides, next door to Hoshino Resort, early bird discount

This place is such a hidden gem! The accommodation looks even more beautiful than depicted, has stunning views of Mt Fuji (weather permitting), and was exceptionally clean. The host was very friendly and helped us with a personal request which was extremely appreciated. We could walk to Oishi Park and were provided with bicycles to cycle around the lake one evening. In the evenings we were able to book a private onsen for 50 minutes, which was relaxing and a really special way to spend a night. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return someday!

NW14 The location of Mt. Fuji is very good, Hoshino Resort is next door to Hoshino Resort (and room 14 great view of the back mountain)

We enjoyed our stay at this airbnb. The room was clean, bath was clean and we were overall comfortable. The owner / host was so incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help us with our trip. Our only comment is that this neighborhood is pretty during the day but you cannot find any restaurant after 5:30pm, and very few before. So, we borrowed bicycles and rode about 3km to get dinner each night. Also, we are not sure if taxis would run this late. For future guests, if you like riding bikes and are happy to move then this is a simple and nice place to stay away from the crowds. For that we liked it. However, if you do not want to move or if the weather is bad then it would be a more difficult place to stay.
