Guesthouse vacation rentals in Tobago

Our time with Tiina and Lion was amazing! Located in a nice, small, authentic place, you immediately get into conversation with everyone and are immediately integrated. The location is great, you can get to the town of Scarborough quickly by car, but more important: on many beautiful beaches on the Caribbean side (from 10 minutes). The rooms including the kitchen and bathroom were very nicely decorated, but the highlight is the terrace with wonderful views - sea view! The house is typical Caribbean, built of wood it cools wonderfully at night, we never missed air conditioning, during the day the numerous fans are sufficient. Tiina and Lion have allowed us the best possible stay, always available, even in advance for planning (car lubrication, airport/port transport), while top recommendations, information for local events, tips for fair prices, ... A really great, beautiful, clean place to stay in the heart of Toabgo!

Easy check-in/ access process, clean, it was easy to communicate with Tracey and the person "onsite". I was in unit 4, it was a great use of space (bachelor apt set-up). The shower stall is quite compact - which was fine for me as I'm fairly petite, but would be tight for a taller person. Tracey was very accommodating with my arrival and departure/check-out time. The pool and area around the pool this a good space. The property is approx. a 15 min walk to the pay booth at Pigeon Point Park (less time if you just want to be at the ocean) and 5 min walk to many restaurants & bars. Overall a great stay. I would definitely stay there again.

This apartment was very spacious and comfortable. It was exactly as described and pictured. The apartment was clean and had majority of kitchen items to make a meal and there were also games in the apartment. Aimee was very responsive and gave us good suggestions of things to do in the area. Castara Little Bay is a 10 min walk from the apartment. It was suggested a pick up truck be used to access the apartment however we were able to use a HRV and it was good. I definitely would stay again!

Vishal’s accommodation was perfect!! We reserved this accommodation last minute because our previous accommodation fell through - BUT we’re glad it did because we wouldn’t have found this place!!! The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. It was also very aesthetically pleasing! All bedrooms were spacious and fit all 8 of our guests. The bathrooms were modern and clean. The pool and view were AMAZING. The gracious flexibility we were offered was very much appreciated! This accommodation was very flexibile with our checkout time as well. Next time you are looking to stay in Scarborough, stay here!!!

Perfect for what we were looking for. We stayed in three different locations whilst on holiday in Tobago; this being the last, we were ready to disconnect entirely. You need a car even if just for shopping for basics, but I’d suggest you need a car anywhere in Tobago if you want to experience the island properly. The villa is very relaxed, lovely decor, has everything we needed and felt super safe.

We had over a month at Pat and Vernon's place. We were welcomed with some delicious fresh, homemade corn soup and mangoes from the garden. We asked Pat to teach us how to cook some traditional dishes (she has skills and is a natural teacher) including rôti, buss up shut, chicken and vegan dishes. We also made doubles. I can't put into words how great an experience we had, and how tasty these were, with 4 different fresh condiments (I could happily eat them every day). We had lots of fun and giggles along the way! We also had a tour of the garden with opportunity to taste veg/fruit/herbs etc. along the way. The beach (200 yds down a steep hill) was quiet and perfect for a morning swim. A little store at the bottom of the hill was a nice spot for a cold Carib/Stag and a lime! As hosts you will be hard pressed to find better. As a location it's perfect for relaxing. And if you need a burst of energy/activity, hop over to Trinidad on the ferry (but take a sweater, the ferry is an icebox)
