Mohamed has a very lovey stay on the farm with his brother, great hospitality and lovely people to be around! The food is good and the room is very spacious although in the end of April it still can be a bit chilly but there is a good heater and moe then enough blankets to cozy up! All in all I would recommend it and will definitely be back here if I I’m in the area again!

We were travelling as a family with 2 little kids (aged 4 and 2) and the experience couldn't be more valuable for all of us. All members of the family treated us with amazing hospitality, making us feel part of their family for a couple of days, which was enhanced by visiting them during Ramadan, so that we could share all their celebrations. Our little boys had a lot of fun playing with the family's kids, they got to know all the animals at the property, and we went for a nice walk across the beautiful fields that surround the property, in the middle of the Rif mountains. You will probably have no cellphone cover and life conditions are basic, but if you are looking for an authentic rural experience in North Morocco, that's definitely what you are looking for, as it is very obvious the family is doing it guided by their desire to meet people and not to make business. Overall, and by far, this was the highlight of our 10 days trip across North Morocco.

We loved our stay in this tidy, quiet apartment! Soumaya made our visit easy and was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The apartment is attached to a house located high up on the hill overlooking Akchour in a very quiet area. The photos don't quite do it justice. Akchour itself was very busy, and this place was the perfect retreat! Soumaya organised a taxi pick up for us from Chefchouen. If you are driving - be aware the house is up a rough, very dusty track on the hill away from the main area. It's possible to walk down to the main area, it's not far (10-15 mins), but you will need to be in fairly good health and your feet will be dusty! The apartment was breezy and clean, with hot water, plenty of cooking utensils, and mint in the garden. It's possible to buy food from kiosks & restaurants in Akchour, but we'd recommend if you plan cooking to pick up stuff before you arrive (eg. from Chefchouen) as choice is limited. Thanks Soumaya and taxi driver Yousef for making it easy & fun!

Cozy triple room in Gite Talassemtane

Fatima was an extremely helpful host especially since one person in our party was quite ill and bedridden for the beginning of our stay. The home is located in a very tranquil and green environment surrounded by the Rif Mountains. The meals were great especially with the views and serenity. We didn't read the description of the well so were unaware we were not close to Chefchoeuen, but we enjoyed beginning our orientation to Morocco in Fatima's retreat. We all thank you Fatima for all the help you gave us and hopefully will be back next time ready to take up the amazing hiking excursions you manage.

Our stay at mourads place was really nice. His house is in a very calm area. At night you only hear some dogs barking in the distance. The family prepared dinner and breakfast for us. Both was really good and more than enough! His little daughter is adorebale. Everything was as expected! Thanks for the nice stay!
