Welcome to our new B&B, at the end of a dead end street where you can almost see the Wadden Sea from your room. The rooms are neatly furnished and have a private bathroom. Furthermore, there is kitchenette and dining/sitting room. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you are in the right place. Also for an overnight stay before going to Vlieland or Terschelling. Or for if you make bike/motorcycle tours. You can have dinner with us (€14.50 p.p) or in the village at the pizzeria. Beware of our other listings, too.

Our B&B is located on the upper floor of our house in De Waal, centrally located on Texel, the ideal base for exploring the island. The Waalenburg Nature Reserve is 1 km from the property. Here you can hike or cycle through one of the most beautiful nature reserves on Texel. The various museums are also easily accessible. Among other things Cape Cold and of course Ecomare where you can visit the seals. Den Burg, the island's largest village with various shops, is 2 km away.

B&B Kahakai by the sea - vegan breakfast

You will be sleeping in a spacious room with box spring bed, Nespresso machine and private, large bathroom. For the vegan breakfast, there is a choice of homemade bread, toppings, fruit, fresh gravy, oatmeal porridge and some yogurt. As much as possible locally and organic. Breakfast is completely vegan, but don't let that stop you as a non-vegan. We set breakfast at half past nine in front of the door. The price includes breakfast and tourist tax of 2.40 p.p.p.n.

The table on which we serve breakfast, is also very suitable as a desk, in the event that you are staying with us for work in stead of vacation. ‘Kamer 3’ is a cosy studio on the first floor of a ‘stolpboerderij’. It features a living part with a lovely sofa corner, diner table for two and a very well equipped kitchen(ette). The bedroom is en-suite with a handbasin and television. There is a private bathroom at the opposite of the room with a shower, small handbasin and toilet. Also there’s a sheltered garden for common use of our guests, with a large diner table and sun chairs.
