Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Thunder Bay District

Robert was a fantastic host. The place was very cozy and peaceful and was everything needed for a wonderful getaway from the rustle and bustle of everyday life. To top it off, my girlfriend and I got ourselves stuck and he helped dig and push our car put and was even willing to help tow us out if it came to that. He went above and beyond anything I’d expect from a host. And I highly recommend staying at one of his locations if you want a great place to stay and a host who has your back. We’ll definitely be back!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Lakehouse on Nicol Island. Peaceful, private and spacious for my family. Very luxurious and the hot tub was great. The view was beautiful as well. We explored around the area, taking in the views. Thank you so much Lisa, and Lydia

A Perfect Valentine’s Getaway on Lake Superior I can’t say enough about this incredible cabin on Lake Superior—it was everything I hoped for and more! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully designed to create the perfect escape. The cabin itself was stunning, with warm, inviting decor and high-end finishing touches that made it feel both luxurious and cozy. The fireplace, soft lighting, and plush furnishings set the perfect mood for a romantic getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare a special meal without missing a thing. The highlight, of course, was the hot tub overlooking the lake. Listening to the icy waves crash while soaking in the warmth was absolutely magical, especially under the stars. It was the perfect place to unwind. Beyond the incredible amenities, the location was unbeatable—private, peaceful, and with breathtaking views of Lake Superior.

My parents and I stayed here to celebrate my dad’s milestone birthday. It was a lovely place for us to relax and reconnect as we celebrated his birthday and Easter. The hot tub was a definite plus as well as the ample spaces for us to connect as well as take some time to ourselves. The two living rooms with separate TVs and fireplaces were another plus. Conrad was very responsive to questions throughout the booking process and our stay. We would gladly stay again, and my parents’ friends are asking for more information to plan future stays of their own!

My partner and I had an amazing stay! We really enjoyed the sauna, hot tub, and cozy nights around the fire pit. We also checked out a beautiful trail about 15 minutes away, which was a great little adventure. We’d love to come back in the summer if it’s available—highly recommend this spot!

Fantastic location, especially if you plan to visit the Sleeping Giant. Huge outdoor space with multiple deck levels, all lit up at night both with solar and motion lighting. Cozy cottage with everything we needed, including a really nice hot tub after a day of hiking and biking. Great stop - would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay. All was exactly as described. Lovely location and the hot tub was a big bonus. Had all the basic necessities. Many AirBNBs have really crappy furniture that photographs well. I was really happy that the couch and bed were both super comfortable. We will be happy to come back in the future.

Just book it! My husband and I agree- the best view we’ve ever had! Beautiful at sunrise through sunset, followed by the most perfect stars once darkness sets in. There is a lot of fun hiking in the area and this made such a perfect home base. The views from the hot tub are unbelievable! Scotty was responsive and helpful with local recommendations. We were traveling with our two young daughters who loved the space- plenty of room for all of us. If we’re lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay here again, we enthusiastically would.

Absolutely gorgeous area! Place was well stocked for blankets, pillows and beds to sleep in as well as dishes and the basics!! Tons of space for the kids and adults to spend time together. The hot tub and sauna were a lovely bonus. All around an amazing place for our family to relax and unwind after the hospital!!
